Chapter 54 - Wedding planing

Luca's POV

Wedding planning is insane.

"What about flowers?" Sara asks, showing me catalogs.

"I don't care about flowers."

"You should. It's your wedding."

"It's our second wedding. Can't we keep it simple?"

"No." She's adamant. "The Alpha wants perfection. You're getting perfection."

Rian appears, wrapping his arms around me from behind. "Problems?"

"Your pack is overwhelming me with wedding details."

"They're excited. Our Luna getting a proper wedding." He kisses my neck. "Just tell them what you want."

"I want you. That's all."

His arms tighten. "You have me. But you're also getting the wedding."

"Why is this so important to you?"

He turns me to face him. "Because our first wedding, you agreed under pressure. This time, it's pure choice. Pure celebration. That matters."

His sincerity melts my resistance. "Okay. Fancy wedding. But I'm picking the menu."

"Deal." He kisses me softly. "Thank you for indulging me."

"Thank you for wanting to do this right."

That evening, we sample wedding cakes. Rian feeds me each piece, watching my reactions.

"This one," I say, tasting the chocolate raspberry. "Definitely this one."

"Whatever you want." He licks frosting from my lip. "You're adorable with cake."

"You're ridiculous." But I'm smiling.

Later, alone in bed, he's extra affectionate. His hands map my body slowly, reverently.

"What's this about?" I ask, breathless.

"Just loving you. Appreciating that you said yes again." He kisses down my chest. "Appreciating everything about you."

"Show me," I challenge.

He does. Thoroughly. Taking his time, building pleasure slowly until I'm begging.

"Patience," he murmurs against my skin. "Want to savor this."

"Rian, please—"

"Since you asked nicely." He finally gives me what I need, and I fall apart in his arms.

Later, wrapped together, both satisfied, he traces the ring on my finger.

"Two months until you're officially mine again."

"I'm already officially yours."

"More official. More public. More permanent." He kisses my hand. "Can't wait."

"Me neither." I snuggle closer. "Though all this planning is exhausting."

"I know. But it'll be worth it." He pulls me on top of him. "Seeing you walk down the aisle, choosing me again in front of everyone—that's everything."

"You're sappy tonight."

"I'm in love tonight. Every night." His hands slide down my back. "And I'm going to show you exactly how much."

He does. Multiple times. Until we're both exhausted and completely satisfied.

"Best engagement ever," I mumble sleepily.

"Best fiancé ever," he responds, holding me close.

"We're already married though."

"Doesn't count. This time, it's real. Chosen. Perfect."

"Like us."

"Exactly like us." He kisses my forehead. "Now sleep. Tomorrow, more wedding planning."

I groan but smile. Because despite the stress, I'm excited.

Excited to choose him again. Publicly.
