At Dr. Lillian's office, Clara opened up her heart in a way she hadn't expected to. She sank into the couch, eyes tired due to a sleepless night, but they were honest.
"Ethan and I have had to work together to counter a common enemy," she began quietly, "and because of that, we've become quite close."
Dr. Lillian's brows lifted slightly, a little curious.
"How close are we talking here?"
Clara let the confession fall out in one breath.
"Close enough to hook up on his couch today. Twice." Clara said with a sigh.
Then she continued. " It all Last night when I had a panic attack, a pretty bad one actually. I don't know how Axiel called Ethan, but within a few seconds he was there, hugging and talking me through it."
Dr. Lillian didn't react at first. She simply blinked, folded her hands, and gave Clara a moment to hear her own words out loud. After a long silence, she finally asked,
"And how do you feel about that? Your closeness, I mean?"
