Just as dozens of boy motorcycles crashed into the first trench, and their riders were still excitedly howling about their successful breakthrough, the earth let out an angry roar.
Boom—rumble—!!!
A series of violent explosions sent the entire trench, along with the boy motorcycles inside, flying into the sky. Flames and thick smoke rose from the ground, and scorching metal fragments and boy limbs scattered like a downpour.
Initially, with their position overrun, many anxious players even considered suicide and respawning back to the front. But after witnessing such a spectacular and sudden scene, everyone was stunned for a moment, and then, a clamor erupted.
"Holy crap?! Were there explosives in the trench we were just in?"
"I suddenly feel a chill under my butt..."
"Awesome! They can even play like this!"
In the rear, Redeye, who had personally witnessed his meticulously organized motorcycle assault team instantly turn to ashes, was so enraged that his huge metal jaw was somewhat deformed. He bared his teeth fiercely and roared, "These damned ummies! As cunning as expected! They actually buried explosives under their own butts, trying to blow him up!"
"Then, boss, this plan failed, what should we do next?" A boy beside him scratched his scalp and asked cautiously.
"Have the boyz continue the charge!" Two streams of hot air spewed from Redeye's nostrils. "Charge for him! Kill them all!"
By this point, Redeye had come to terms with it. Since he couldn't outsmart these ever-changing ummie, he would solve the problem in the boy's oldest and most effective way—brute force!
He would hack at them for ten days to half a month; if his boy died out, he would just go to another place and capture a new batch. After all, boy are the most abundant things in the entire universe.
Unfortunately, the bloody melee scenario that Redeye had imagined, lasting ten days to half a month, did not happen.
An hour later, an unexpected change occurred.
A sharp engine roar came from the sky, and a Valkyrie transport aircraft, painted with the Imperial Aquila emblem, swooped down at an extremely high speed. The pulse laser cannon mounted under its wings locked onto the largest and most conspicuous target on the battlefield—the warboss Redeye!
A scorching beam of energy arrived in an instant!
Redeye's combat instincts were quite keen; he suddenly dodged to the side the moment he was locked on. The laser beam grazed his body, accurately hitting several boy behind him. Those unfortunate souls didn't even have time to scream before being incinerated by the high temperature.
The Valkyrie, failing to hit its target, immediately adjusted its posture, turning its nose to relentlessly pursue Redeye.
Thus, a comical scene appeared on the battlefield: the huge warboss Redeye frantically fled in front, while the Valkyrie transport aircraft chased closely behind, occasionally firing a pulse laser. Along the way, Redeye remained unharmed, but the boy around him suffered greatly, either being charred by the laser or being knocked flying by their frantic Sir and unable to get up again.
The boy were not fools either. They loved fighting, but that didn't mean they wanted to die so ignominiously. So, all the boy very tacitly avoided the Sir's escape route, creating a huge isolation zone in the middle of the chaotic battlefield.
Finally, after this chase game that lasted for more than ten minutes, the pulse laser cannon under the Valkyrie's wings seemed to have run out of energy and stopped firing.
The transport aircraft began to adjust its vector thrusters, transitioning from high-speed flight to a hovering state, and slowly opened its side hatch. Redeye, noticing this scene, naturally stopped fleeing and turned to face this threat from the sky.
Several Imperial Drop Troopers, clad in heavy armor and wielding hellguns, leaped out of the hatch, precisely landing not far in front of Redeye using grav-chutes.
Redeye looked at these newly arrived, well-equipped ummie, letting out a deafening roar: "Are you ummie the ones who want to challenge him?!"
"Don't misunderstand," most of the Drop Troopers ignored him and charged directly at the other boy around, only one player, seemingly the captain, turned back and replied, "It's not us who are dealing with him."
"Then who is it?" Redeye asked in confusion.
"Hahahahahahaha..."
No sooner had Redeye finished speaking than an extremely arrogant laugh came from the Valkyrie, amplified by a loudspeaker to be incredibly loud, echoing across the entire battlefield.
"Since you asked so sincerely!"
Two figures, even taller and more robust than the Drop Troopers, leaped down from the Valkyrie, landing on the sandy ground with two loud thuds, like meteorites.
"Then I'll mercifully tell you!"
After landing, the two very skillfully struck an extremely embarrassing pose.
"To prevent the world from being destroyed!"
"To uphold world peace!"
"To carry out the evil of love and truth... oh no, it's the trio full of love and justice!"
"Although there are only two of us now, the Chapter Master isn't awake yet..."
"Anyway, we'll talk about that later!"
Andrew suddenly waved his arm, pointing distantly at the bewildered Redeye: "I am Andrew!"
Caleb immediately followed with another pose: "I am Caleb!"
It had been a full minute and a half since the two space marines, descending from the sky, completed a full set of Team Rocket lines and poses.
The entire battlefield, whether players or boy, stood frozen in place as if struck by lightning. For a moment, the scene was so silent that it only lacked a few crows flying by and cawing "Ah ah."
Not far away, the Drop Trooper captain took a deep breath and covered his face with his hand.
"At first, I was quite excited to hear that I could go on an external mission with space marines..."
"Now I just feel embarrassed..."
"No wonder the Drop Trooper squads that fought with them kept changing..."
"Hey! You boy over there! We don't know them! We just happened to be on an external mission together!"
"Brother," on the ground, Caleb whispered to his older brother beside him, "they seem to be trying to disassociate themselves from us."
"Ignore them," Andrew also whispered back, "They're just jealous, jealous of our space marines' sublime status, which transcends mortals."
Redeye paused in place for a full half-minute before roughly understanding the scene. He asked in a booming voice, "So, the ones challenging him... are you two strange-looking ummie?"
"Chall-enge?" Andrew split the word "challenge" into two syllables, adding a questioning tone after each. Then, he raised his right hand and, pretending, pressed the combat power detector on his right eye, "Ho ho ho~ Just you, a mere minion with only 80 power level?"
"Brother, our normal combat power seems to be only in the twenties, right?" Caleb ruthlessly exposed him.
"Silence!" Andrew reprimanded, "You, little brother, why do you always boost others' morale and diminish your own prestige! Watch how your brother vanquishes this small xeno!"
With that, Andrew took a deep breath, struck a proper-looking fighting stance, and charged fiercely at Redeye, shouting, "Wolf Fang—Fist of the Wind!"
Redeye, hearing the Name of the move and seeing the opponent's charging stance, instinctively shielded his upper body and head with his huge arms. And then... Andrew's powerful kick landed squarely on his unguarded abdomen.
At this, the Drop Troopers in the distance felt even more exasperated.
"He even shouts out the Name of his moves when fighting, it's even more embarrassing..."
"Why does he shout 'fist' but use a kick..."
"The honest and simple boss was deceived by the cunning and shameless ummie cans..."
"You mortals, why do you always side with the xenos!" On the ground, Andrew, having landed a successful blow, turned back and roared in exasperation, "Also, have you even watched Dragon Ball?! Yamcha's first move with the Wolf Fang Fist started with a kick, alright!"
