As soon as I entered the studio, a woman approached and guided me, my mother, and Rina to my dressing room. As soon as I stepped inside, I asked my mother to hand me the script she was carrying.

I took the script and started reading it once more.

Or at least pretending to read it.

I already have everything memorized, but I'm going to pretend I'm reading it to show that I'm very committed to this job.

Well, I am quite committed...

But my memory is so good that if I don't act appropriately, it might look like I'm treating the job carelessly.

Just imagine the director approaching me and asking, "Where's the script?" and me looking at him and replying, "I don't need that. I have everything memorized."

Some directors might not care and treat you like a genius, while others might think you're arrogant and taking everything too lightly.

Well, I guess I'm overthinking it.

As for the script, it's pretty simple.

The protagonist of this commercial is a very lonely high school student despite his handsome appearance. He's basically me. Despite my good looks and popularity, I can be considered a lonely person at school.

I have one friend. If I stretch it a little, I can add Mirai to that list, so I have two friends.

In the commercial, my character is walking down an street where only a few extras appear. He's feeling depressed.

Then I have to say, "Do I really have to go to school today?" and let out a sigh.

Next, the camera focuses on my bag. Inside it is a Nintendo Switch 3 that will be released soon. My character then changes direction and heads to a nearby park. He sits down on a bench.

While he's sitting there, a female classmate approaches him.

She sits beside him and watches him play. He doesn't notice that she's there.

When he finally notices her, she gets startled and introduces herself. He had seen her face before but couldn't even remember her name. From that point on, they start getting closer, and he lets her play on his console.

Time passes, and they continue interacting. Then, one day, she confesses her feelings to him, and they end up dating.

I guess this script treats the Nintendo Switch 3 like a cupid or something... It's an advertisement aimed at young people like me. I suppose it makes sense. It's a pretty cliché commercial, but it will definitely work.

But honestly, filming will be a little more complicated than it seems.

I talked with Rina, and she explained that some scenes will be filmed here, but others will have to be shot at a school, and the park scenes will also be filmed outside.

The only scenes that will be shot in the studio are:

The opening scene, since they built a fake street inside the studio, as well as the scenes that take place in my character's bedroom and in my girlfriend's bedroom in the commercial.

They could build a classroom set, but in the script, the characters aren't shown only in the classroom. They're also shown in the cafeteria, on the rooftop, and in many other locations around the school. That's why they're going to use a real school to film the commercial.

Rina said the filming will last two days. Today I'll shoot all the scenes intended to be filmed in the studio, and tomorrow I'll shoot the scenes at the school and the park.

I think it'll be fun.

"I read the script. It's cute," my mother said.

"It's nice, isn't it?"

"Do you already know which actress will be doing the commercial with you?"

"No, Rina didn't tell me. She only said it's someone famous. Well, I was already expecting that."

"Ugh, I'm curious. I hope it's not that woman."

"Aya Fuji?"

"Yes, her. I don't like her."

"Aya is way too old for this role," I said with a laugh.

After some time, the makeup artist entered my dressing room. She was a friendly woman who talked a lot, and it was fun chatting with her about various things while she finished my makeup.

Then it was time to put on the proper clothes.

The outfit was already hanging there waiting for me. I changed and then looked at myself in the mirror.

"This uniform is very similar to the one I wear to school, isn't it?" I said to my mother.

"It is. Actually, I think it's the exact same one." My mother carefully examined the uniform. "Even the shade of blue is identical."

I started to get a bad feeling, but I ignored it.

Then, suddenly, someone knocked on the dressing room door.

Memories of Aya Fuji walking into my dressing room flashed through my mind, but when I opened the door, I saw the production assistant who had brought me here. She came to inform me that filming would begin in half an hour and that I should go meet the other actors.

Or rather, the lead actress and the extras.

I left my dressing room and followed the woman. My mother decided to stay behind, eating snacks and browsing her phone. After walking for a few minutes, I finally arrived at the first filming set.

There's a lot of space here.

'Wow, they really built an entire street.'

There were green screens everywhere, though. They're going to use a lot of visual effects in this commercial.

"The other actors are over there," the woman said with a smile, pointing toward the other side of the set.

I walked toward them while the eyes of several crew members followed me.

I felt a little intimidated.

As soon as I got closer, I finally saw the actress who would be acting alongside me. Contrary to what I expected, she wasn't a famous actress.

At least, not one that I knew.

'But she's incredibly beautiful.'

She's much shorter than I am, with blonde hair and light-colored eyes. She's definitely not one hundred percent Japanese, just like me.

As soon as the girl saw me, she quickly approached with eyes shining like an excited puppy's.

'What an... adorable creature.'
