1961, Australia:
"Oliver!" Shouted Isla Lachlan as she came back from the hospital, from a blood test. Oliver knew she went to get a blood test, but he thought everything was fine, and that it was just a blood test, however...
"You won't believe it! I have this thing called golden blood! They say it's the first time they've ever seen anything like that!" Oliver was confused, "golden blood? What is she talking about?" He thought, and though she didn't know how, Isla, read his mind "I-I think I have magical powers!" Said Isla with excitement, but Oliver was worried his wife has gotten sick, and is going crazy.
"Go to the bed, I'll make you a a cup of tea, and talk you out of it" Said Oliver, with genuine worry in his voice, not like the ones people put when you get a cold, no, this was genuine worry, Oliver loved his wife, and the thought of her going crazy made him tear apart, in fact, he went crazy aswell, he even heard her say "harshen" as the fireplace lit up.
But Oliver, he wasn't crazy, it was all real,
The second Isla got her powers she realised something, she's untouchable.
"Please, go to bed Isla" begged Oliver, Isla went mad, she has incredible powers, yet, her own husband is trying to put her down?
She looked straight at him, enraged, and said: "Taba Mutuwa!". Oliver, scared out of his mind, tried to flee, he ran away as fast as he could but after all, he was no match for magic, Isla quickly caught up to him, looked at him as if she had pity for what's about to happend and said "goodbye, my love" then, she touched him, and he dropped dead on the spot, Isla looked at his body and felt satisfaction, she started laughing, and legend has it she would've laughed all night if the police hadn't showed up, she panicked, "Ma'am! You are under arrest for first degree murder!"
In a panic, she ran away, but they shot her, and right as the bullets were about to hit her "sabuwar dunia!" The walls around her began to swirl, and she showed up in a completely new world, a world that was made of magic, our world!
She snapped her fingers and the entire building rose! With incredible powers! No one can stop her, at least not one person.
Just like geez all around the world people began to develop magical powers just like her, well, inferior to her, they were afraid of her powers, so they started the rebellion, or in other words: "the bad side" so she had to gather thousands to stop the rebelion,but I wasn't enough, the bad side started to wipe us out, little by little, even the strongest wizards didn't have a chance, until Isla had enough, and she decided to do something about it.
She stood in front of the bad side and cast an unbreakable barrier, one that will stop them forever, but it cost her life, and now, it is the head witch's job to maintain the barrier at all cost.
"Any questions?" Asked Mrs.Whitaker, as she finished lecturing the class, A boy raised his hand "how did they teleport to this world?" He asked, "great question! It was with the 'nuna' spell, you'll learn more about that in the spells class", another girl raised her hand "what spell did she use to create the border?" "Let's keep this about history please! No more spells".
Holly remembered what the "nuna" spell is, she remembered Geno say that to teleport to her, and she couldn't care less about the barrier spell, she has a more important question.
Another girl raised her hand "how did she become so powerful, and how does she already know top level spells?" Mrs.whitaker smiled and said "well, she didn't need to learn it, she invented them so they just... Worked!" The girl mumbled "interesting" and sat down.
Holly raised her hand "Why did she kill Oliver?" Whitaker seemed pissed from the question, which immediately reminded Holly of the head witch's mood swing, yet answered calmly "well, simple, he told her what to do, so she killed him"
"yeah, but why? She could've just explained how powerful she was, I mean, she can do all of these high level spells, but she can't talk reasonably"
The entire class gasped so hard, it removed all the air in the room, apparently, you can't doubt Isla's choices. But it was the teacher who took it the hardest, she seemed infuriated.
Mrs. Whitaker, who was indeed infuriated, kicked Holly out and said "take her" in a powerful voice that the distortion almost didn't cover, and before Holly realised what is happening she was taken away by two shadow figures, she tried to resist, but their grip was too strong "where are you taking me?" Screamed Holly, the shadows snapped their finger and tape apeard over Holly's mouth "Don't. Ask. Questions." Said one of the shadows in a deep robotic voice.
After approximately 10 minutes of walking in a straight line, they reached a dead end, the shadows stopped, snapped their fingers in perfect coordination, and out of the wall which seemed like a dead end, showed a door, a shadow door.
The shadows snapped again, and the tape that was over Holly mouth was gone, "what is this?" Asked Holly in horror, the shadows threw her in and said "Your. Cell"
"My cell?" she thought "they keep you in prison here for asking questions?", "for how long?" she asked thought But the shadows didn't respond, the shadows closed the door.
"Okay" thought Holly, maybe they just can't read thoughts like withces and wizards, they are probably some magical entities summoned by a spell.
Holly sat down, anylaizing the room and waiting until they'll free her, when she saw writing on the door, "time limit: forever" She read it 10 times before it dawned on her, she has to leave herself.
