Chapter 6
"I will go to the other side," she said, and then walked hurriedly to the other side of the combat class. It was a huge, bright arena, big enough to contain a hundred students.
"Vincenzo!" a voice snapped from behind. "Get over here, you little coward!"
"What is it now?" Vincenzo asked, turning back.
"Did you actually think you could run away? I'm surprised you have the guts to come to class. I respect your bravery, but today you aren't getting out of here alive!" The bully sneered. "I challenge you to a duel!"
"Shit, don't we need to call a teacher? If Vincenzo accepts, he's only courting death," another voice worriedly whispered.
"There's no need. It's not like he has the guts to accept," a third voice countered.
"I accept," Vincenzo said.
"Oh, I see you don't like your life. But don't think that because you're from the great Alexander family, I would spare you."
Ding.
Ding.
A familiar sound, but nothing happened.
And then a barrier was set up with the two of them inside.
"Wait," Vincenzo said. "Before we start, what's your name?"
He doesn't know my name? That is an insult to my family! Sebastian Thomas Arthur's face went red with rage. "You bastard! Anyway, I will tell you, so you would remember it! My name is Sebastian Thomas Arthur. Remember it, Vincenzo!"
"Oh, the Sebastian family," Vincenzo mused, his tone dripping with false familiarity. "Since when did they start raising trash like you? Good heavens, what has this world turned into?"
"You bastard!" Arthur screamed, lunging forward.
