"Please, have a seat," Guina said, settling gracefully into her chair. "You must be starving. It's lunchtime, after all—and I'm sure you've worked up quite an appetite after all the fun we just had." said Guina, gesturing toward the empty seats.
Sekai and Jessyka sat down across from her. As soon as they did, Jessyka clung tightly to Sekai's left arm.
"Jessy…"
"Quiet, Sekai. This was supposed to be our moment together! If that witch hadn't interfered, we'd be eating alone right now."
"It's kinda hard to eat like this, though… you're squeezing my arm," Sekai said, visibly embarrassed. He glanced at Guina, who only smiled in amusement.
Jessyka placed her hand on Sekai's cheek and turned his face toward her.
"Sekai, I want you to feed me!"
"What?!" Sekai reacted, uncomfortable with Jessyka's demand. "No way I'm doing that!"
"Oh yes, you are! I deserve a reward after everything I went through!"
"Go on, boy," Guina said with a soft chuckle. "I think she's earned it after all that trouble."
Sekai blushed at Guina's sweet smile.
"Okay… fine, I'll do it," he said, still red.
Jessyka frowned at how quickly Sekai had agreed after Guina's suggestion.
"See, Miss Jessyka? I helped you. Don't you think we could be friends now?" Guina said, smiling warmly.
"Shut up, you blonde snake! I didn't ask for your help!" Jessyka snapped.
Jim finished setting the table. There were all kinds of dishes—chicken, grilled pork, several types of salad, cooked rice, and pasta.
"Thank you, Jim. You may sit and eat while I talk to my guests." Guina said. Jim bowed politely, sat at the table, and began eating quietly.
How can there be this much food ready—and in the Student Council room, of all places? Sekai wondered. No way the school pays for a feast like this every day…
"Sekai! Aaaaah~" Jessyka opened her mouth, waiting to be fed. Sekai picked up one of the plates in front of him, cut a piece of pork with some difficulty, placed it on the plate, then cut a smaller piece. He picked it up with a fork and brought it to Jessyka's rosy lips. She savored the bite.
"Mmm! So good!" Jessyka said, her cheeks full and her face glowing with delight.
Sekai smiled in relief. Looks like she's calmed down a bit…
He glanced at Guina, who was smiling with her eyes fixed on Jessyka. When she noticed Sekai looking at her, she turned to him and gave a small wink and a soft smile—different from the one she had shown Jessyka.
Guina served herself and began to eat. Sekai also ate, alternating between feeding himself and feeding Jessyka. When they were done, Jim began clearing the table.
Jessyka grabbed Sekai's hand and made him pat her head. The good food, along with Sekai's gentle attention, had melted away most of her anger and stress. Still, Guina's presence bothered her.
"So, was it good?" Guina asked.
"Yes, very. Thank you, President… and thank you, Jim! It was delicious!" Sekai said with a cheerful smile.
Jim turned to him, smiled softly without a word, and continued cleaning up.
"I'm glad you liked it. Jim's an excellent cook—he prepares all my meals," Guina said proudly.
"Must be nice, eating like this every day..." Sekai said, imagining the luxury of having a personal chef.
"Haha! I'm glad to hear that. But what if I told you that you could eat like this more often than you think?" Guina asked with a mysterious smile, looking at both Sekai and Jessyka.
"What are you scheming, you blonde viper? Spit it out already!" Jessyka said, clearly irritated.
"Well, Miss Jessyka, you remember the friendly match we scheduled for later today, don't you?"
"Of course. I'm going to wipe the floor with you in the gym. What about it? "
Sekai tried to pull his hand free from Jessyka's grasp, but she forced it back onto her head.
"As we agreed, the loser has to grant the winner one wish," Guina continued.
"Yeah, so what?" Jessyka replied.
"Straight to the point then, Miss Jessyka," Guina said, spreading her arms wide and opening two fans with a radiant smile. "My wish is for you and your cousin to join the Student Council!"
"WHAT?!" Jessyka and Sekai shouted in unison, shocked by Guina's unexpected demand.
