Chapter 60 - Chapter 60

It must be said that Roja's storytelling skills were mediocre, and even Rudius couldn't help but laugh.

Alice didn't react at all, and even lazily rolled over, casually interrupting and agreeing, "Yes, yes, I understand, I will definitely study hard."

Luo Ya's expression grew increasingly dangerous, his cold, crimson-gold pupils reflecting the other's figure.

Rudius instinctively sensed danger; that's how his older brother acted when he wanted to punch someone.

Looking up cautiously, the once youthful and pretty face was now covered in frost, the eyes narrowed, and they began to approach each other.

Rudius quietly tugged at Roya and whispered, "Is this something you're doing?"

"Don't worry, I'll be careful," Luo Ya said calmly.

Alice gradually realized that something was wrong.

I sat up in bed and saw Roya right in front of me.

Alice shuddered, her cheeks flushing red. She shouted, "What do you want to do? I haven't broken your promise. You can't lay a hand on me!"

Rudius pricked up his ears, his face serious, adopting the demeanor of a virtuous gentleman.

What move was made? Explain in detail!

I don't mean anything by it, it's just that one of my brothers wants to know.

With a sigh, Roya waved to Rudius, who had been watching from the sidelines. Rudius walked up to Roya, and Roya asked him, "Do you think you can teach Alice well?"

Rudius shook his head decisively, and Roya fell into deep thought again, beginning to analyze the pros and cons.

Finally, with a soft sigh, he patted Rudius's shoulder forcefully and said, "Alright then, I'll teach you math and stuff for the first two years. You, um, you, what will you do?"

Roya turned his questioning gaze to Rudius.

Rudius said in a serious tone, "I will teach Miss Alice for the next three years."

Luo Ya sighed, rubbing his forehead. This guy was really asking for trouble, daring to make any kind of joke.

He gave the other person a disdainful tap on the forehead and bluntly said, "I'm sure you can feel it too, magic isn't omnipotent. Swordsmen are still the strongest in this world, understand?"

Rudius nodded seriously, while Roya smiled wryly. This guy was always like this, lazy and slack.

Honestly, I don't know if it's a good thing for him to have transmigrated here.

Alice gave a smile that looked more like a grimace. She now regretted bullying Rudius and scaring him away, only to have someone even more terrifying appear.

The thought of being dominated by the Great Demon King Roya in the future instantly brought tears to Alice's eyes.

Warm sunlight streamed into the room through the window.

But the warm sunshine couldn't warm Alice's heart.

Roya looked at Alice in front of him and smiled. Roya teased, "Is Alice very happy?"

She didn't say anything, silently put on her shoes and got out of bed.

He sat obediently in the chair, with an expression that said he didn't care anymore.

Roya asked Alice, "Do you want to study here, or go study outside?"

Alice looked at Roya expressionlessly. Although she didn't say anything, her expression said it all.

Silence was her last act of defiance. With her final, defiant gaze, she conveyed a truth to Luo Ya: Don't expect her to study seriously.

With no other option, Roya sent Ludius to his room to get paper and a pen, and Roya began writing simple characters on them.

These are all the most basic characters, basically equivalent to the first-grade textbooks in my previous life.

Roya read it once, and then had Alice read it again.

Alice didn't directly resist with any action. After reading it obediently several times, Roya asked her to read it again herself.

However, an unexpected incident occurred.

There weren't many words on the paper, just five small characters. Alice could pronounce the first character smoothly, but she pondered the second character for a moment. When she got to the third character, she stared at it with wide eyes.

Needless to say, Roya knew what was going on. After reading it to Alice, she nodded obediently, her gaze shifting to the next word, before falling silent again.

Luo Ya sighed helplessly. At least the other person already knew two words. It had only been ten minutes, and the other person already knew two words. An hour and sixty minutes, a day and 364 days, and so on, even a slow girl like Alice could become a genius.

Then, then Roya learned what suffering was.

It's like asking Alice, "What's Ma Mei?"

Luo Ya: "Ma Dongmei"

Alice nodded, paused for a moment, and then asked again, "What Dongmei?"

Luo Ya: "Ma Dongmei!"

Alice nodded again, and then asked, "Winter what plum?"

Teaching children requires a great deal of patience, especially teaching Alice.

But clearly, Alice is not the kind of person who can sit down and study seriously.

The more she studied, the more irritable she became. Not only Alice, but Roya was also somewhat affected. Finally, no one in the room spoke.

Only the sound of Alice stomping her feet on the floor could be heard.

Rudius watched the two men with amusement, finding it particularly amusing, especially their impatient expressions.

Finally, Roya exhaled and slowly said, "Shall we go find Kyrie Illya and learn swordsmanship?"

As the ancients said, "Haste makes waste." To teach a child, one must guide them patiently and gently; one cannot expect to achieve everything at once. Alice is doing quite well now. Roya kept reassuring himself in his heart that he shouldn't be concerned about temporary gains or losses, as long as Alice was willing to listen.

Upon hearing this, Alice subconsciously breathed a sigh of relief, tore the paper to shreds, and threw it hard on the ground, her expression gradually changing from ferocious to peaceful.

She almost couldn't hold back.

"Come on, Rudius, let me see how much you've improved," Roya said expressionlessly, glancing at the gloating Rudius.

"Uh, this, this isn't a good idea, is it?" Rudius suddenly shivered.

Roya's crimson eyes were fixed on the other person, and he said bluntly, "You, a Saint-level mage, can't even beat a little kid, and you still have the nerve to come and complain."

Rudius instinctively tried to argue, but Roya had already turned and left the room, heading towards the corridor.

Only two people remained inside.

Just as Rudius was about to walk out and follow Roya, a hand grabbed his collar.

Rudius was startled and turned around to look. Alice's hair was now standing on end, her previously peaceful expression had turned ferocious again, and her eyes flashed with a fierce light as she angrily said, "So, you're going to tattle on me?"

Rudius knew he was in trouble, but his mind raced, and he hurriedly defended himself, saying, "I didn't complain about you. When did I say anything?"

Alice remained undeterred, insisting, "I saw it all."

Rudius took a few steps back, his expression slightly stiff, and asked, "What did you see?"

"You're laughing at me."

The next moment, Rudius was pinned to the ground and pounded by Alice.

The sound of a heavy object falling to the ground and a wail could be heard from inside the room.

In the end, Rudius used magic to send his opponent flying a distance and quickly escaped.
