A car was about to hit Meera when she quickly covered her ears with both hands.
She screamed, "Aaa…!" — but suddenly, the car stopped.
Dr. Khurana, Anjali, Saba, and Sohan shouted, "Meera!" Everyone's breath got stuck in their throats.
Meera closed her eyes — and when she opened them again, she realized nothing had happened to her.
For five minutes, she couldn't believe she was actually safe.
Then she shouted angrily,
"Hey! What are you doing? Can't you see while driving? Such a big car, but no brains or eyes? Did you sell them to buy the car? Don't you dare come this way again! If anything had happened to me, what would my mother have done? Just because you drive an expensive car, you think you own the road?"
Hearing this, the man inside the car lost his temper. He rolled down the window and said,
"What did you say? Are you crazy? Learn to control your tongue!"
That man was none other than Rudra — the same Rudra from the office.
After what had happened there, he had left alone, driving furiously.
Meera snapped,
"Sit quietly, huh? First you hit me and now you're showing attitude? Teaching manners, are you? Look at yourself first — has no one taught you how to speak to women? You're totally uncivilized!"
Rudra replied, "I was driving fine! You came out of nowhere — like a cat!"
Meera shouted, "What did you say? Cat? I'm not a cat — you're the tomcat! Your whole family are tomcats! And your kids will be too!"
(How could anyone win an argument with Meera!)
Anjali whispered, "Meera, stop it, yaar! He's so handsome — for my sake, stop!"
Rudra yelled, "Miss, what nonsense are you saying? Do you even understand? Don't drag my family into this!"
Meera retorted, "And what if I do? What will you do then?"
Rudra said coldly, "You don't know who I am. If I lose my temper, you'll regret it!"
Meera mocked, "Oh really? Who are you then — some Rudra Pratap or what?"
Rudra smirked, "You guessed right. I am Rudra Pratap."
Meera laughed, "Heard that, everyone? He says he's Rudra Pratap! Ever seen your face in a mirror? A monkey looks better than you! Even if you're Rudra Pratap, what then — does this road belong to your father?"
Rudra, full of arrogance, said, "Yes! This road does belong to my father! I'll drive however I want. Normally, I don't argue with girls — otherwise, you'd have known who I am."
Saba couldn't take it anymore and stepped forward,
"Hey mister! If something had happened to my friend, I wouldn't have spared you! You'd be in a police station by now. You have no idea who I am!"
Rudra replied sarcastically, "Oh really? Commissioner's daughter, are you?"
Dr. Khurana stepped in to calm things down,
"Enough, Meera, Saba. That's enough. Sorry, sir, she got carried away. But you should've been more careful too."
Saba muttered, "If something had happened to Meera…"
Dr. Khurana sighed, "But nothing did, right? It was just an accident."
Sohan added, "Let it go now. Meera's fine, that's what matters."
Rudra said coldly, "You don't know what this will cost you."
Saba replied, "Oh really? Let's see who pays the price."
Just then, Rudra's phone rang. He answered, listened silently, then hung up.
Pointing his finger at Meera, he said, "I'll deal with you some other day. I have urgent work right now."
Saba shouted, "Why not today? What happened — scared?"
Rudra, fuming, got into his car and sped away.
Meera huffed, "What an arrogant man!"
Everyone agreed.
Anjali sighed dreamily, "But so handsome!"
Sohan and Dr. Khurana stood aside, wondering whether to laugh or cry at the girls' antics.
Meera turned to Sohan, "You didn't say anything! What if something had happened to me?"
Sohan chuckled, "Nothing would've happened to you. I was feeling bad for that poor guy! You both didn't even let him speak!"
Anjali giggled, "That's what I was saying too! You two went at him nonstop. Poor fellow."
Saba scowled, "Poor fellow? My foot! You just melt when you see a cute guy!"
Anjali grinned, "He was cute, though! You can't stay mad at a guy like that."
Saba teased, "Yeah, yeah — to you, every guy is handsome. Didn't you see how arrogant he was? He almost hit Meera and didn't even apologize!"
Dr. Khurana laughed, "You didn't even give him a chance to apologize! You all ganged up on him."
Everyone burst into laughter.
Meanwhile, Rudra was driving angrily. First, he had lost an important project that morning, and now this. His rage was boiling — if he'd had a third eye, it would have opened by now.
Suddenly, he slammed the brakes. The car stopped right in front of Gayatri Mansion.
A guard rushed to open the gate, but before he could, Rudra had already stepped out, his face burning with fury.
Everyone froze — no one dared to speak or even breathe loudly until Rudra disappeared inside.
He went straight to his room. The servants whispered among themselves, "What happened to sir today?"
Gayatri Mansion — that's where Rudra lives, far from his family. He lives alone, except for occasional visits from his cousin Anirudh, whom he loves like a brother — just like Lakshman loved Lord Ram.
Anirudh, unlike Rudra, was cheerful, talkative, and flirtatious.
That evening, Anirudh came home from the office, knowing his brother must be fuming.
He asked the caretaker, "Where's bhai?"
"He just went upstairs. He's really angry today. I'd advise you not to go there," said the caretaker.
Anirudh smiled, "I know what happened. I'll talk to him."
Ignoring the warning, he went to Rudra's room.
"Bhai, what's wrong? It's just one lost project…"
Rudra muttered, "Nothing. Go away, Anirudh. I want to be alone."
Anirudh teased, "Come on, I know you. You wouldn't be this angry just over a project."
Rudra snapped, "I said it's nothing!"
Anirudh sat down beside him. "I know it's your month-long hard work… but it's not just that, is it? It's about a girl, right?"
Rudra froze mid-sentence.
"A girl?" Anirudh grinned. "Who is she? My future sister-in-law? You never told me!"
Rudra shot him a glare that immediately silenced him.
"There's no girl," Rudra said firmly.
Anirudh chuckled, "Oh really? You, who hates women, suddenly fighting with one? When did this happen?"
Rudra was furious, but he knew Anirudh wouldn't stop unless he told him everything.
So, he narrated the whole incident with Meera.
By the end, Anirudh was laughing so hard he was holding his stomach. "So that girl actually shouted at you? Mr. Rudra Pratap — scared of a girl! I never thought I'd see the day! I have to meet her!"
Rudra growled, "Anirudh…" in such a tone that Anirudh instantly stopped laughing — but only for a second.
"Brother, really, introduce me to her someday!" he said and ran out of the room laughing before Rudra could respond.
Rudra fumed, "You'll pay for this, Anirudh. And as for that girl — I won't spare her either."
He stormed into the washroom in anger.
Meanwhile, Meera and her friends were still joking about the incident, laughing at Rudra's arrogance.
Their nurse training was about to begin the next day — the start of their final-year internship.
Saba said, "From tomorrow, we start our hospital training. We'll find out which patients we're assigned to."
Meera nodded, "Yes, it's just one month of practical training."
Anjali grinned, "I hope I get assigned to a hot guy!"
Saba rolled her eyes, "There you go again!"
Meera laughed, "Don't worry, you'll definitely get a nice guy — about fifty years old!"
Saba burst out laughing and ran as Anjali chased her around the hostel.
After a while, both dropped on the sofa, exhausted.
Meera smiled, "You two will never grow up."
Anjali replied, "And we never should!"
But what will happen when Rudra and Meera meet again?
Who is leaking confidential information from Rudra's company — and why?
Will Rudra find the culprit? And if he does… what will he do?
