The tattooed men paused when they saw Nathan running, surprised when they recognized Louis. They didn't move until Louis and Nathan were out of sight.
Who would have thought they would encounter the boy they had kidnapped there? Louis had warned them never to show their faces in front of Nathan. But this situation was unexpected.
Meanwhile, Gabriel stood there with a confused look on his face. His brutal expression was no longer visible. He stared at the two men near the side gate.
"I'm coming!" he shouted, running toward the van.
"Gab, is that kid your friend?" one of the men asked.
Gabriel shook his head. "No. Do you know him?" He stared at the two men. "You guys aren't collecting a debt from him, are you?"
He was sure the two men had done something to scare Nathan.
The men shook their heads. They weren't about to reveal Salazar's secret mission, or pay for it with their necks.
