He still lacked in offense and defense, but he wasn't a "fragile civilian" anymore.

The King Engine revved of its own accord—loud enough that both Saitama and Genos heard it.
Genos's eyes shone with expectation; Saitama looked bored in that "of course" way.
Lin Mo kept the cold mask and nodded slowly.
Light erupted in Genos's eyes. He bowed deeply. "Thank you! Tomorrow morning, then!"

Outside the block—half-demolished construction grounds. Rubble and rebar, plenty of space.
"Please take care of me," Genos said, bowing again.
No casual clothes today—just gleaming, upgraded cybernetics.
Streamlined torso latticed with vents and conduits. Shoulder-mounted thrusters. Heavier arms.
"Right. Make it quick. We've got a Registry to visit," Saitama yawned, white cape stirring in the breeze.
King stood stiffly, hands in jacket pockets, face impassive.
He looked like a rock; inside, he was a little rattled.
His first real fight.
"As agreed—please allow me to challenge Sensei first," Genos said, locking onto Saitama.
"Sure," Saitama said.
Genos moved.
The ground crazed beneath his feet. The new leg thrusters flared blue.
He cracked the sound barrier, a silver bolt shredding dust into a whirling snake.
He wove through the ruins at jet speed, leaving afterimages.
His tactical systems screamed, modeling hundreds of attack angles on Saitama.
"Sensei… barely moving. No—his eyes never left me."
"At this speed, he shouldn't be able to track me!"
"Try this!"
He vaulted high on a blazing turn, arms crossed, palms blazing.
"Machine-Gun Body Blow!"
A monsoon of strikes hammered down, pulverizing everything in a radius.
When the dust fell, Saitama stood where he had been—without a speck on him.
"What!?" Genos's lenses pin-pointed.
His sensors had recorded it clearly: in under a second, Saitama casually nullified every blow—at a speed beyond Genos's dynamic capture.
"Please don't hold back!" Genos stabilized in the air, voice earnest.
Steam howled from his vents as he red-lined the core. "Give me everything, Sensei!"
His right arm's plates unfurled, revealing red pipelines pulsing with ruinous energy.
A thick, spiraling beam of flame speared down, the air warping.
At the last instant, Saitama vanished.
"What!?" Genos's core screamed red. "Scan—behind!"
He whipped around, hip engines detonating, long alloy leg carving a scything arc.
Whiff.
Saitama leaned back just a hair, dodged, and pushed a very ordinary fist forward.
No flourish. Just a punch.
In Genos's internal world, the blow's approach felt like someone hit the delete key on reality.
The fist stopped one centimeter from his cheek.
"Okay. Done." Saitama withdrew and glanced at King. "You're up."
Only then did the punch-wind truly land. An invisible shockwave howled past Genos and raced into the distance.
He turned stiffly. The abandoned street and remaining buildings behind him were gone.
A hundred-meter-wide trench stretched to the horizon.
After a long moment, he found his voice again and bowed low. "Yes, Sensei. I understand. The gap… remains immeasurable. Thank you."
He faced King—eyes a little lost.
After tasting Sensei's unfathomable strength firsthand, now he had to face the other "Strongest," said to stand at the same level—King.
"This is insane, Saitama," Lin Mo thought, staring at the canyon.
Then he heard his own heart.
Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud!
The King Engine rolled across the field.
"Intimidation (Dragon)—activate," Lin Mo thought.
Strike first. Always best.
Terror thundered outward from him like a bomb.
Still reeling from Saitama's display and his own smallness, Genos was swallowed by the sudden pressure.
Before their stunned eyes, his glow dimmed. He keeled over like a felled tree, hit the dirt, and kicked up dust.
