Chapter 17 - The Great Chase of Magic City

I lowered my head, the chubby hand covering my face still didn't come down. Taking advantage of their inattention, I directly squeezed out from the gap. My little feet ran as fast as if they were oiled.

"Where is Shiau? I don't believe the brothers can't catch up with me! If we can't catch a little kid like him today, then what's the point of all our efforts?"

"Where is my precious son!?"

"Mom, are you here!? Quick, quick, quick! My dad's fans — hurry and catch up!"

The chase battle with fire support resumed, but this time the number had risen to hundreds of people. The three bodyguards closely followed the young master, transforming into human shields as the crowd approached.

Then hundreds of people directly knocked the three down like migrating wild oxen. The bodyguards lay on the ground silently shedding tears. Their handsome faces were now marked with several shoeprints.

The entrance of the elementary school was in chaos. The shouting and screaming continued without stopping. This scene left the parents picking up their children in shock.

Sheren Ru, in the car across the street, wearing a mask and sunglasses, carefully not noticing the school gate, still didn't notice the figure of his younger brother. This really made him anxious.

At this moment, he suddenly noticed a large crowd rushing towards him. He took off his sunglasses, furrowed brows. The crowd was vast and mighty — a dark and dense mass, looked like at least two to three hundred people. The most important thing was the little boy striding ahead, who seemed to be his own brother.

As I ran, I couldn't help but complain, "Is it necessary to chase so desperately!?"

I quickly rushed towards my sister. The running legs had already turned into a blur, but the pursuing army behind was relentless. It seemed they wouldn't give up until they caught me.

I ran to the car and pulled the door handle hard. "Holy cow, the car door is locked from the inside!"

I anxiously pounded on the car window. Who understands my feelings at this moment? My family had such a dangerous time — sister won't open the door for me!?

Sh Shin Ru just seemed a little dazed. Seeing the anxious look on my little brother's face, he frantically unlocked the stubborn car door. Although the door was finally unlocked, it was already too late — the crowd surged towards the car.

The crazy scene shocked Sher Shinu. I cried out in frustration, "My sister set me up and left me with just a few words!"

I continued to run forward. Sherin Ru looked embarrassed, as if she had caused trouble for her little brother. "My little brother shouldn't blame his sister, right?" He silently comforted himself, then started the car and drove towards the crowd.

"Good boy, don't be afraid! Mom will help you! Don't run away, we won't eat you!"

"Oh my, how are you so fast!?"

"Good boy, I'm your dad fan, not a paparazzi! I'm sulking and going back to drink milk — do I look like a fool to you!?"

Sure Shinu could only follow carefully and avoid bumping into people. It's really too aggrieved. He silently prayed for his little brother.

On a certain street in the Magic City—

"Uncle and Aunt, please make way!"

A quite loud crane call came from the crowd, causing confusion among the people. I shuttled crazily through the crowd with agile steps. Before the people on the pedestrian street could react, the heavy footsteps came from the distance.

"Hurry! Hurry! Hurry! It's just up ahead!"

"Oh no, they've been chasing for two blocks already!"

"Can the little ancestor calm down!?"

"It's on this street, quick!"

The crowd on the pedestrian street looked puzzled. I saw more than 300 people rushing towards us.

"Wow!" The crowd all made way, afraid of being knocked over.

The thundering footsteps echoed throughout the pedestrian street. After the crowd rushed past, the bystanders just breathed a sigh of relief — another round of thundering footsteps came.

"They're coming again!"

Looking ahead, I saw a neat formation of black-clad bodyguards running towards us.

"The young master is just up ahead! Hurry! Those who are following behind the young master — if anything goes wrong, you will be held accountable!"

The crowd quickly made way again. The bodyguards couldn't help but secretly complain in their hearts. Today was really strange — playing cat and mouse!

At this moment, in the dark alley, a pair of mice were eating next to the trash can. Suddenly, the ground trembled slightly. The densely packed crowd passed straight over them. After the crowd left, only one mouse survived against the wall. The other one had been stomped into a pancake.

She slowly crawled to the side of the mouse, emitting a squeaky, miserable cry as if lamenting. Suddenly, another sound of footsteps came — another mouse pancake appeared on the ground.

"All right, all right, all right — count me today!"
