Chapter 19: Immortal Prison

## Part I: The Dragon's Pursuit

The single hour that separated **Valerian** from **Serafina** was a gulf measured in light-years. Valerian, still moving at the terrifying velocity enabled by **Charles's lightning essence**, was a furious, flickering shadow composed of black electricity and dark mist. He hit the **Milky Way's** outer halo and accelerated to full speed, driven by the knowledge of what his sister was about to unleash.

Valerian breached the target world's atmosphere—the planet that would later be called **Earth**—only to find the carnage already immense. Serafina, the crimson red dragon of fire, had begun her brutal, misguided conquest, and her first wave of Drakain hybrids was already engaged.

The initial confrontation was a slaughter. On the **first day of battle**, the hybrid armies of both siblings—composed of Stage 1 through 3 Drakain—clashed on the surface of the burning planet. They fought not for ideals, but for their dragon masters' ambitions, and they killed each other off to the last warrior. By sunset, only the two True Dragons remained, facing each other over the smoldering remains of their armies and the decimated native life.

The main battle raged for **three brutal days**. Serafina fought with the desperate fury of five million years of pent-up ambition, unleashing torrents of hellfire that turned continents into ash. Valerian met her with cold, intellectual precision, but the **siblings** knew each other's moves, and they were both weakening from the relentless fight. Valerian, the **Good Dragon**, knew he had one final, ultimate move that would require shattering his own mental buffer.

As the final light of the third day faded, Valerian's eyes began to flash wildly with **white electricity**, surging as if the very soul of Charles was struggling to break free. The sound of his own pain was lost in the vastness of the dying world, but his mind focused entirely on the truth: he needed Charles, the brother who had trusted him.

Valerian yelled, the word echoing across the desolate planet: "**IMMORTAL PRISON!**"

He opened his hands wide, and out of his body came a ghostly, translucent hologram of **Charles**. Serafina froze, the sight of her little brother for the first time in five million years shocking her to her core; the sight was so potent that her torrent of fire faltered.

Valerian and the ghostly form of Charles joined hands. Their six-foot-ten frames surged and grew, instantly transforming into **two five-mile-wide dragons**, one black and one white. The terrifying display of their combined, ultimate power shattered the remaining atmosphere. Then, a final transformation commenced.

They both looked toward their sister Serafina as crackling electric energy surrounded them. The white lightning of Charles was instantly swallowed by the blackness of Valerian's dark essence as the fused entity bolted toward her.

The combined form surrounded her six-foot-nine red dragonoid body with an inescapable cage of pure **black electricity**. Slowly, painfully, Serafina began to descend, the force of the combined Titan pushing her down toward the planet's core.

As the planet **Earth** swallowed her, she yelled, her voice vibrating the dying world: "**Why are you doing this to me, little brother? I only wanted to get out of our father's shadow!**"

Valerian's final words to her, delivered with the heavy finality of a god, were the truth that had haunted him for five million years: "**There isn't enough room in this universe for even our father, let alone two of him.**"

The electric prison, containing the essence of the crimson dragon, fused completely with the core of the planet Earth. The planet was now an eternal, silent jail, stripped of its ambient magic and forever scarred by the Drakain.
