Chapter 163 - Hinata and Sakura Bid Farewell

"Huh?" Toneri's pale face was filled with surprise.

As Hamura's descendant, his mission was to monitor Kaguya. Therefore, after Kaguya was abducted, he became furious. He vowed to eliminate all minor threats and bring peace to the world.

But before he could even make a move, Black Zetsu was thrown back to him. This left Toneri bewildered.

Was this a hostage exchange?

Did they think they could distract him with Black Zetsu? A pipe dream.

He was going to the Ninja World, and even if Hagoromo came, he wouldn't be able to protect them.

And as for you, Black Zetsu, you'd better behave.

Your mother was imprisoned on our territory for a thousand years and couldn't escape. You'd best be well-behaved too. Otherwise, see what I'll do to you.

Within the seal, Black Zetsu struggled, but found he couldn't move an inch.

"You naturally despicable Uchiha brat, can't you play by the rules?

His great Eye of the Moon Plan 6.0 was clearly a perfect plan, so why was it ruined by a brute like Satoshi?

In the darkness, Black Zetsu wanted to recite a poem.

A thousand years ago.

I was outside.

Mother was inside.

A thousand years later.

I am inside.

Mother is over there.

—Kaguya's third child, Black Zetsu.

As Black Zetsu was planning Eye of the Moon Plan 7.0, Kaguya let out a roar as her hair moved without a breeze. "Damn it!"

Black Zetsu was her only hope of escape. But who would have thought that he would be sealed on the moon by these two annoying brats?

No matter how clever Black Zetsu was, it would be difficult to escape from that place.

Hope, like a fragile soap bubble, burst with a pop.

She dropped her head dejectedly, her hair falling to cover her pale, dazed face.

"Sigh."

...

The gloom hanging over Konoha was dispelled by the immense joy of the Edo Tensei Army's collapse and the sealing of Black Zetsu, the mastermind, on the moon.

Perhaps the Ninja World could finally usher in peace.

At the very least, as long as our Hokage was still alive, no other forces would dare to invade the Ninja World.

Moreover…

The Konoha ninjas present glanced at the Hokage's two students, Naruto and Sasuke. Not to mention the Hokage, just the two of them were unbelievably strong now.

"Clear the battlefield, count casualties and losses, prioritize treating the wounded, and comfort the villagers."

"And…"

"Tell Tenzo-senpai to get ready. He might need to build houses again."

Tenzo, who was just standing by, rolled his eyes and almost fainted.

"Seriously. Every time there's a fight, you make me build houses. My Chakra is limited, you know."

"What? Money? Is this about money?"

"Double pay?"

"You really know how to pick people."

"For Konoha, we will not shirk our duty."

Tenzo, clutching a thick wad of bills, followed his colleagues from the construction department to survey the site.

While everyone was busy, Satoshi walked up to Kakashi, who was leaning against a large rock. He extended his right hand, and a soft glow appeared in his palm.

A moment later, Kakashi subconsciously raised his hand. He gently touched his left eye, and then suddenly opened it wide.

"My eye… it's healed?"

Satoshi asked, "How does it feel?"

"Better than ever, thank you."

From then on, the Ninja World lost the famous Copy ninja Kakashi and gained an assassin as formidable as the White Fang.

...

"Alright, everyone, return to your posts and get the village back to normal operations as soon as possible."

"Understood, Hokage-sama."

The clamor gradually faded, leaving only Satoshi and his two most prized students.

Naruto was pulling on Sasuke's sleeve, their heads almost touching as they whispered incessantly.

What concerned Satoshi most was that they kept secretly glancing at him from time to time. A chill suddenly ran down Satoshi's spine.

These two aren't planning to team up and fight me, are they? Wouldn't that destroy the village?

I wouldn't mind, but your Yamato-senpai might not be able to handle it.

After a long period of whispering, Naruto, as if pushed by Sasuke, walked forward a bit shyly.

"Sensei."

"Yes?"

"Sasuke and I discussed it. We want to go out and train for a while to get used to our new powers."

Satoshi nodded. "Alright. While you're at it, gather intel from various parts of the Ninja World. If there's anything, send a message back promptly with a summoned beast."

Naruto excitedly said, "Mission accomplished. We'll pack up and go, Sasuke."

The two disappeared into the ruins like two whirlwinds.

Sasuke and Naruto were very quick. In about half an hour, they had packed their bags.

However, as they reached the main gate, they were stopped by two young girls.

The guards instantly perked up, their eyes wide, their bodies unconsciously leaning slightly forward. Something was happening, and it was juicy gossip full of youthful energy.

The next second, a white figure appeared before them.

"Ho-Hokage-sama! We were just… just checking the registration records."

"Alright."

Satoshi pulled out a bag and asked, "Want some sunflower seeds?"

"?"

On the other side, Hinata's fair face had already turned crimson, her fingers nervously intertwined.

She asked in an extremely faint voice, "Naruto-kun, are you… going out on another mission?"

Naruto patted his bulging bag. "Sasuke and I are going out to train for a while."

Hinata gathered her courage and looked up, her cheeks flushed. "Then, when will you two be back?"

Naruto counted on his fingers and said, "Probably about a year? Something like that."

Hinata's voice instantly dropped, and her sense of loss deepened, but her heart raced uncontrollably, as if a small deer was wildly crashing inside her. "That long?"

Naruto looked at Hinata's increasingly red cheeks, and suddenly, as if discovering something, he placed the back of his hand on Hinata's smooth forehead.

He asked, "Your forehead is so hot, do you have a fever?"

"Ah?"

This sudden intimate contact made Hinata's mind go blank with a 'boom'. All the blood in her body rushed to her head, and her heart pounded so hard it felt like it would leap out of her throat.

"Na-Naruto…" She could only utter that much before her vision went black, and her body softly fell backward.

"Hinata, are you alright? Hinata!"

Naruto was startled. Just like when he carried Sasuke, he skillfully carried Hinata on his back.

"Sasuke, I'm taking Hinata to the hospital first, wait for me!"

Sasuke didn't reply, because he too had encountered a small problem.

Compared to Hinata, Sakura was much more direct.

She took a deep breath, her pink short hair fluttering in the breeze. "Sasuke, when you come back, let's go on a date."

Sasuke frowned. These young girls were so annoying, always wanting to go on dates.

Before, when he and Naruto were training at Satoshi's house, Sakura and Hinata often secretly watched them.

Hinata was too shy to give things directly to Naruto, so she had Sakura hand them over. And after Sakura delivered them, she would insist on dragging him to eat sushi.

Sasuke always used the excuse that Satoshi wouldn't approve or that it would disrupt their training.

However, that big idiot, the white-haired one, acted as if he had a screw loose, saying things like "That's enough for today, don't keep your beloved girls waiting too long."

Are you kidding me? What beloved girls? Such nonsense.

He subconsciously glanced at the culprit not far away, who was leisurely eating sunflower seeds, looking as if he was enjoying a good show.

The most important thing he had to do now was to defeat this man after he returned from his training.

Satoshi looked up and met Sasuke's gaze. "Why are you looking at me? It's not like I'm the one going on a date with you."

Sasuke: Get lost!

"Sasuke-kun, did you hear that?" Sakura was still persistently asking, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.

"Be sure to tell me in advance when you come back so I can make arrangements. We could go to the new dessert shop on Tanzaku Street, or watch the fireworks display, or..."

Sasuke scratched his head. "Got it. I'm leaving now."

He almost fled, hurrying towards his white-haired teacher who infuriated him.

He came before Satoshi, looking seriously at the man who had beaten him up hundreds of times and said, "A year from now, I will come back and defeat you."

Unexpectedly, Satoshi shrugged and tossed a few more sunflower seeds into his mouth. "Come back and pass the Chunin Exams first."

"Tch, got it."
