Chapter 1 - prologue

Prologue — The Day the Sky Glitched

> "Good morning, Kanto! This is Renae from Kanto News Network, reporting live from the peaceful town of Pallet — which, for today, has become the very center of the Pokémon world!"

The voice of the reporter carried over drones and screens that floated above the Oak Ranch. The usually quiet fields were now a vibrant sprawl of research domes, training rings, and rows of excited attendees — a living mosaic of every region across the Pokémon world.

> "Today marks the opening of what's being called The Grand Pokémon Camp, hosted by none other than Professor Samuel Oak. It's the first ever interregional summit bringing together the greatest trainers, professors, and gym leaders to exchange Pokémon knowledge and experience!"

The Champions' Arrival

> "And here come the champions — legends of their respective regions!"

Descending from the sky atop a mighty Dragonite came Lance, his red cape trailing like a flame in the breeze.

A glint of silver followed — Steven Stone, calm and sharp as his Metagross.

Wallace arrived next, his elegance mirrored in every step.

From Sinnoh came the stoic brilliance of Cynthia, followed by Alder, whose laughter echoed across the crowd.

Then Diantha from Kalos, poised like a performer before her audience, and finally Leon from Galar, his Charizard roaring as if announcing the Champion of Champions.

> "An unbelievable sight — all champions gathered under one sky!" the reporter exclaimed.

The Professors Assemble

Beneath the shade of a tall oak tree, the world's foremost Pokémon scholars convened.

Professor Samuel Oak stood at the center, radiating both pride and humility. Beside him were:

Elm from Johto, Birch from Hoenn, Rowan from Sinnoh, Juniper from Unova, Sycamore from Kalos, Kukui from Alola, Magnolia from Galar, Samson Oak, and Cerise of Vermilion's Research Institute.

> "The greatest scientific gathering in Pokémon history," Renae narrated, "ready to share their knowledge like never before!"

The Gym Leaders

The next procession drew cheers from the gathered students and researchers alike.

From Kanto, Flint of Pewter, Lt. Surge of Vermilion, Koga of Fuchsia, and Sabrina of Saffron.

From Johto, Pryce of Mahogany and Clair of Blackthorn City.

Wattson and Flannery represented Hoenn, while Fantina represented Sinnoh.

The wise Drayden from Unova, the serene Gurkinn from Kalos, and finally from Galar, the mystical Opal and the dragon-hearted Raihan.

Each stood proudly, their partner Pokémon at their sides, their presence like living proof of mastery.

Distinguished Guests

> "And of course, some of the world's most respected names in the Pokémon community are in attendance."

The cameras turned to capture Norman of Hoenn — not yet a Gym Leader, but already a revered trainer — standing beside Reggie of Veilstone, Johanna of Sinnoh's Contest Hall fame, Lusamine of the Aether Foundation, and Mr. Stone, the visionary behind Devon Corporation.

> "Truly an assembly unlike any other!" the reporter announced, as applause filled the air.

A few months ago:-

In the small town of Postwick (Galar), the unbeatable champion of Galar, Leon, was lying peacefully on the grass as his younger brother, Hop, was playing with his trusted partner, Charizard. Leon has been the champion of Gala for quite some time now, and he was looking for something exciting. His thoughts wandered around, thinking of trainers who might be a challenge, but in the end all you got was boredom.

As Leon was thinking, his childhood friend and a Pokemon researcher, Sonia, approved and said, "Leon, you are the champion, why are you slacking off here?"

Leon looked at Sonia and said, "I am not slacking, I am contemplating."

Sonia asked, "contemplating!? what?"

Leon locked and smiled at her and said, "I'm contemplating my next challenge."

When Sonia saw Leon smiling like that, she immediately knew it meant trouble. So she said, "You are thinking of something idiotic, aren't you!?"

Leon answered Sonia, "What? No, I am just..."

But before Leon could finish his explanation, Sonia said to him, "Don't do anything for now; I have exciting news for you. I am sure you will like it."

Leon looked surprised, and even Hop became interested, so they asked, "What!?"

Sonia said, "My grandma received this later in the morning; it is an invitation to a grand summit organized by Professor Oak of the Kanto region."

Sonia continued talking, "Professor Oak has invited many Pokemon researchers and trainers from all around the world to share his research and learn more about Pokemon."

Leon's ear perked up, so he said, "That sounds interesting."

Even Hop seemed excited.

Sonia continued, "Apparently, they invited champions from other regions too, so I am sure you will get some good battles as well."

Present time:-

Leon has arrived in Kanto along with Sonia, Professor Magnolia, Hop, and Raihan. He had high expectations coming here, and looking around, he could see some strong Pokemon, so he knew that even if he doesn't get the battle he was looking for, one thing is sure that here he will get to learn many new things about wonderful creatures called Pokemon.

Professor Oak's Address

At last, the cameras turned toward the stage.

Professor Samuel Oak stepped up to the podium, adjusting his coat as the crowd hushed. His voice, warm and deep, carried over the fields of Pallet Town.

> "Hello there, welcome to Pallet Town.

I am Professor Samuel Oak, and today I have gathered all of you for a very special reason.

And that reason is people and Pokémon.

All of us here are associated with Pokémon in some way or form. Some of us study Pokémon, some battle alongside Pokémon, while some aspire to become Pokémon trainers.

But truth be told… we really don't know much about these wonderful creatures known as Pokémon.

For years, we have tried to learn about them — their behavior, their nature, their bonds with us — but we often kept that knowledge to ourselves, divided by regions and goals.

So today's main motto is simple: to share our knowledge with the next aspiring generation present with us.

To bridge our differences and pass down the wisdom of every region to all who seek to understand Pokémon better."

As Oak's words echoed, the crowd erupted into applause — champions nodded respectfully, professors exchanged smiles, and trainers of every age looked up at the man whose vision had brought them all together.

The moment felt timeless. Hopeful. Unified.

Until the sky changed.

A deep hum rippled through the air — faint at first, then growing louder.

The ground vibrated. Flying Pokémon faltered midair, chirping in confusion.

And above the Oak Laboratory, the clouds began to twist.

A spiraling rift — shimmering with violet and blue energy — tore open in the sky, warping the sunlight into fractured colors.

"Professor Oak… what's happening!?" cried Birch, shielding his eyes.

The champions tensed, instinctively readying their Pokémon.

Then, without warning, something emerged from the rift — glowing metallic shapes descending slowly like artifacts of another world.

When they landed, the light dimmed, revealing two objects:

a console, sleek and unfamiliar, and a large floating screen, humming faintly with static energy.

The crowd fell silent. Even the Pokémon stopped moving.

The screen flickered — once, twice — before glowing with strange golden letters that no one had ever seen before.

POKÉMON EXPLORARE

Gasps swept across the field.

Sycamore stepped forward. "Explorare…? That's not any known Pokémon project."

Lusamine's voice was low. "It fell out of a distortion. Could this be connected to the energy readings of Ultra Wormholes?"

Cynthia folded her arms. "This feels different… more deliberate."

Oak stared at the console — eyes wide, mind racing. "A… game? A Pokémon game?"
