Somewhere along the story, Cedric had begun to rub his temples, for the young man was overwhelmed by all the information he was receiving.
Beside him, he could hear Seo-yeon continue in her tired voice:
"After being brought here, I pretended to be a part of the Lords, biding my time until the end. But… I never once used the powers I received from the God of Unearned Misfortune, because doing so would mean that I was praying to the bastard, and he is not my God."
Her voice grew upset with those last words.
