Two successful sales, a lively Pokémon battle that had everyone on the edge of their seats, and footage perfect for promotional material. Today was a good day, he muses, patting Pikachu's head affectionately.
"Alright, buddy," Orion says, his voice cheerful. "Time to head to my office and work on that video and guidebook. We've got to show the world what Pokémon Home is all about!"
As Orion is about to turn and head towards his room, the front desk tablet lights up with a celebratory fanfare. A notification banner scrolls across the screen, proclaiming in bold letters:

Orion stops in his tracks, his eyebrows arching in intrigue. "What's this?" he wonders aloud, his curiosity piqued.
The tablet screen displays a large, ornate gift box, shimmering with an ethereal glow. A message accompanies the box, reading: "Congratulations, Owner! You have unlocked a new Pokémon partner for reaching turning three people in to trainers!"
Orion's eyes widen in surprise and delight. "A new Pokémon partner?" he exclaims, his voice filled with anticipation. "Well, Pikachu, let's see who our new friend is!"
He taps the gift box icon on the screen, a sense of excitement bubbling within him.
As Orion presses the gift box on the tablet, a shimmering distortion appears in front of the counter, the air rippling and shimmering like heat haze. A gift-wrapped box materializes into reality, mirroring the one on the screen in every detail, complete with a satin ribbon and a tag that says, "To the Owner."
Orion gasps, his eyes wide with wonder. "Now that's some powerful delivery service!" he exclaims, his voice filled with awe. He looks from the box to the tablet, shaking his head in disbelief. "Talk about augmented reality! Or maybe it's just another black technology in this world of Pokémon."
With Pikachu perched on his shoulder, excitedly chittering and twitching its nose, Orion carefully opens the gift box, his hands trembling slightly with anticipation. Inside, nestled on a bed of soft velvet, is a single, pristine Poké Ball. It is remarkably plain, lacking any ornate designs or embellishments.
"Well, that's a lot less flashy than I expected," he notes, chuckling softly. "But I suppose it's what's inside that counts!"
Holding his breath with anticipation, Orion presses the release button on the Poké Ball. With a flash of brilliant light that momentarily blinds him, Latias appears, gracefully floating in the center of the store. Her sleek, red and white body gleams under the fluorescent lights, and her golden eyes sparkle with curiosity and intelligence.
Latias surveys her surroundings with a gentle curiosity, her head tilting slightly as she takes in the sights and sounds of Pokémon Home. Her red feathers shimmer with an iridescent sheen, and her aerodynamic form speaks of incredible speed and agility. Her golden eyes glow with a warm, intelligent light, radiating an aura of serenity and compassion. The wind that follows Latias is comforting and clears the surrounding area of all scents, leaving it with a smell of water, fresh and invigorating.
Latias is known as the Eon Pokémon, a dual-type Dragon/Psychic Legendary Pokémon. She is known for her ability to refract light, which allows her to become invisible or take on the appearance of a human. She is also known for her telepathic abilities, which allow her to communicate with humans and Pokémon alike.
Latias made her debut in Pokémon Heroes, alongside her brother Latios. In the movie, Latias and Latios protect the Soul Dew from Annie and Oakley. She plays a pivotal role, showcasing her ability to transform into a human and her deep connection with Latios. A heartbreaking moment is when Latios sacrifices himself to save Alto Mare, with Latias left to mourn his loss.
Latias tilts her head, her golden eyes focusing on Orion. A gentle smile spreads across her face, and her voice echoes in his mind. "Greetings, Orion. It is a pleasure to meet you."
Orion smiles back, his heart swelling with warmth. "The pleasure is all mine, Latias. Welcome to Pokémon Home. I'm Orion Oak, and this is my partner, Pikachu."
Pikachu, eager to greet the newcomer, leaps from Orion's shoulder and scampers towards Latias, nuzzling against her sleek body and chittering excitedly. Latias responds with a soft coo, gently stroking Pikachu's head with her wing. "It's wonderful to meet you too, Pikachu. You have a kind heart."
Excited to learn more about his new companion, Orion aims his Pokédex at Latias. The device whirs to life, scanning Latias and displaying a wealth of information on its screen:

With a soft glow that envelops her entire body, Latias transforms into a beautiful young woman with long red hair that cascades down her back, soft golden eyes that radiate warmth and kindness, and an aura of gentle warmth that fills the room. Her clothing mirrors her Pokémon form's colors — a simple yet elegant red and white dress that accentuates her grace and beauty.
"How do I look?" she asks telepathically, a hint of playful anticipation in her voice.
"Perfect," Orion responds, his smile widening and his heart swelling with gratitude. "Welcome to Pokémon Home, Latias!"
He is joined by Pikachu, who leaps into Latias's arms, giving her another affectionate nuzzle, welcoming her to the team. "Pika, pika!" he squeals, his voice filled with joy.
"With you as my assistant, I'm sure this store will be a success!" Orion exclaims, his voice filled with confidence and enthusiasm.
