Chapter 11 - Chapter 10 — The Rise of the Tamer

The dungeon trembled as Suho marched through the fog-covered valley. Behind him, hundreds — no, thousands — of skeletons moved in eerie rhythm. Their armor clattered, swords glowed faintly with aura, and among them stood towering figures of trolls, minotaurs, and goblin lords — all reborn as his soldiers.

The air was cold and dry, yet Suho's presence radiated heat.

He raised one hand lazily, and the army halted.

> *"Reset complete. Stage-1… Level-1."*

Every reset now felt like the opening of a grand performance.

Skeletons lined up like trained soldiers, their hollow eyes awaiting orders. Suho smirked faintly.

When he was a child, he had dreamt of capturing strange beasts, creatures that would fight beside him—

A childish dream once fueled by fantasy shows and adventure tales.

But now… it had become a reality twisted by death and dark power.

"Let's see if I can really *tame* them this time," he murmured.

---

As the portal flickered, the first goblin re-spawned — alive, trembling, and confused.

Before it could even scream, Miho, the first goblin skeleton, grabbed it from behind and held it down.

"Good work," Suho said with a smirk.

He crouched, pushing food into the terrified goblin's mouth.

The goblin froze.

His hands trembled, eyes wide.

Then it fainted, collapsing onto the ground.

"...Did it work?" Suho tilted his head, watching it twitch.

"I thought feeding was how taming worked," he muttered blankly.

The skeletons stared at him in silence.

Some even tilted their skulls as if embarrassed.

When the goblin finally woke up, it opened its eyes to see Suho grinning—and an army of undead staring behind him like gangsters.

> *Tamed creature has submitted to the Player.*

> *(New monster added to your army: Goblin [Loyal].)*

Suho burst into laughter. "See? It works! Even fear can be a form of loyalty!"

---

From that moment, chaos spread through every dungeon level.

Skeletons dragged living monsters by their legs, while Suho force-fed them food until they fainted.

Trolls roared in anger; goblins screamed; minotaurs tried to escape—

But nothing could resist the overwhelming number of undead.

The dungeon that once struck fear into players had now become a scene of absurd comedy.

Suho stood in the middle, laughing as trolls cried while being force-fed by skeletons.

And yet, with every reset, his control grew sharper.

His tamed monsters began following his orders with deadly precision.

He had turned the entire dungeon into a twisted ecosystem of the dead and the living—

All under one master.

---

Days later, in another tutorial world, another player stood proudly atop a battlefield.

Behind him soared blazing phoenixes, giant lions, and spectral tigers.

Each creature shone with divine aura, bowing before their master.

> *(Quest of Constellation – Taming God has been completed.)*

> *(Reward: Legendary Egg acquired.)*

The man smiled.

"So this is the power of a god's chosen tamer, huh?"

---

But back in Suho's world, there was no divine blessing.

Only the relentless grind of resets and the sound of rattling bones.

Suho had even tamed the Goblin Lord — the once-final boss of Stage 1, Level 10 — and now spoke to him freely.

"How long have you been here?" Suho asked.

The Goblin Lord's eyes glowed faintly with blue flame.

"I… don't know. We only exist to fight. When someone appear, we must kill. That is our rule."

"Rule?" Suho frowned.

"Yes… an unwritten law. We...Just like… pieces in a game."

Suho fell silent. His chest tightened.

The Goblin Lord lowered his head.

"Master, your planet has become an amusement for the gods. When they grow bored, they destroy it—just as they did with ours."

"Then all of this… is entertainment to them?" Suho whispered.

"For some, yes. For others, it is power. They gain strength through their players' achievements and deaths."

Suho clenched his fist. "Then there's no point in thinking about why. The only thing I can do now… is survive."

---

He looked at his blade — dull, cracked, and barely holding together.

The Goblin Lord tilted his head. "Master, may I offer something better? I was once a village blacksmith before becoming lord."

"You… forged weapons?"

The Goblin Lord smiled. We were not always meant to fight."

For a moment, Suho just stared at him—

And then laughed softly. "So even you have hidden skills… while I'm still searching for mine."

From that day on, Suho began to observe forging weapons with the Goblin Lord's help.

Every reset, every battle, every taming—

Suho's army grew larger, stronger, and more loyal.

Millions of skeletons.

Thousands of dragons.

Countless tamed monsters — goblins, trolls, minotaurs, even spider queens.

Suho opened his status window. He put half of his skill point in [Combine].

> *Skill [Combine-FFF] has evolved to [Combine-F].*

> *(You can now merge anything of the same type.)*

→*(Condition - You have ownership of that thing.)*

He smirked.

"All right then… let's see how far we can go."

The dungeon quaked as Suho began merging monsters upon monsters.

Goblins became High Goblins.

Trolls became High Trolls.

Minotaurs turned into High Minotaurs.

Even spiders and kobolds evolved under his command.

His army was no longer just undead.

It was a legion of evolution—

Bound by one man's relentless will to survive.

---

Suho stood atop a hill of bones and roars, watching his empire of death rise.

Suho smiled, a cold spark in his eyes.

"Keep watching, gods. You made this world your game…"

He raised his sword high, golden and black light swirling together—

"...but soon, I'll be the one writing its rules."
