Chapter 37 - Blood Debt

"Shia—HEY! You're black now! Hahaha!"

Shiaa walked over and couldn't help covering his mouth as he laughed.

Shiai blew out a ring of smoke, struggling to stand up as he glared angrily at his little master.

"Shiai, are you really a dog?" Shiaa patted the dust off his clothes, raised his eyebrows, and said playfully, "Shia Hei, grow bigger. Carry me—we're saving my sister."

Shiai was unwilling, but he didn't dare resist.

My current master could probably kill me with one finger… Better not provoke him.

Thirty years east of the river, thirty years west of the river—don't underestimate this poor dog. One day, I'll crush him and get my revenge.

With that thought, Shiai's body rapidly expanded, becoming the size of a tiger in the blink of an eye.

Shiaa flipped onto Shiai's back, flashing a mouthful of white teeth.

"Shia Hei—charge!"

The two of them rushed toward the enemy base. Bullets and missiles rained down endlessly, but all of them were intercepted by the Golden Crow Flying Sword.

When they were within one hundred meters, a massive steel gate appeared before them, towering and unbreakable.

If it were an ordinary Grandmaster or even a tank, breaking through would've been impossible.

But today, they were facing Wang Shiaa.

A cunning smile curved his lips as he gripped the Golden Crow tightly and casually slashed out a sword energy.

Clang!

The sword energy collided with the gate, leaving a deep sword mark.

Seeing it wasn't broken, Shiaa struck twice more.

This time, the giant steel gate shattered, opening a gap just large enough for them to pass through.

"Charge!"

They rushed straight into the base.

Behind the gate, the streets were eerily empty.

"Shia Hei," Shiaa muttered, "the forty-eighth stratagem—the Empty City Strategy."

His divine sense spread outward. All the soldiers were hiding on the far side of the base.

However, his brows suddenly furrowed.

There were more than a dozen presences hiding nearby.

"Stop hiding," Shiaa shouted calmly. "I see you. Come out."

Silence.

No one responded.

Shiaa extended his hand toward an ordinary wooden barrel.

"Thunder-Inducing Finger."

His slender fingers condensed lightning rapidly. A massive thunderball, three meters in diameter, formed instantly and blasted forward.

BOOM!

The barrel exploded.

The superhumans hiding inside were electrocuted and knocked unconscious on the spot.

The remaining hidden figures were horrified.

This mysterious young man was far too strong.

"Still not coming out?" Shiaa said impatiently. "I don't like playing cat and mouse. Don't force me to electrocute you."

As soon as he finished speaking, more than a dozen figures leapt out from all directions.

"Brothers, give it everything!"

Fireballs, purple lightning, giant rocks—countless attacks surged toward Shiaa, aiming to kill him in one strike.

"Tsk."

"Golden Armor—activate."

A brilliant golden armor enveloped his body.

BOOM!

The attacks struck him head-on. The ground collapsed into a massive crater.

When the attackers landed, their faces turned pale.

The white-robed youth stood completely unharmed.

The golden armor shimmered under the sunlight, flawless and intact.

Shiaa sighed softly.

Can't you just give my sister back peacefully?

He raised his palm. Several small thunderballs shot out.

The superhumans convulsed violently from the electric shock and collapsed.

Fear spread instantly.

They couldn't win.

They absolutely couldn't win.

In a flash, Shiaa appeared in front of Austin.

Austin froze.

A handsome face smiled at him—and a bone-chilling cold surged through his heart.

This wasn't a human.

"Take me to my sister," Shiaa said gently.

"G-General… sure… I don't want to fight…"

Austin nodded numbly, then hurriedly shook his head in fear.

The Golden Crow Flying Sword pressed against his forehead.

"Hurry up. Take me to General Shure. I won't harm you. Trust me."

Austin's body went limp. His spirit completely collapsed.

The other superhumans stepped aside obediently, some casting sympathetic looks at him.

Under Shiaa's terrifying pressure, Austin had no choice but to lead the way.

Inside the control room, a blond man smashed a computer in rage. Broken glass cut his palm.

"Damn it! He's still alive!"

"Activate the backup plan! We retreat—now!"

Deep underground, Austin led Shiaa through room after room until they reached the end of a corridor.

His voice trembled. "Sir… General Wang is inside. I—I'm leaving."

Shiaa ignored him and opened the wooden door himself.

A foul stench rushed out.

Shiaa covered his nose, disgusted, and stepped inside.

"Sister…?"

His gaze swept the room.

Then—

His body froze.

In the corner, a woman was tied to a wooden rack.

Her clothes were in tatters.

Ten silver nails were driven through each of her ten fingers.

Her hair was disheveled, her body barely clinging to life. Dried blood stained the wood beneath her. Half of her silver teeth were shattered.

Whip marks, bruises, needle wounds, and scars covered her body.

Some wounds had already rotted, pus and maggots writhing within.

If not for the faint spiritual energy protecting her—and her sheer willpower—she would've died long ago.

Shiaa's entire body trembled.

Tears streamed down his face as he staggered forward.

"Sis… Sis… Shiaa has come to take you home…"

Little Black stepped forward silently. He quickly retrieved healing pills from his storage ring and fed them to her, infusing spiritual energy to stabilize her condition.

Carefully, Shiaa pulled out the silver nails one by one.

Each nail brought out a weak cry of pain.

Each time, he released spiritual energy to stop the bleeding and heal her wounds.

His hands shook uncontrollably.

Tears soaked his chest.

Those scars told the story of unimaginable torture.

When the last nail was removed, he gently lifted his sister and carried her out of the basement.

His once clear eyes were now completely blood-red.

Little Black followed closely behind, head lowered.

At the doorway, Shiaa's aura surged—terrifying and suffocating.

"Little Black," he said hoarsely, "take my sister away."

After placing her carefully on Little Black's back, Shiaa clenched his right hand.

The Golden Crow Flying Sword appeared instantly.
