Viona's POV
I winced as I leaned against the headboard, another sharp stab of vertigo piercing through my head. My mother sat beside me, holding my hand the entire time, her worried face treating me as if I were still her fragile little girl.
"Your blood pressure is low, so try not to stress yourself if you can." The OB-GYN Roman had recommended spoke gently. She looked much younger than I'd imagined. "I'm not going to prescribe anything for your vertigo right now. Just get plenty of rest and drink more water. We'll monitor you for the next six hours."
"Doctor, are you sure she'll be alright? She suddenly collapsed. Isn't there any medicine that's safe for pregnant women?" My mother squeezed my hand, her face full of pleading worry as she looked at the doctor.
"I could prescribe a very small dose that's considered safe, but her pregnancy is still in its early stages and high-risk. It would be much safer if she didn't take any painkillers at all, even in the smallest dose."
