I glanced to either side as two more men climbed up onto the top of the building, surrounding me.
"Surrender and come with us, woman. Show no resistance and his Majesty may deign to pardon your illegal use of Magic."
"Huh? Using Magic is illegal in this world? But wait, didn't you just use Magic to jump up here?" I inquired with a frown, as I glanced at the first guy.
Hm, as usual, I don't have trouble talking to strangers if it's an antagonistic interaction, it's polite small talk that I can't handle. Wonder why I'm like this?
"Are you daft? Women aren't permitted to use Magic, don't pretend like you don't know such a basic law, wench," One of the others scoffed.
"Hm, perhaps it's different in the world we summoned these so-called Heroes from. How ludicrous. I can't imagine what kind of a heretical society they must come from."
