This is the story of a man reincarnated into an otome game.
Every mythological figure from all traditions exists in this world—Hinduism, Taoism, Christianity, Greek myths, Norse legends, and many more.
Now, a quick message to some readers: don't judge the story after just a few chapters.
Read up to Chapter 23.
If you still don't like it by then, I'll respectfully accept every single one of your criticisms.
I'm trying something new here, friends.
This is NO-HAREM.
If the fact that the main character has no goal to grow stronger bores you, then don't read it.
If you're waiting for a protagonist who collects every girl, levels up endlessly, or fights some cartoonishly evil villain, you'll be waiting a long time.
WebNovel is already overflowing with that garbage.
I would like to tell you about our protagonist, Raul.
Raul is powerful, deeply traumatized, and even after reincarnation, he hasn't overcome it—it's only gotten worse.
He's plagued by existential crises and is fully aware of his own insignificance.
I tried to write something philosophical here:
Searching for meaning in a meaningless life is foolish.
The other main side characters: Victoria and Bella.
They're the classic "villainess and her maid"—but don't expect the protagonist to fall in love with them.
Artemis herself appears in this story.
The lore is vast, almost like a modern world—but I won't spoil it.
What you need to know: transportation is primitive, architecture resembles medieval Florence, Victorian England, or ancient Greece… Yet phones and computers exist.
Demons here are not the villains like in typical novels.
Other side characters just introduced: Fenrir and Hel.
The stories of those whose souls are taken—I've put immense care and thought into each one. The very first is inspired by the Polish folk tale of Twardowski, but reimagined.
This story touches on many themes.
Since the protagonist reincarnated into a game, he has zero interest in "fixing" or following the original plot.
I may have used poetry or lyrics from various literary works or songs. All credit goes to their creators.
Please leave comments—yes, there are some clichés, but they come from the world, not the protagonist.
There's a "villain" tag because the protagonist takes souls, tortures them, and absorbs them—think Mephisto.
He does it not out of ambition, but because he has no purpose.
His victims are "villains" in his eyes—but from another perspective, they're not (as seen in Chapter 32).
If you create a character with a backstory and send it to me via the Discord server, I'll do my best to include it. In fact, the character in Chapter 32 was written for a friend—shoutout to him!
Most importantly: I want this to be a novel that breaks every academy cliché—and I can only do that with your help.
Don't forget to comment—I read every single one.
One more thing: if you read 5 chapters and leave a review, all you'll get from me is many curses and a ban.
So at least read until Chapter 23—then trash it as much as you want, and keep reading.
To those who love me and enjoy this novel: I wish you a good life on this journey.
I hope you'll stay by my side.
