I had been playing with Lucas all day long after I had breakfast with Allen. We played hide and seek, tag and then we had some tea and cookies. They were really scrumptious. Due to playing continuously for hours we both got sweaty and went to take a shower. Ahhh I enjoy hot bathes so much.
"Emily, I'll be eating dinner with Lucas".
"Ehh Madam, His Highness wants to have dinner with you".
"Wa...waitt! Again. But we just had breakfast today together. Now he wants to eat dinner with me as well. Uhhhhh hmph.!"
"It looks like Madam still hasn't made up His Highness".
"We...well technically your not wrong". Right Emily doesn't know about our contract marriage. This is annoying. "Then I would like to bring Lucas along as well. Is that ok?".
"Hmm, I don't think His Highness would have any problem with that".
After the bath, I got ready and went towards Lucas's room as he'll be going with me as well.
"Lucas. Are you ready?".
"Uhhh yess.... Big sis look. How do I look?"
"Oh my goodness. You look just like a prince. I have such a cute brother".
"No I'm not cute! I'm handsome."
"Yes yes... Very handsome. Well then, shall we go, my handsome brother".
"Yesss, let's go".
And then as usual Cedric was waiting for escorting us.
"Madam is looking really happy today". Cedric said.
"Hmph!". I still haven't forgiven him for leaving me alone with that beast.
Ahh I guess Madam is still mad at me for leaving her with Allen."Well..Ma...Madam, please forgive me for leaving you alone with the Crown Prince. You already know I can't disobey his order. I'd be happy if you'll forgive me".
"We..well I guess, I can let it go this time. We can't do anything about it". He had a point he couldn't possibly disobey Allen. I was getting mad at the wrong thing.
"Thank you Madam. Well then, Your Highness we're entering".
Cedric bowed down, I didn't though. He said it himself that I shouldn't be formal with him.
Cedric looked at me with disbelief, well all the maids did as well.
"Hello Allen. It's good to see you again". I said while faking the most fakkest smile ever.
"Oh Lucas, you need to bow down as well".
"But sis, you didn't bow".
"Well that's because, His Highness only gave me permission not to bow down. It doesn't include you. So you'll have to bow now".
"Y..yes". Then Lucas bowed to him as well.
"It's good to see you again as well Celine. Well then, you may take your seats."
"Lucas, don't forget your manners. Got it!". I whispered in Lucas's ear.
The table was filled with lots of food. Sea food and even steak. It also smelled heavenly. But one thing was disturbing me alot. The head maid kept glaring at me and Lucas with disgust filled in her eyes. Seriously I don't know what's wrong with her.
"Oh my Allen, isn't this too grand. You shouldn't have done this much".
"My my, how ill mannered are you young lady. Don't you know we should address the Crown Prince respectfully. I guess your parents didn't teach you."
This wench."Excuse me! Who are you to interfere betwe-".
"Celine". Allen cutted me in between. I stayed quiet and didn't speak a word.
"Head maid. I was the one who asked her to talk to me without any formalities as we are soon to be married". Allen said fiercely.
"Huhh..married! Your Highness do you know what your saying. It's not a nice thing to joke about". The head maid said with confusion. Guess she didn't know.
"Joking? Does it look like I'm joking. Head maid you have insulted my guest and my future wife right it front of me. You spoke without even taking permission. Aren't you the ill-mannered one here. Apologize this instant."
"Your Highness you can't possibly do this to me for a mere gi - ".
"Apologize now!". Allen said these words with so much anger and at the same time, his eyes started to turn crimson quickly.
"I Apologize, I shouldn't have said these words to you".
"Ohh it's okay, I forgive you". In hell!. Why did Allen treat her this way. I can't believe he said this for me, it kinda makes me happy,but it could also be a way to manipulate me in falling into his traps. Emily told me Allen cherishes the head maid alot. Though when I asked him he said he only cherished Cedric. Well I'm glad he took my side.
"Well then you may take your leave".
"Ye..yess". How could he do this to me. This woman has probably done something to him. He's never treated me like this.
Then the head maid left.
"Well then shall we eat?"
Mmmm! It's so yummy. I never expected it to taste this good. Hmm it seems Lucas is enjoying as well. Out of all a sudden Lucas grabbed my clothes.
"Sis, are you really getting married to His Highness?.
"Ahhh, yes. I am".
"But why?. You told me you would never marry." Lucas asked me such a difficult question.
"Why you ask. Well...uhh l..love? Yeah, Allen and I love each other that's why."
"Yeah, I adore your sister. I'm obsessed withher". Allen said, with the same creepy smirk on his face.
This bastard! What the hell is he saying in front of a child. Well Lucas is still a child he wouldn't understand.
"Sis, are you gonna leave me as well." Lucas said with an upsetting look on his face. Lucas has no other family then me. The same is with me I don't have any family except for Lucas as well.
"No...no way. Your sis will always stay with you no matter what. I'll never leave you." I said with a smile. Though that's probably not true. If I by any chance die, whose gonna be on Lucas's side. Well I'm not gonna die this easily.... After a while all of us finished dinner. Allen wanted to have a word with me alone so Lucas and Cedric had left first. This is nerve wrecking.
"Take a seat, I'm not eating you."
"I never said that your gonna eat me. And why would you even eat me."
"Why would I ?. Who knows"
"Pardon?".
"Let's get straight to the point. Tomorrow is a weekend, I'll be free. We're going to go outside."
"Eh?. Outside, but why?".
"We need to make preparations for our engagement ceremony. So well go choose a ring and a ceremony dress."
"Oh Alright. Anything else?."
"Is there any friend or family you want to invite?".
"I don't have a family. About friends, maybe Catherine."
"Catherine? And who is this women?".
"She... Is.. well! was the daughter of my mother's close Friend. She's married and have children. And his husband owns a wine shop".
"Hmm".
"Well if there isn't anything else I'll be going".
"Sit down" Allen said fiercely.
"Well... Uh yes".
"Tell me what did you mean by that".
"Pardon?. By what??"
"The things you said in the morning".
"Well, I said lots of things. Which one are you referring to?."
"Celine. You know what I'm referring too. Drop the act".
"Ahh well, I didn't mean anything". I knew it was about that, I had my suspicions. Damn it. I'm done.
"I'll eat you, if you lie once more". His eyes slowly begain to turn into Crimson color again. And then he licked and bit his lips.
Eeeep. That gave me goosebumps."W..well I actually thought that you were lonely. Because you know, living in this huge mansion without any family or people who are the same as you. Thinking about it made me a bit sad that's all, so I thought that you might've felt lonely, that's all."
"Hm".
Whattt. Why is he looking at me like that. It's creepy. Wait does he think I'm lying.
"Squirrel".
"Huhh? What squirrel?"
"You look like one. Makes me wanna hunt you".
"Wait a second. Allen seriously, a squirrel. Couldn't you find something better."
"Well I like squirrels, they're tasty".
"Your a vampire so you obviously eat squirrels".
"Yeah, I do and I enjoy eating them". The way he said it make it feel like as if he's referring to eating me. This jerk!.
"Ohh look how much late it's getting. Emily's probably worried. I have to go now."
"You may go, Little Squirrel".
"I prefer Celine. Well good night... And Sweet Dreams Allen." I can't believe I said it. I don't know why but my personality changes when I'm around this jerk....
Then Celine left.
"I don't think it's necessary to kill her".....
