"And now they're all dead."
"Captain, stop talking nonsense. It's all your fault," Rayleigh said, taking a sip of his drink and glancing sideways at Roger.
"You call that a notification? You just casually told a few people about Milim and then completely ignored it."
"You're a real bastard!"
"It would be a miracle if anyone actually believed you."
Roger didn't look embarrassed at all, laughing heartily. "So, are you saying I didn't spread the word or not?"
The crew members all looked at Roger with contempt.
...
Milim and Charlotte Linlin had also returned to Totto Land. Welcomed by everyone, they started a banquet.
The long table was laden with delicacies, adorned with exquisite tableware and fresh flowers. Every detail was meticulously arranged, creating a grand and lively scene that was a feast for the eyes.
Everyone dined together, and regardless of race, even the giants could chat happily with the long-arm tribe.
"Om nom, om nom!" Since the banquet started, Milim's mouth hadn't stopped moving. Various delicacies were continuously brought up, and empty plates were constantly taken away.
Needless to say, the same went for Charlotte Linlin. Having not eaten for three days, she was like a ravenous beast. No food could stay on the table for more than a second. Like Milim, Linlin's favorite food was also sweets.
Therefore, both their tables were also filled with desserts, which the two sisters would only savor after they were full.
Vegapunk and El, hand in hand with the others, danced around the bonfire. The blush on their faces clearly indicated that they were already drunk.
Bullet, who had just been brought back, sat with a group of children, devouring food like there was no tomorrow.
Today was Totto Land's first victory, and an unprecedentedly great one at that. Everyone, both on the sea and within Totto Land, now understood its power.
Those in Totto Land who had worried that such a wonderful world would not last long were now relieved.
The greedy enemies on the sea were now intimidated by Totto Land's power and dared not approach.
From now on, Totto Land would enter a period of faster development. Perhaps with more people coming to the island, Spring Island would no longer be able to accommodate everyone.
But these were not matters for Milim and the others to consider right now. What they should be considering was enjoying the delicious food and basking in their glory.
At this moment, Milim was staring at the baijiu in front of her. She was making a difficult decision. Although she was already an adult, Milim had never had a drink in either her past or present life.
Although Linlin had been eating, her gaze had never left Milim for a second. Naturally, she saw Milim's hesitant look.
"Milim, if you don't want to drink, then don't," Linlin said, somewhat amused.
Milim glanced at Linlin, then at the baijiu in her hand. She swallowed and decided to try it. "It's okay. I'll take it as a reward for our victorious return. I'm going to challenge this thing I've never tasted before."
The moment the baijiu entered her mouth, Milim felt a distinct spiciness, like a warm current flowing down her throat, even with a hint of a burning sensation.
After swallowing, the spiciness gradually faded, leaving a warm feeling where the liquid had passed. As it went down her esophagus, a warmth spread in her abdomen, and Milim felt her whole body gradually heat up.
After one sip, Milim's eyes lit up. The baijiu wasn't as bad as she had imagined. She felt that drinking it occasionally would be quite nice.
So, Milim picked up a glass bottle of baijiu, took a bite of a chicken leg, and then chugged a mouthful of the liquor. She felt a little light-headed.
As the banquet progressed, many people were already lying on the ground, dead drunk. Dozens of baijiu bottles were scattered around Milim.
If a normal person drank this much, they would have already suffered from alcohol poisoning. But Milim's face was only slightly flushed, and her head felt a little light. She just felt very relaxed.
Milim staggered over to Charlotte Linlin and headbutted her in the back.
"Damn you, Linlin! You're so tall, it's unforgivable."
With a helpless expression on Linlin's face, Milim began to let herself go. Perhaps because she was drunk, Milim was surprisingly talkative.
"Why aren't you moving?" Milim, with her hazy eyes, grabbed Linlin's cheek with one hand. Lying on Linlin's back, she kept muttering, "Hey—Linlin, hurry up and play with me."
A relaxed smile appeared on Linlin's face. "I can play with you, but don't be a sore loser if you lose, okay?"
Milim excitedly raised her left hand. "Bring it on! Lady Milim won't lose to you."
Charlotte Linlin carried Milim on her back. With one of them arguing and the other coaxing, they left the banquet and returned home.
Not long after they got home, Milim's powerful body had mostly metabolized the alcohol, and her head cleared up.
The first thing Milim noticed upon sobering up was the smell of alcohol all over her.
"Honestly, it smells so bad." Milim walked to her room in disgust, took out a yukata, and with her other hand, grabbed the sleeping rabbit from her bed.
"Hmm, hmm-hmm, hmm-hmm!" Humming an unknown tune, Milim took off all her clothes and jumped into the hot spring.
The splashing water hit Ryuka, who was massaging Linlin!
"Ah!" The splashed water soaked Ryuka from head to toe. Linlin opened one eye, glanced at the hot spring, and then closed it again.
"Gurgle, gurgle, gurgle!" Milim, with half her head above the water, kept blowing bubbles, her eyes fixed on Ryuka, who was massaging.
The little rabbit finally escaped its evil master's grasp and skillfully swam to the swimming ring Linlin had specially prepared for it.
Lying on the swimming ring, its little short legs paddled continuously, and the whole rabbit swam around in the hot spring.
Milim climbed onto the shore, her eyes sparkling with excitement as she stared at Linlin. "Linlin, let me give you a massage!"
Linlin glanced at Milim and said with some disbelief, "Milim, you don't actually think massaging is fun, do you?"
"Hehe!" Milim scratched her head and gave a cute smile.
"Then give it a try!" Linlin knew what Milim was thinking just by looking at her. But it wasn't a big deal, so she didn't mind.
Ryuka immediately stepped back and stood quietly to the side. She handed over a yukata. Milim took it and draped it over her smooth body.
Then, she stepped onto Linlin's back with one foot, then the other, and began to walk around on it.
Feeling the pressure on her back, Linlin let out a couple of comfortable hums. Compared to Ryuka's previous strength, it was obvious that Milim's was much more comfortable.
Ryuka, on the side, watched with wide eyes at the comfortable expression on Linlin's face. Suddenly, some unpleasant thoughts came to her mind, and her whole face instantly turned red.
