Chapter 5 - Light in the Morning

In the morning light, on the terrace of their mansion, stood Isadora, carefully cradling her child, Lorenzo. The gentle sunlight kissed the baby's skin, and with every smile, it was as if the world around him brightened. The unusual mark on Lorenzo's chest—the footprint of the White Wolf—glimmered even more vividly under the sun's rays, a sign of the power that coursed through his blood. In just a few days, Isadora would return to overseeing the family business, but for now, this moment belonged solely to their quiet togetherness.

Scene: On the Mansion Terrace

Isadora sat on the terrace, the baby resting in her arms. The breeze was soft, and the leaves of the trees along the edge of the terrace danced lightly with the wind.

Isadora (gently, smiling at the baby):

"Lorenzo… today's sun is for you. Look at the light… it's telling you that wonderful things are waiting for you in this world."

Lorenzo smiled at his mother, his tiny hand reaching toward the sunlight, and the mark on his chest sparkled even brighter.

Isadora (holding his hand to her face, smiling):

"Your father is always with you in your heart, and I… I am here to care for you. No matter how many storms come, you have a light that will protect you."

The little boy laughed sweetly, and to Isadora, it seemed as though Lorenzo was speaking to her in a quiet, magical language.

In those moments, Isadora thought only of her child's happiness. Yet behind the light and smiles, shadows lingered—eyes watching, waiting for the right moment. The sun rose, but danger did not only travel in the light… it hid in the darkness as well.

As they lingered on the terrace, Aling Aurora arrived. Together, they watched the sleeping baby. Every small movement of Lorenzo was carefully observed—from his gentle breaths to his tiny hands and feet. Their conversation flowed with memories and dreams for the child, as well as plans for the future.

Isadora held the baby close, while Aling Aurora stood nearby, watching with a hint of worry.

Isadora (softly, smiling at Lorenzo's nanny):

"Aling Aurora… I know you love him, so I want you to guide him, to help him understand himself and the secret within his being."

Aling Aurora (slightly anxious, staring at Lorenzo):

"You know, Isadora… as he grows, he will become even more extraordinary. I take great care of him, but sometimes… I am afraid. What if the time comes when he becomes a wolf?"

Isadora (taking Aling Aurora's hand, smiling):

"Aling Aurora, I know. I trust you with everything… and when his 21st birthday comes, under the full moon… he will become a full wolf. But for now, he is just a baby. What matters most are these smiles, these days with him."

Aling Aurora (taking a deep breath, offering a small smile):

"Yes, I promise, no matter what happens… he will always be protected, especially now that your husband is busier leading the business. And one day, Lorenzo will understand everything about himself."

Isadora (gazing at Lorenzo, thoughtful):

"I'm also happy that when the time comes, his older sister, Aliya, will start school. Her first day is coming soon."

Despite ordinary days, every movement of Lorenzo was special. Every smile, every giggle, was a glimpse of the power long hidden in his blood. The sun rose, and the air sparkled with the baby's energy, while the mark on his chest shone quietly, as if holding a secret gift for the world awaiting him.

Narrator's POV:

Across the vast lands of Alcantara stood a hacienda, not only a home but a symbol of power and family honor. The Hacienda de Alcantara lay at the edge of mountains and sea, where the cool wind carried the fresh scent of grapes. The land had long been nurtured, and every plant and fruit was tended with love and discipline, honoring the traditions of the Aurelion Group.

The Alcantara family business, once known as Laluna Company, belonged to Don Lucien. Under his leadership, it gained worldwide fame for its quality and unique wines, crafted from select grapes—symbols of the Aurelion blood and honor in battle. When Don Lucien passed away, he entrusted Don Rafael with the care of the family and their estate.

To shield it from enemies' eyes and protect the secret of their wealth, Rafael renamed the company—now known as Moon State Company. The Hacienda de Alcantara, formerly Laluna Wines, held rows of vineyards, each plant carrying a name and history. The grapes were cared for daily, from watering to harvest. The wines created from them were not merely drinks, but emblems of the past—the blood, courage, and honor of the Aurelion under Don Lucien. Each bottle held a story; each flavor recalled bravery and the fight for justice and peace.

Yet the importance of the hacienda and Moon State Company went beyond history or wine. They were symbols of power and ambition. Not only humans desired them; dark wolves, especially Ignacio, cast their eyes upon the estate with secret longing. They knew that controlling Laluna Wines and the throne of the tribes would expand their influence across the world.

The Hacienda de Alcantara and Moon State Company were not just businesses—they were legacy, protection, and inspiration for the next generation. And one day, Lorenzo, the last blood of the White Wolf, would lead them—facing both light and darkness, bringing balance to the world awaiting him.

Yet behind the wealth and power of the hacienda and Moon State Company, other eyes watched, harboring their own desires. Bernadeth, Don Rafael's younger sister, lived nearby with her son Carlo and their parents, Mang Nestor and Aling Nelia.

Bernadeth was a single mother, and through the kindness and love of her brother Rafael, Carlo had everything he needed—education, food, and security. Bernadeth did not know that the Alcantara wealth came from Lorenzo's true father, Don Lucien, and that Rafael's true mission was to protect the last blood of the White Wolf, Lorenzo.

Their desire for wealth was human, but they were unaware that this legacy carried secrets far greater and more powerful than they imagined. Mang Nestor and Aling Nelia, Rafael's parents, knew the Hacienda de Alcantara belonged to Don Lucien and had been entrusted to Rafael solely to safeguard the last blood of the White Wolf. Thus, they did not covet it, living simply and quietly—a symbol of wisdom and vigilance, a secret guide for generations to come.

Narrator's note:

In the future, these relationships would bring tension and trials. Bernadeth and Carlo, with their own dreams and ambitions, were yet to realize the true

significance of the hacienda– Await in the next chapter!
