A massive explosion erupted from the south. Asphalt and debris blasted into the air, buildings collapsing into dust within a hundred-meter radius. The shockwave rolled through the streets, rattling windows and sending loose metal clattering across the ground.
Dust and smoke surged upward, forming a thick cloud that swallowed the area and cut off visibility.
It didn't take long. From every direction, infected began to move. They rushed toward the source of the explosion, drawn toward the blast like moths to fire.
Cade did not waste the chance. "Move."
