Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: A Tragic Future Foretold

Kuroda was a transmigrator.

They say the current trend is for armies of transmigrators to invade other worlds, but when it really happened to him, he was still caught completely off guard.

Someone once said that "everything a person experiences in life comes unexpectedly and without warning."

Being able to adapt—that's what truly matters.

So, Kuroda quickly accepted his new reality and wasted no time stirring up trouble.

As a passionate Naruto fan, he desperately wanted to see the Ninja Mobile Game appear in the world of shinobi.

Just imagine it—famous figures like Naruto and Sasuke, controlling their own characters—or each other's—in the arena, tearing through opponents left and right.

Of course, they could also get completely wrecked.

After all, this was a game that made boys blush on a regular basis. A true work of art—there's no way to go wrong with it!

And when it comes to finding a partner, trust me, you can't go wrong with a Naruto Mobile Game player!

First, they have good manners.

No matter if they win or lose, they'll comfort their opponent with genuine warmth, especially welcoming toward newcomers.

Second, they're very expressive.

They can go from laughing out loud to changing expressions in an instant—crying and laughing all at once. Their mood swings are lightning-fast, giving their partner a unique, ever-changing experience.

Third, they love to talk to themselves.

Whether anyone's around or not, they always mutter while playing.

Fourth, they're dedicated.

It's hard to imagine a game that requires players to log in every single day like it's a full-time job—but Naruto players do it faithfully and patiently.

Fifth, they're frugal.

They can't bear to spend even a single coin of in-game currency. They'll save up as much as possible—and if someone dares spend it, they'll lose it.

Sixth, they're good at math.

They truly understand what "cost-performance ratio" means. (Strategic lean-back.)

Seventh, they're everywhere.

You can find Naruto players anywhere—from heaven itself to every corner of the net.

Eighth, they're a mixed bunch.

No explanation needed for that one!

Ninth, their fingers are… very flexible.

Cough~

Tenth, they're united.

When it comes to teamwork, no one can rival them. The author proudly declares you all the strongest—though, yes, internal feuds are pretty common.

This, in short, could be called the modern Ten Deadly Sins!

But of course, the greatest of all their "crimes" is—looking like Sasuke… minus the tragic backstory!

The list of players' virtues is endless.

So if this miraculous game were brought into the shinobi world… one could hardly imagine what kind of spectacle would unfold.

(Discussion topic: How abstract will local players become?)

And so, with his essential transmigrator's system, Kuroda decided to make something big happen.

He could've taken it slow.

But as the saying goes—Naruto players hate slow starts. You can tell just by how often instant summoning appears in the arena!

The system's currency was Influence Points, a numerical value.

The greater his influence across the shinobi world, the deeper it took root in people's hearts—the more benefits he would gain.

To make the first wave as impactful as possible, Kuroda decided to let everyone across the entire shinobi world witness it together.

Because of that, he ended up broke—technically in the red.

But who cares! Naruto players are masters of finance—he'd earn it back in no time!

For the sake of influence and future growth, Kuroda could only start with one thing—war.

The shinobi world had always been a place of endless conflict. For so many years, they'd done little but fight.

So, in a way, his actions actually aligned with the world's will—after all, if they kept killing each other, who would be left to deal with the alien invaders in the future?

"System, come on, give it a little more power. Play that thing again on the light screen," Kuroda said in a negotiating tone.

The system gave no response, but the massive light screen floating in the sky began to stir.

A breathtaking image slowly unfolded before everyone's eyes.

...

Every person in the shinobi world focused their gaze on it.

And when the image became clear, gasps of shock erupted across every land.

Tragic.

That one word alone could describe everything they saw.

The land of the shinobi world, once rich and thriving, now lay in ruins—desolate and lifeless.

Everyone who saw it felt an inexplicable sorrow rising from the depths of their hearts.

Figures still moved across the ground, but their presence was hollow, lifeless—like corpses being driven by puppeteers.

No—they were corpses.

Their hearts were already dead, crushed by utter despair.

The light screen flickered again and again—

Konoha, Sunagakure, Kumogakure, Iwagakure, Kirigakure, even Amegakure...

Every major village and nation had turned into rubble.

The once-famous heroes who shook the shinobi world had become nothing but dust.

[Year 1451 of the Shinobi Calendar]

[After the Fourth Great Shinobi War, through the hard work of those who survived, the world had finally regained prosperity—but it did not last.]

[That day, beings from beyond the heavens arrived.]

[They were the true ancestors of shinobi—the source of the chakra system itself.]

[Against these non-human enemies, even the strongest of the shinobi struggled. They could repel them temporarily, but never completely erase the threat.]

[And then, without warning, the event that would destroy the shinobi world arrived.]

[Every shinobi across the world united, putting aside all differences, standing together as one.]

[But no matter how many times they fought desperately, humans died when killed—while the enemies seemed endless.]

[Perhaps, seeing the determination of humanity, the true gods themselves descended.]

[They could not be resisted or stopped.]

[After the death of the one man capable of standing against them, the shinobi world began to fall.]

[With 80% of the world's population dead, their defeat was absolute. The world became nothing but a breeding ground for aliens.]

[Shinobi—extinct.]

...

Silence.

A deathly, suffocating silence.

As everyone stared at those blood-red words on the light screen, they were left utterly speechless.

The message itself wasn't complicated—it was simple enough to understand.

Basically, it was saying: Aliens will invade the shinobi world in the future. We should stop fighting each other and prepare together.

Hmm...

Like hell anyone's gonna believe that!

Out of nowhere, this mysterious thing appears, saying bizarre stuff—who would take it seriously?!

"Ahahaha! Aliens? Come on, there's no such thing!" Naruto burst into laughter, clutching his stomach.

At this time, in the Ninja Academy, students like Naruto found it all hilarious—but others just felt confused, vaguely sensing something profound.

Sasuke sat by the window, arms crossed, glancing subtly at Naruto. His brow furrowed slightly.

Was it just his imagination… or did the figures flashing across that screen look… familiar?

Still, it wasn't convincing enough.

Kuroda understood that, of course.

He never expected everyone to believe him right away—he just wanted maximum exposure for now.

After all, with time, more and more people would come to believe it… because it was the truth.

"Since it's come to this, let's start a PK match!"

Before Kuroda, a small screen appeared—connected to the massive one in the sky.
