Chapter 132: The Azure Dragon Descends!
Deserted Island Battlefield
The island was a graveyard. Smoke billowed into the sky, the remnants of a fierce battle.
The deck of the pirate ship was ablaze, charred wood and broken limbs painting a grim picture of death.
The scent of blood and scorched flesh was thick in the air.
The Tyrannosaurus Pirates, once feared across the seas, were now utterly broken. Aside from the three core members barely holding on, the rest of the crew were dead or dying, scattered like leaves in a storm.
Vice Captain Gal, still in his Stegosaurus-Human form, was on one knee. His grey-blue scales were cracked and shattered, a gruesome sword wound on his shoulder exposing bone, blood gushing like a fountain.
He gasped for air, daring not to look away. The green-haired swordsman was still advancing, his three blades singing like demons hungry for souls.
Roronoa Zoro's gaze was icy. He moved like a stalking leopard, Yubashiri, Sandai Kitetsu, and Shusui glinting with lethal intent.
Nearby, the battle was just as brutal.
'Phantom' Selena had crashed into the wreckage of a mast. Her cat-eyes were unfocused, her left arm hanging uselessly. A precise slash ran from her shoulder to her waist, splitting flesh and spilling blood like ink.
She had tried to melt into the shadows countless times, but the black-haired swordswoman's intent locked onto her every time, cutting her down in an instant.
Kuina stood atop the rubble, Wado Ichimonji in hand. Her expression was cold, her torn uniform fluttering like a war flag.
She said nothing. Her eyes saw only the target and the path. Her sword moved with her heart, her killing intent silent.
And in the center of the storm—
"BOOM—!!!"
A massive, dragon-like body slammed into the scorched earth, kicking up a cloud of dust and debris!
It was the captain, 'Tyrant King' Drake, user of the Dragon-Dragon Fruit, Ancient Zoan, Model: Indominus Rex.
He was battered and broken. His chest was caved in, his fangs shattered, blood pouring from his mouth and nose. His breath rattled like broken bellows.
His opponent stood over him—a humanoid dragon covered in pink scales. Luffy!
Wind and Haki swirled around him, his dragon eyes burning with terrifying rage and battle lust!
"YOU BASTARD WHO MADE ME MISS LUNCH—!!!"
Luffy roared like thunder, his voice nearly shattering eardrums. His claws clenched, and every strike carried the pressure of a collapsing mountain! Drake was beaten back step by step, completely defenseless!
Each collision felt like it would tear the island apart!
Blood and fire wove together, rage and swords danced in unison.
This was a hunt belonging to the victors. The losers had been pushed to the edge of death!
Meanwhile, High Above the Northern Seas
Storm clouds churned violently, lightning snake-dancing through the darkness. The sea of clouds roiled like an angry ocean.
Within the thick fog, a colossal Azure Dragon coiled, its pressure sweeping across ten thousand miles.
Scales covered in lightning, tail whipping up storms, its majesty dominating all directions!
It was Kaido of the Beasts, in his full Azure Dragon form, soaring through the clouds.
"Wororororo—!!"
His laughter rolled down from the heavens like thunder, causing waves to crest on the sea below!
Following closely was a streak of black shadow—King the Conflagration, head of the All-Stars, in his Pteranodon form. His flaming wings tore through the sky like whips of fire.
"Big Bro Kaido!" King flew alongside, his voice low with a hint of exasperation. "We're just recruiting a few new Ancient Zoan rookies... did you really need to come personally?"
Kaido's dragon head tilted, his eyes hazy with drink but flashing with a terrifying light.
"King... you're too serious."
He slurred drunkenly, but his voice still boomed like a heavenly bell. "Ancient Zoans... I love 'em!"
He roared at the sky, suddenly spewing a stream of scorching Dragon Breath! The cloud sea burned, lightning intertwining, the very firmament trembling!
"More importantly..." He sniffed heavily, scales rippling. "The wind today... is interesting."
"I have a feeling—"
"I'm going to run into something fun today!!!"
His roar, accompanied by thunder, swept the world, scattering sea birds and crashing waves against the shore!
Back on the Battlefield
The Tyrannosaurus Pirates were all but annihilated. Only Drake, Gal, and Selena remained, barely standing amidst the corpses and wreckage.
Flames licked at the ship like tongues from hell.
—But the Dragon in the sky arrived with thunder!
The clouds above churned violently. The battlefield changed instantly!
"ENEMY ATTACK!!! LUFFY, ZORO, KUINA!!!"
Zephyr's roar exploded like a thunderclap, shaking the entire island!
The three fighters, currently suppressing their opponents, snapped their heads up—
CRACK-BOOM—!!!
"ROAR—!!!"
The clouds tore open. A beam of destructive Dragon Breath, a mix of red and purple energy, fell from the zenith like divine punishment! It pierced the clouds, carrying the wrath of thunder straight to the earth!
Zephyr's eyes flashed. He crossed his arms, Armament Haki instantly coating them to the fingertips!
"BANG!!!"
He stomped, shattering the deck of his own warship. The vessel sank three feet into the water, the sea spraying up like a funnel!
"STOP—RIGHT—THERE!!!"
"BOOOOOM—!!!"
Zephyr launched himself into the sky like a meteor, meeting the pillar of Dragon Breath with his bare fists!
In that moment, the battlefield felt split by a titan. Fire shot into the sky, the sea blasted into hundred-meter waves by the heat, debris and bones tumbling in the foam!
The wave of fire exploded like an eclipse, white light swallowing all vision!
Rocks flew, winds howled. Luffy and the others were nearly knocked off their feet, forced back dozens of meters by the shockwave, the ground cracking beneath them!
"What... what kind of power is this?" Zoro's pupils shrank, his face grim.
"Something's coming from the sky!" Luffy roared, clenching his claws, golden eyes blazing!
Just as they looked up—
"SWISH—!!!"
A fireball burst from the clouds, aiming straight for the off-balance Zoro!
"Imperial Flaming Wings!!!"
King's surprise attack descended!
"Zoro, look out!!!" Kuina screamed, stepping forward to block!
Zoro twisted violently, trying to bring his swords up to defend, but it was too late—
"BOOM!!!—"
The fireball slammed into Zoro's chest! The scorching heat and explosion sent him flying dozens of meters, smashing into a distant cliff face!
CRASH! Rock shattered, dust billowing!
"ZORO!!!" Luffy roared, veins bulging.
"Don't move recklessly!" Kuina stood in front of him, her eyes cold as ice. "The enemy is above!"
High in the sky, storm clouds surged. Lightning ran like serpents!
A massive shadow slowly emerged, poking out from the rolling thunderclouds—
It was a dragon that blotted out the sun!
Its body wound for thousands of meters, scales like armor, whiskers floating. In its eyes shone drunkenness and a lust for battle!
It was the Governor-General of the Beast Pirates—Kaido of the Beasts!
He hovered in the sky, looking down at the battlefield like a god descending, his pressure covering thousands of miles!
"Worororororo—!!!"
The dragon's laughter rolled down with the thunder!
"I knew it... my hunch was right today!"
"You brats—are really interesting!!!"
Flame and thunderclouds churned, the entire sky seemingly trembling!
Beside him, a shadow with spread black wings and a tail of fire hovered—
King, in Pteranodon form, floated in the air, firelight reflecting off his black armor. His face was cold. "Zephyr... that old man is here too?"
He looked down, meeting Zephyr's unmoving gaze.
Zephyr stood at the bow of his ship, lightning still crackling on his fists, his face iron-hard. "Kaido. What do you want?"
The Azure Dragon laughed in response. "Wororororo—What do I want? To pick up some 'interesting recruits,' of course..."
"But now..."
He lowered his dragon head, raising a claw, wind swirling around his talons. "Seeing these Marine brats... I just want to have a fight with you!!!"
The wind picked up, thunderclouds boiled. The silence before the storm was about to be torn apart!
