This emotion dimmed Steve's eyes.

He looked at Henry, his heart filled with mixed emotions.

He knew that what this young man was about to do next was inevitably to settle scores.

He would show no mercy to Hydra.

And what can I, as someone from the future, do?

All I can do is use everything I know, and all the pain and failures I've experienced, to help...

Help them, guide them, and prevent them from repeating the mistakes of the future.

It's too late to salvage the situation with Bucky.

But he could no longer stand by and watch Tony, and everyone else in the world, go down that same path.

He looked at Tony, who was working on the Detox project, and at Henry, who was full of vigor and ready to unleash a massacre.

Li silently made a decision in his heart.

His time may have passed.

But the battle for Captain America is far from over.

Steve took a deep breath.

The last trace of confusion in his eyes vanished.

He is now more determined than ever before.

He has been fighting all his life.

For the weak, for justice, for the nation, for the world, and even for the universe.

He thought that the moment he chose to stay in the past and grow old with Peggy, his battle had already begun.

Full stop.

He became a stowaway of history, a silent guardian, and a coward.

Yes, coward.

He watched helplessly as history unfolded according to the trajectory he knew, and as tragedy after tragedy unfolded.

He used the high-sounding excuse of not being able to interfere with the timeline to confine himself.

Then he comfortably enjoyed the peace that didn't belong to him.

But was it really peaceful?

No.

It was torture.

Every time I see Howard's name in the news, every time I hear news about S.H.I.E.L.D., every midnight...

Dream back.

Every time he thinks of Bucky's desperate eyes as he fell off the cliff, his heart is troubled.

Now, Henry has dragged him out of his self-deceptive dream.

He told him that Bucky's tragedy had ended in another way.

He told him that Tony's fate was to be one of sacrifice, but he wanted to change it.

He couldn't hide any longer.

For Peggy, for Bucky, and for Tony who saved the universe with his life in another future.

He had to do something.

"Henry."

Steve's voice rang out, firm in tone.

Henry was about to leave when he heard the sound and stopped.

He turned around and raised an eyebrow.

"What's wrong, old man? Is there anything you want to say before you die? No, is there anything you want to say before you leave?"

This bastard.

Steve shook his head helplessly in his mind.

He swore that of all the people he had ever met in his life, no one was better at irritating people than these two brothers.

Meanwhile, Tony also looked up from the data.

His brows were furrowed, and his eyes showed displeasure.

His mind was completely absorbed in the models; anything that interrupted his train of thought was, in his view, no different than adding sand to a reactor.

"I said, Captain," Tony said, shrugging.

"Can't you wait until I've finished building this energy field model before you talk to me? I'm currently working on a great project..."

"The test... and you look like an illustration straight out of my high school history textbook. There might be some generational gap between us."

This is Tony.

Even when expressing concern, he habitually arm himself with a sharp tongue first.

He really wanted to know what Steve wanted to say, but he just couldn't control his mouth.

Arrogance is ingrained in his genes.

"Tony," Steve said, ignoring his rudeness and giving him a gentle look.

"I assure you, what I'm about to say is probably more important than the model in your hand."

He ignored Tony and turned his attention back to Henry.

"You're going to clean up the remnants of Hydra," Steve asked firmly.

"Am I right?"

Henry shrugged, neither confirming nor denying, which was tantamount to acquiescing.

This old guy has finally figured it out.

I thought he was going to be just a background character until Peggy regained her youth.

It seems that Bucky's death had a significant impact on him.

That's fine.

A Captain America who possesses complete memories of the future and has experienced the trials of Endgame—his value goes far beyond that.

Just as a mascot

So simple.

His brain is a living encyclopedia.

How can we let such a talented person sit idle?

We must let him shine and contribute to the Stark family's business!

Working 007 is a blessing, working 996 is the foundation; this is the awareness a qualified employee should have.

"What's your plan?" Steve continued, his eyes sharpening.

"Just charge straight in? Blow the Hydra base to the heavens?"

"What else?" Henry shrugged and answered casually.

"Are we supposed to hold a tea party with them to discuss whether their evil ideologies are contrary to human development, and then persuade them to lay down their weapons and immediately become Buddhists?"

"Please, Captain, I'm not a community mediator. The most effective way to deal with these cockroaches is to use insecticide to wipe them out, nest and all, and burn their nest too, to eliminate the problem permanently."

"I agree with your ultimate goal." Steve nodded slowly, a response that surprised both Henry and Tony.

They had assumed that this veteran, who had dedicated his life to justice, would preach to them about procedural justice and human rights.

"But," Steve's tone shifted, his voice becoming low.

"Your method is too crude."

"Rough?" Henry laughed out loud as if he had heard a joke.

"Captain, do you have some misunderstanding about my abilities? I can fly all over the world in a second and turn all their bases into fireworks over the Pacific Ocean. That's called efficiency, not crudeness."

"And then what?" Steve asked calmly.

"What happens after the bombing? You'll kill hundreds or thousands of Hydra soldiers, but you'll miss out on even more. Hydra isn't just a military organization; it's an ideology, an ideology that infiltrates human society like a virus. You can't kill an ideology with bombs."

"You blow up their bases, but you can't find their secret vaults hidden around the world. You kill their soldiers, but you can't catch the Hydra leaders hidden in the highest levels of government, financial giants, and tech giants."
