I got escorted to my room with Lydia. I went to the dressing area and sat down in front of a large mirror, I started removing the heavy necklaces around my neck.
"Helena do you need help? asked Lydia who was behind me."
I know that she was worried about me and I can also see the way she keep watching me that she is really worried.
I don't blame her though, if I were to be her I would probably be worried too
"It's ok, I'm fine I said" removing the last jewelry around my neck. From the mirror I could see Lydia going to sit on the bed.i stood up and went to join her.
"Helena do you need some rest asked Lydia."
I looked at Lydia and burst out into fits of laughter, I couldn't believe she said that, she looked at me a hint of surprise written on her face
"Helena did I say something funny? Lydia asked "
"It's still morning I answered "

"Helena I suggest you rest, there is a ball this evening "

Lydia seemed a bit shock by the appreciation but she got over it.

"That's a wise choice Helena because purple represent royalty"

"What's with the formalities I thought "

"But don't you think it's high time will give the princess hand in marriage to the crown prince of Ducran kingdom said brayford "

I want him to be my daughter personal bodyguard."
"But my Lord, he has no experience and he just finished his training. I don't think it's a good idea to allow him be the princess bodyguard said mister brayford worriedly"
He just can't seem to understand the king today, he is acting weird."
"I know that he hasn't undergo military training but I trust him with his princess safety at least her God father wanted him to be her princess personal bodyguard "

"I dare not question your authority my Lord said advisor brayford who quickly left the meeting room "
In no less than a minute a young lad appeared. He was tall,lean and muscular with blue eyes and long Raven black hair which glistened and had really white skin. He was really handsome, he was dressed in a military attire. His black pants was encased in his powerful long legs and his powerful arms and broad shoulders were covered by black and brown silk shirt.
"Greetings your majesty said Seth"
Seth scan the room, it was a large room with a wide and long table at the middle and various chairs were arrange in rows and columns around the table. The king sat at the farm end of the table.
"I'm sure you're wondering why you are summoned asked king Richard "
The king look at the young man and questioned what was so special about him that made the general interested in him and why does he want him to become Helena's guard. He looked too strong and brave for a young man.
"Yes your majesty said Seth"
"I want you to be my daughter personal bodyguard said king Richard "
Seth couldn't believe what he just heard, he looked at the king to be sure he heard right but when he saw her serious he looked, he knew he heard right. The princess ; he has heard of her and he knows she is a beauty and very intelligent but he just finished his training and he wasn't really experienced. He looked at the king and Wonder what went through his head .
"Doesn't he care about his daughter he thought "
King Richard studied the young man expression even though he remain calm and gave nothing away with his relax expression but he knew the young man was in turmoil.
"Your majesty said Seth "
"I shall serve her lady and protect her even if that's the last thing I do on earth said Seth bowing his head."
"You may take your leave said king Richard as he watch Seth leave the room"
