Most of Vikram's skin had sloughed away; even his eyelashes were gone. He lunged to seize the body, trying to shake it awake—but the instant his fingers brushed it, they liquefied, melting from both hands in an instant. He staggered back a step.

Tears began to flow from Vikram's eyes.
{But how could they last in such high temperatures?}
Moras perched up there with his eyes closed. Suddenly, all the hair on his body stood on end, and fear gripped him. He jumped down from that mountain.
**[Moras was sitting up]**
With tears welling in his eyes, he shifted into his black form. The black figure ahead of him also began oozing thick, dark liquid.
**[The black figure beside him transformed into black form as well.]**
Moras plummeted at breakneck speed, tumbling head over heels in wild rolls before finally steadying himself. Then, at full tilt, he sprinted downward.
{Moras's face slammed hard onto the mountain.}
The water stopped boiling, but it was still hot.
{The black blood could be seen flowing out from within Vikram and entering that black body.}
That black blood kept flowing out of Vikram for 16 seconds.
As blood flowed, Vikram flexed his hands—they were completely healed.
**[Vikram looked at himself (he was still alive).]**
Not just the hands—his entire body was restored. The burning was gone; he didn't even feel the heat anymore.
He saw Rdour, his body now in black-blood form. Vikram knew what was coming, so he shot upward as fast as he could.
Vikram strained with every ounce of strength.
