Jaxon leaned back slightly, processing it. "Special agents… different from the special units?"
"They are," Natasha replied. "She said they're coming from another safe zone. Didn't mention how many."
Na-rin frowned. "I'm more surprised they're not just bombing the city."
Natasha nodded in agreement. "I thought the same. With a threat like this, bombing would be the safest choice. Sending soldiers… even special units… it won't be that effective."
She paused for a moment, her eyes drifting toward the distant city.
"…And the people in charge should know that."
A brief silence followed. Cindy looked between them, then spoke up. "Then… are you saying they're keeping the city intact because they want something from it?"
Natasha shrugged lightly. "That's the only reason I can think of. Either way, it's not our problem anymore. We should head back to the safe zone."
The others nodded in agreement. All except Jaxon.
"I want to stay a little longer." He spoke.
