They walked out of the oppressive Capitol and were instantly engulfed by the dazzling sunlight and deafening noise.
The square at the entrance had already become a mess.
The screams of fans, the shouts of reporters, and the sirens of police cars interwoven together.
Obviously, everyone knows about the incident that just happened in the hall.
"Mr. Stark! Excuse me, is what Mr. Henry just said true?!"
"Mr. Superman! Are you really going to destroy Hydra?!"
"Does Hydra really still exist? What does the Ministry of Defence have to say about this?!"
Countless microphones and recorders were stretched out towards them.
Faced with this situation, the Stark brothers were not at all panicked. Instead, they felt like they had returned to their most familiar home ground.
"Hey! Hey! Hey! Ladies and gentlemen! Calm down! Calm down!" Tony enjoyed the crowd's attention and smiled at the camera.
"I know you have a lot of questions, and I also know that my brother's way of appearing is a little different. But you have to understand that the men of our Stark family always like to express their opinions more directly."
"As for Hydra..." He paused, the smile on his face gradually faded, replaced by an unprecedented seriousness.
"That's not a lie, nor a conspiracy theory. It's a truth that has been covered up for decades. And starting today, we will uncover this truth."
Henry was more concise.
He took a pen from a girl who was about to faint from excitement and signed his name on a T-shirt with Stark's name on it. Then, he looked up at all the cameras around him and said something calmly.
"My hunt has begun."
As soon as he finished speaking, a custom-made extended-length commercial vehicle quietly parted the crowded crowd and stopped steadily in front of them. Happy immediately stepped forward and opened the door.
Amidst the flashing lights and enthusiastic cheers of fans, the group of five calmly got into the car.
The car door slowly closed, completely isolating the noisy world outside.
The inside of the car is like another world.
This kind of silence made the eardrums, which had been deafening just now, feel a little uncomfortable.
"I have to say, you bastard, are really getting better and better at stealing the limelight." Tony collapsed on the soft leather sofa as soon as he got in the car. He tugged at his tie and complained to Henry with a look of disgust.
"Do you know how many wise and humorous lines I prepared for today's hearing? And what happened? They were all ruined by you, a late-stage Chuunibyou who showed up out of nowhere!"
"Oh? Really?" Henry also leaned back on the sofa and closed his eyes.
"Does your brilliant line also include making Pepper and Happy nearly have heart attacks down there? I gotta say, Tony, you're much better at torturing your own people than you are at dealing with your enemies."
"That's called a tactical display of weakness! It's meant to trick the enemy into revealing more of their cards! Do you understand?!"
"All I saw was a duck that was almost cooked, with only its beak remaining tough."
Listening to their familiar, unconcerned bickering, Pepper felt her heart, which had been hanging in the air just a moment ago, finally settle back down. She shook her head helplessly and took out two bottles of ice water from the car refrigerator and handed them to each of them.
"Okay, could you two just be quiet for a moment?" she said weakly.
"I need to deal with the problem you two just created for me. This problem may be a huge problem that will cause the entire Stark Industries PR department to resign collectively."
Happy was concentrating on driving, but the corners of his mouth rose slightly uncontrollably.
Only Natasha.
She sat quietly in the corner, saying nothing, like a dutiful assistant.
But deep in her eyes, a huge wave was stirring.
Hydra.
The Winter Soldier.
The murder of Howard Stark.
Any of this information is enough to cause an earthquake within S.H.I.E.L.D.
And Henry Stark actually said it in front of the whole world.
What puzzled her even more was Tony's reaction.
He was not the least bit shocked, nor did he have the slightest doubt.
He was just complaining, complaining about the way Henry came out, complaining that Henry stole his thunder.
This can only mean one thing: he already knew this.
Therefore, the intelligence that the Stark brothers possessed far exceeded SHIELD's expectations.
They are like an iceberg floating on the sea, and what SHIELD has seen before may not even be the tip of the iceberg.
She felt her missions were becoming increasingly dangerous, and, admittedly, working at Stark Industries was much more enjoyable than being a secret agent. Who could have imagined that after all those years as a secret agent, her salary wouldn't even be as high as the bonuses she earned as an assistant at Stark Industries?!
I don't know where to start complaining. I don't know if the director stole all the bonuses; otherwise, why would the salary be so low?!
"So."
The bickering in the car came to a temporary halt. Tony took a sip of water and looked at Henry, and asked.
"What are you going to do next? Are you really going to hunt down every Hydra in the world and turn them into a puff of black smoke?"
"What else?" Henry asked in a matter-of-fact manner. "Are you going to keep them around for the New Year Celebration?"
"Okay." Tony shrugged.
"I just feel that this kind of simple and rough work is a little unworthy of your status as a great superman."
"Oh? Really?" Henry glanced at him.
"Then do you have any better suggestions?"
"Of course." Tony's eyes lit up instantly, and he called Jarvis.
"Jarvis."
The next second, a huge three-dimensional global map appeared on the holographic projection inside the car.
The map was densely covered with thousands of flashing red dots.
"This is..." Henry looked at the map, a little confused.
Tony's mouth curled up into a smug smile.
"While my lazy brother, who only knew how to bask in the sun in space, was enjoying his boring vacation, you, the hardworking and great brother, used my genius brain and Jarvis's decent computing power to build the global Hydra database."
"Each red dot represents a base, stronghold, or individual suspected of being connected to Hydra."
"Although most of this is still just unconfirmed speculation."
"But..." He paused and raised his eyebrows in a boastful tone.
"It's much more efficient than running around like a headless chicken, isn't it?"
Henry looked at the map quietly, at the thousands of flashing red dots on it.
He was silent for a long time before he spoke slowly.
"Well done."
Tony.... Once again, he felt like he had punched cotton.
"Well done?! This is just the tip of the iceberg; there are even more shocking things in the lab!" He raised his eyebrows.
"So, come on, Henry. You take care of this..."
"Okay, okay," Henry interrupted his impending rant.
"I know, I know. You're the best, you're the most amazing, okay? Mr. Tony Stark, the great creator of the future, the terminator of Hydra, which lucky red dot should we start with?"
Tony then smiled contentedly.
He reached out and tapped the holographic screen.
The map instantly zoomed in, and an abandoned military base located in the snow and ice of Siberia appeared before them.
"Here," Tony said, his eyes turning cold.
"According to some encrypted documents left by my father."
"This is where the Winter Soldier was frozen."
