Like the wailing of a vengeful spirit, the Siberian wind whipped up a cloud of ice and snow, mercilessly lashing this forgotten white wasteland. Beneath this deadly land, a massive military base, like a steel behemoth buried deep within history, lay dormant.
Two streams of light tore through the dark sky, one golden-red, the other pure black, hovering directly above the base with unstoppable momentum.
Tony's voice came through the suit's speakers, with his usual accent.
"This place looks colder than Senator Stern's face. Jarvis, scan the structure below and find me a more stylish entrance. I don't want to go in through some damn ventilation duct, which will seriously affect the overall beauty of my work of art."
"Scanning, sir." Jarvis's gentle voice sounded.
"The underground structure has been detected to be exceptionally strong, consisting of multiple layers of reinforced concrete and titanium alloy. The recommended entrance is in Area 4 on the east side, where the gate structure is relatively weak."
"Weak? I don't think so." Henry's voice sounded. He crossed his arms and hovered beside Tony.
His eyes flickered. In his eyes, this base seemed to have no secrets.
That's right, this is one of the abilities he gained during this trip to sunbathe. Henry calls it super vision.
In his eyes, the entire base became transparent. Unlike Superman's simple X-ray vision, he seemed to be able to adjust it freely. He could not only see through things, but also see the human body's veins and energy bodies.
"Based on my naked eye scan, this entire base is like a tin can that's been welded shut. I think any attempt to enter through the gate is simply foolish."
"Wait, naked eye scanning? Have you awakened some new ability? Well, what do you think, my stupid brother?" Tony replied bluntly.
"Do you want to use your brain, which is nothing but a cheeseburger besides muscles, to physically communicate with this titanium alloy door weighing dozens of tons?"
"Communication?" Henry smiled when he heard that.
"Oh, no, Tony. I never communicate with inanimate objects."
"I only know how to..." He paused, "Order them."
Before he finished speaking, he stopped talking nonsense and swooped down like black lightning!
He didn't even make any attacking gesture, but simply used his body to slam into the ice- and snow-covered dome of the base below!
"BOOM!!!!"
There was a deafening roar, as if it was going to overturn the entire Siberia.
The earth is shaking!'
The icebergs are collapsing!
This steel fortress, dormant for decades, was as fragile as a biscuit model before the impact of Henry's absolute strength! The reinforced concrete and titanium alloy outer Layer, several meters thick, was like being struck by an invisible giant hammer, instantly cracking inch by inch, and then collapsed inward with a loud bang. A huge hole with a diameter of over 20 meters and a bottomless depth appeared in the centre of the base.
Tony was suspended in mid-air, staring in amazement at the scene below that looked like it had been hit by a meteorite.
The corners of his mouth twitched uncontrollably under the mask of his Armor.
"Fuck."
After a long time, he finally squeezed out a word of dissatisfaction from between his teeth.
"I hate you, you destructive bastard."
"You're just jealous that I'm more efficient than you." Henry's voice sounded in the headset channel.
"By the way, Tony, what are you still dawdling about up there for? Are you waiting for those Hydra guys to come out and roll out the red carpet for you?"
Tony cursed, then immediately adjusted his posture, transforming into a stream of golden-red light and rushing through the entrance Henry had opened. The interior of the base was no longer dead silent.
Henry's earth-shattering intrusion instantly activated the dormant fortress.
The shrill alarms wailed like the howling of hell, echoing in every corridor.
The red warning lights in the base flashed wildly, making the entire base look like the twitching innards of a giant beast.
"Intruder! I repeat, there is an intruder!"
"All combat units proceed to the central area immediately! Authorization to use lethal force!"
Rapid commands in Russian and German echoed through the base over the PA system.
Heavy alloy gates fell one after another, and Hydra soldiers wearing black combat uniforms and hideous masks, holding energy rifles that flashed with faint blue light, rushed in from all directions.
Their movements were coordinated and efficient.
"I must say, this welcome was much more enthusiastic than I had imagined."
Tony landed next to Henry. He looked at the energy gun muzzles that kept emerging from the darkness around him, but there was no tension in his tone. Instead, it was full of excitement.
"It seems like we've stirred up a hornet's nest. But I like it. At least, it's much more interesting than arguing with an old fogy guy like Stern."
"A hornet's nest?" Henry looked around with cold eyes.
"No, Tony. It's just a slightly larger anthill."
"Hey! Don't steal my lines, you imitator!"
While they were bickering, the attack began.
"Fire!"
At a command, hundreds of dark blue energy beams poured towards them from all directions like a dense rainstorm!
The terrifying firepower density can instantly melt a main battle tank into a pool of molten iron!
"Be careful!" Tony shouted subconsciously as he was about to deploy an energy shield.
But Henry didn't move at all.
He stood there quietly, allowing the energy beams to bombard him.
"boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! "
The flames of the explosion instantly engulfed his figure!
"Henry!" Tony's heart suddenly tightened.
However, the next second, the exclamation that was about to come out was stuck in his throat.
When the flames died down, Henry was still standing there intact.
The black nano Armor did not receive even a scratch in the aftermath of the explosion, and not even a speck of dust got on it.
He was like a black reef that could not be shaken.
"All right."
Tony looked at him, who appeared unharmed, curled his lips, and tried hard to restore his dignity.
"I admit, your tin can's toughness is quite good. But real fighting doesn't just involve standing there and taking a beating. You have to be like this!"
Before he finished speaking, the thrusters behind him exploded!
The Armor instantly turned into a phantom and rushed into the formation of Hydra soldiers!
He was like a tiger rushing into a flock of sheep, and every attack was accompanied by the wailing of metal and the screams of soldiers!
The laser on his arm is like the Grim Reaper's scythe, and every swing can leave a hot red cut on the wall!
The micro-missiles on the shoulders whizzed out, accurately exploding into gorgeous flowers of death among the crowd!
"See?! This is art!" Tony's voice roared excitedly in the communication channel.
"A perfect blend of power and technology! Elegant! Deadly! And, handsome!"
Henry watched quietly.
Tony showed it off everywhere like a kid with a new toy, and he shook his head helplessly.
"It's too noisy," Henry said lightly.
Then he slowly raised his head.
A dazzling red light gradually appeared in his eyes, illuminating the area!
The next second, two red heat rays, thicker and hotter than Tony's lasers, burst out from his eyes!
No explosion, no roar.
There was only dead silence.
Two scarlet beams of light swept across the entire space in an unstoppable manner.
They silently passed through the bodies of every Hydra soldier, across the energy weapons in their hands, and across the solid alloy walls and bunkers.
"Swish!"
After a slight sound, the whole world seemed to be paused.
All the Hydra soldiers who were running, shooting, and roaring froze in place at the same moment.
Then, in Tony's shocked eyes, their upper bodies, along with the weapons in their hands and all the cover around them, slowly slid down along a smooth cut.
No blood, no screams.
There are only traces of instant carbonization at the cut.
On the first floor of the huge base, everything was cut in half, except for Tony, who was still floating in the air, and Henry, who was still standing in place.
The passage suddenly became quiet.
The shock brought by this scene was beyond words, allowing Tony to see Henry's strength more intuitively!
This is simply not a human being!!!
After a long time, Tony's voice finally sounded faintly.
"Fuck! You cheating bastard."
