As soon as I arrived at the same restaurant where we had met for the first time, I was escorted inside by a security guard. This time, the restaurant should have been open, but it had been closed exclusively for me and Aoi Hoshino.

I greeted Aoi as soon as I entered the room.

"Good afternoon."

"Good afternoon. How was school? Huff... I still can't get used to the fact that you're still in school."

"Well, I still study because it's necessary. I don't like going to school, and I don't need to." I shrugged.

"Hmm, why?"

"Because I already know everything they teach at school. I always get perfect scores. It's boring."

"Ugh, I'm so jealous." Aoi Hoshino rested her head on the restaurant table. "When I was your age, I struggled a lot in school. I was never good at studying."

"Is that why you decided to become a singer?"

"No, not because of that. I was discovered by chance while performing at my high school graduation party. After that, I was brought to the company I'm still with today."

"I see. It sounds like something straight out of a movie."

"Actually, not really. The school I attended is known for producing several singers. The music club is quite popular." Aoi Hoshino explained.

I had never heard of that school before... Is it really that famous?

Well, whatever.

"I see. I'm not part of any club at school. They've tried to recruit me into the music club, the book club, and the manga club, but I turned down every invitation. I prefer going straight home as soon as classes end."

Should I join a club?

No, I don't have time for that.

"Well, you're a very busy person, aren't you?" Aoi Hoshino smiled.

"Yes, that's right, and I'm going to become even busier from now on. I'm working on an animation with a famous studio, and I'm writing two new works. Starting today, I'll also begin working on a new project—the 'Idol' project."

"The 'Idol' project? Does it have something to do with music?"

"Of course. I came here today to discuss the ideas I've come up with." I took my MacBook out of my bag. I had brought it to school because I was coming straight here to meet Aoi Hoshino afterward.

I opened the MacBook and pulled up a file.

I turned it toward Aoi Hoshino, and she looked surprised. On the screen was a character with long black hair and cute face. She wore an outfit similar to Ai Hoshino's from Oshi no Ko, but she didn't have Ai's distinctive starry eyes.

"Is that me?" Aoi's eyes sparkled. "It is me! Even my chest is the same size. I can't believe you paid attention to that too~~"

"Don't say unnecessary things." I let out a disappointed sigh. "Yes, it's you. My plan is to release an original music video for the song—a short animation with the same duration as the track."

"An animation..." Aoi looked at me seriously. "Will that really work?"

"Of course it will. We're in Japan."

"But wouldn't it be difficult to create something like that without the help of a studio?"

"I'm working on a film with a famous animation studio. I can ask them for help with this. Of course, we'll need to spend some money on it."

"Money isn't a problem." Aoi Hoshino said confidently. "I'll talk to my agency about it."

"So you like the idea?"

"I think it's a wonderful idea!" Aoi Hoshino shouted as she slammed her hands on the table. "I need to talk to my agency as soon as possible." She grabbed her phone.

However, I stopped her and said, "Calm down. I need to talk to the studio first. If they don't agree to work on it, we'll have to look for another studio."

"All right." Aoi Hoshino sighed. "But regarding the animation, do you already have any ideas for what you're going to do?"

"Yes. I'll start working on the storyboard soon."

"Storyboard? I don't understand anything about that." Aoi Hoshino smiled bitterly.

Then we talked for almost two hours while we ate.

By the time our "dinner" was over, it was already nearly eight o'clock at night. I said goodbye to Aoi Hoshino, and this time no journalists showed up to bother us. I got into the car with Daiki, and the vehicle began moving.

"How did it go?" he asked.

"We decided to move forward with the idea of making an animated music video. I'll contact Asuna as soon as I get home."

"Asuna is that woman who works at a studio, right?"

"That's right. I hope she's willing to help me."

The car arrived at the front of my house, and I said goodbye to Daiki.

As soon as I entered the house, I greeted my mother and told her I wouldn't be having dinner since I'd already eaten out. Then I went to my room. After taking a hot shower, I sat down at my computer and sent an email to Asuna.

Although I kept in touch with her frequently, we only communicated through email.

I wrote an email explaining the project and then asked for her help. I told her that I would handle all of the storyboarding and directing, so she wouldn't need to worry about that. She only needed to find a few animators willing to work on the project.

After sending the email, I was surprised by a message from Aoi Hoshino.

[Did you get home safely? Hey, I found a good house for you. Why don't you take a look? It's from a company my mom recommends!]

Along with her message was an Instagram link.

'Do they advertise houses on Instagram?'

The last company Aoi recommended (the same company she bought her apartment from) didn't have anything that interested me. The apartments were too small, and the prices were too high.

So she has another company to recommend...

I opened the post she sent me, and my eyes widened as soon as I saw the price of the house. It was a house in Setagaya. It's an area located about thirty minutes from central Tokyo, and it's not a bad neighborhood.

'But the price... 140 million yen. I have more than 200 million because of all the investments my father made using my money. If I buy this house, a large portion of my savings will disappear.'

But it was a very large house, with two floors and more than eight bedrooms. It also had many bathrooms. On top of that, the property had a huge lot and practically no neighbors. There wasn't a swimming pool, but that wasn't necessary.

"It's quite modern... It looks like it was built not too long ago."

It's expensive, but...

It's a fair price.

I need to go see this house with my parents.

[Thanks.] I replied to Aoi.
