Chapter 23 - Chapter 23 – Canceling the Blood Pact

" I... I don't know, ge ge, but… but my father is in trouble right now. What should I do so that you'll help him?"

He Xiao Sing asked anxiously. She remembered that she had made Mo Tien Wang promise not to harm anyone from Kun Lun Sect. But now, Li Xu Xian was in danger. He Xiao Sing no longer cared about the contents of that pact — she would do anything to save her father.

"If you want me to help your father, you must cancel our blood pact. Are you willing to do that, Xiao Sing?"

Mo Tien Wang asked with a sly smile. He could have saved Li Xu Xian without hurting Ong Hai San, but he didn't want to waste this opportunity. Though he was willing to protect He Xiao Sing for life, he despised being bound by a blood pact. As a demon, he was used to acting on his whims and hated being forbidden to do evil. Besides, he still held a grudge against all the righteous sects, including Kun Lun Pai. That's why Mo Tien Wang wanted to use this situation to dissolve their blood pact.

"Alright, ge ge, as you wish. I'll cancel our blood pact."

He Xiao Sing agreed without hesitation. She then recited a series of ancient incantations, bit her hand, and let Mo Tien Wang drink her blood. In that instant, the blood pact between them was erased.

Mo Tien Wang didn't expect He Xiao Sing to agree so easily. Though he was pleased to be freed from the blood pact, a small disappointment grew in his heart. He felt that He Xiao Sing placed Li Xu Xian above everything — that Li Xu Xian's place in her heart was far greater than his. A hint of jealousy stirred within him.

"Ge ge, please... help my father. I've already canceled our blood pact. Once we get out of here, I won't bother you anymore. You can go wherever you want, and my father and I will never appear before you again."

He Xiao Sing knelt before Mo Tien Wang, hoping he would show mercy. She knew she no longer had any power to command him — their pact was gone. All she could do now was rely on his compassion.

Mo Tien Wang looked at her with clear displeasure. Not appear before him again? Did she intend to leave him?

"Don't you dare to dream of leaving me, Xiao Sing! You're mine. Once we get out of this place, you'll come with me. If you dare to refuse, I'll force myself upon you — I'll make you my own woman!"

He Xiao Sing's face turned crimson at his words. Embarrassment and shock filled her heart. She never imagined Mo Tien Wang would truly desire her. She had thought he would leave her the moment their pact was broken. She never expected the opposite — that he wanted her even more.

"I understand, Tien Wang ge ge. I promise I'll follow you wherever you go. So please… save my father."

Mo Tien Wang felt greatly satisfied by her submission. The girl truly knew how to win his heart. To show his sincerity, he immediately decided to intervene and help Li Xu Xian.

At that moment, Li Xu Xian was already being pushed to his limits by Ong Hai San's relentless attacks. Though he tried to defend himself, he was reaching his limit, his body already bearing several brushes of Ong Hai San's blows.

Seeing Li Xu Xian cornered, Ong Hai San intensified his attack. He planned to capture Li Xu Xian and use him to threaten He Xiao Sing. He was certain that if he succeeded, she would surrender immediately.

"Give up, Xu Xian! You can't win against me! TAKE THIS!!"

Ong Hai San unleashed his deadly technique toward Li Xu Xian's chest — but before the strike could land, his wrist was suddenly seized by Mo Tien Wang.

"AGHHH!!!"

Ong Hai San screamed in agony as his hand burst into blue flames. The hand gripped by Mo Tien Wang was instantly engulfed in fire that burned hotter than any mortal flame. The smell of scorched flesh filled the air, and soon the bone beneath became visible. The azure fire devoured everything in moments.

Fearing for his life, Ong Hai San used his inner energy to sever his burning arm. Only then did the flames stop spreading. He could only stare at his severed limb in terror.

"Hahaha! How does it feel to lose a hand? Should I take the other one too?"

Mo Tien Wang mocked him with cruel laughter, relishing the sight of Ong Hai San's pale, terrified face. His fear only made Mo Tien Wang more delighted.

"D… DON'T COME ANY CLOSER!!!"

Ong Hai San trembled as Mo Tien Wang advanced, that wicked smile never fading. The horrors from eighty years ago flashed through Ong Hai San's mind — the countless lives lost at Mo Tien Wang's hands.

Ignoring his pleas, Mo Tien Wang walked closer, savoring every step as his victim's fear deepened.

"AGHHH—LET ME GO, YOU BASTARD!!!"

Suddenly, He Xiao Sing's terrified scream echoed from behind. When Mo Tien Wang turned, he saw Yang Wan Tong trying to seize her. In a blur, Mo Tien Wang darted forward and wrapped his hand around Yang Wan Tong's neck.

"F...Forgive me... please forgive m—AGHHHH!!!"

Just like Ong Hai San, Yang Wan Tong's body was instantly consumed by the blue flames. But unlike Ong Hai San, he couldn't escape Mo Tien Wang's grip. The fire spread rapidly across his entire body, and within seconds, he was reduced to ash.

He Xiao Sing trembled at the sight. She hadn't realized how terrifying Mo Tien Wang's power truly was. A shiver of fear crept into her heart. She began to wonder whether freeing Mo Tien Wang had been the right decision after all.

"Xiao Sing, are you alright, my child?"

Li Xu Xian staggered toward her, his steps unsteady. He had wanted to protect her himself, but his injuries were too severe — Mo Tien Wang had reached her first.
