Chapter 13 - Ch: 138-145

Chapter 138: Feasibility of Time Travel

After further understanding the time-turner, a magical item, Aisen discovered that it was created using a spell called the Hour-Reversal Charm.

Obviously, the Hour-Reversal Charm is a type of time magic. In fact, Aisen was not surprised that time magicexisted in this world, as it was completely understandable.

After all, this world already had spatial magic like the Undetectable Extension Charm and Apparition, so the existence of time magic was only natural.

However, unlike spatial magic, time magic like the Hour-Reversal Charm is very unstable. It is not like Apparition, where stability gradually increases as the caster's proficiency improves, eventually being completely mastered by the caster.

The Hour-Reversal Charm, the spell itself, is inherently extremely unstable.

Just like Professor Croaker in the Department of Mysteries, as a professional who has dedicated his life to studying time magic, his research results show that the Hour-Reversal Charm is inherently very unstable, no matter how a Witch practices it.

If one wants to utilize it, it can only be sealed in a small hourglass container and made into a time-turner to improve the stability and reliability of this spell. This way, Witches can carry it with them and perform Time Travel.

Of course, even so, the maximum time Witches should spend Time Traveling via a time-turner should be controlled within five hours.

Because the Department of Mysteries' research on time has concluded that to avoid serious harm to the Time Traveler himself and to time itself, the time limit for Time Travel is five hours.

In the original story, Hermione used a time-turner in her third year to attend all her classes. A complete class at Hogwarts is two hours, which is clearly within the five-hour time limit, so Hermione had no issues using the time-turner.

However, even so, Aisen suspected that Hermione was slightly affected. Having interacted with Hermione for two years, Aisen knew what state this academic achiever was in when studying; describing it as 'like a fish in water' would be very appropriate.

But after Hermione used the time-turner in the original story, her entire state was off. Not only was she the first to go to the Library every day, but she was also the last one to leave the Gryffindor Common Room.

The prolonged experience made her tense. This indicates that, at the very least, Hermione was under some pressure. Otherwise, she wouldn't have handed in the time-turner at the end of the term.

Of course, besides using the time-turner for studying, Hermione also did another thing: she and Harry saved the hippogriff Buckbeak and Sirius Black.

The time-turner formed a closed loop in this matter, appearing very reasonable. Aisen speculates this is because they completed everything within three hours.

Of course, the reason why the optimal time for Time Travel using a time-turner is said to be five hours is because previous experiments resulted in very serious consequences.

It is said that in one experiment by the Department of Mysteries, a Witch was trapped in 1402 while Time Traveling and stayed for five days.

As a result, when this Witch returned to the present, her body directly bore the brunt of time, aging a full five centuries. Finally, this Witch died in the Spell Damage Ward of St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries.

Aging five centuries in an instant is undoubtedly an irreparable mistake. But thinking about it carefully, this consequence seems to be no problem for the current Aisen.

Because Aisen is already able to achieve Immortality, he naturally doesn't need to fear the side effect of Time Travel where the body ages.

However, this damage to the Time Traveler's body is only one type of consequence. More seriously, another type of damage made everyone feel terrified.

For example, during the five days the Witch was trapped, the life trajectories of some people she encountered were also affected. The direct impact was that the descendants of about 25 of those people simply disappeared in the present. This is because, after being influenced, the descendants of those people were simply not 'born' in the present.

Aisen can actually understand such consequences. After all, changing someone's life trajectory, it's not surprising that the future would change.

However, the fact that time itself was also affected is something Aisen doesn't quite understand. It is said that the day the Witch returned to the present was a Tuesday, but that day directly lasted for two and a half days, while the following Thursday ended after only four hours.

What Aisen finds strange is, how does the Wizarding World determine that a certain day is Tuesday? Isn't it determined based on the Earth's rotation and the calendar?

But if the time in the Wizarding World is no different from the time in the Muggle World, then if Tuesday directly lasted for two and a half days, does that mean the Earth's rotation actually slowed down by more than half? And if Thursday only lasted for four hours, does that mean the Earth's rotation speed increased several times?

With such changes, setting aside the possibility of earthquakes and tsunamis for now, just the drastic changes in the magnetic field would cause huge global disasters. As a result, the Ministry of Magic only encountered significant trouble in covering up this matter.

After a long period of contemplation, Aisen felt that this should also be one of the loopholes in the original story. But no matter what, at least Aisen didn't dare to use the Hour-Reversal Charm much.

Even if Aisen obtained a time-turner, his purpose was to let his golden finger work and see if he could replicate the characteristics of Time Travel.

If he could truly achieve this goal, it would definitely be an extremely significant event for Aisen. It would mean that the feasibility of Time Travel for Aisen would definitely increase considerably.

Collecting his thoughts, Aisen's gaze shifted, and he saw the scene outside Hogwarts Castle. The sky was clear that day, without a single cloud, looking exceptionally pure. The sunlight shone on the green lawn, reflecting faint glimmers, giving a feeling of vitality.

With a slight thought, Aisen's gaze turned to Dumbledore's office, and he found that he was not in the office, but resting in the small bedroom in the alcove behind the office.

Since his golden finger didn't react to ravenclaw's diadem, it was only natural to hand it over to Dumbledore.

Thinking this, Aisen's figure flashed, and he instantly arrived at Dumbledore's office.

The office was as usual, with portraits of previous Hogwarts Headmasters hanging on the walls, their eyes closed, gently snoring, seemingly resting. Behind the large desk, on a shelf, lay the wrinkled and worn Sorting Hat.

On the gilded perch behind the door, Dumbledore's pet Phoenix, Fawkes, had fully grown, its scarlet and gold feathers dazzling, looking quite a bit more beautiful. After Aisen arrived, it stared at him, occasionally letting out strange sounds.

"Hmm—" Dumbledore walked out of the alcove and then saw Aisen standing to the side, "Professor Aisen, can't you let this old man rest for a while?"

"Professor Dumbledore, how is the injury on your hand?" Aisen smiled slightly, easily changing the subject.

"Not bad, maybe it will be completely healed before the start of the new school year!" Dumbledore extended his right hand; the charred marks on it had faded considerably.

"That's truly good news!" Aisen said, while also sighing from the bottom of his heart. After all, Dumbledore being alive and well was what suited Aisen's wishes the most.

"Alright, thank you! But I believe you didn't come to see me at this time just to ask if I'm alright!" Dumbledore's expression changed, and he looked directly at Aisen, seemingly waiting for his reaction.

"That's right, there's something very important I need to tell you!" Aisen didn't pay attention to Dumbledore's change in expression, but instead took out something and placed it on the desk, then turned to look at Dumbledore.

Chapter 139: Another Horcrux and Speculation

"This is—" Dumbledore's light blue eyes stared fixedly at the object on the desk. It was a gem-encrusted, sparkling diadem that looked particularly captivating.

"If I'm not mistaken, it should be the diadem left behind by one of the founders of Hogwarts School, Ms. Rowena Ravenclaw." Aisen nodded and gave this answer.

"Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure—" Dumbledore touched the diadem with his finger and muttered this very famous quote. "A diadem that can increase the wearer's wisdom is truly incredible!"

"Ms. Rowena's level of magic is indeed hard to reach!" Aisen also sighed with emotion about this.

"It's a pity—" After a moment, Dumbledore calmed his emotions, sat down in the chair behind the desk, and showed a look of regret.

"Yes, it's a pity that ravenclaw's diadem was made into a Horcrux by Voldemort." Aisen picked up Dumbledore's words and continued, "It has lost its original effect!"

"Another Horcrux—" Dumbledore's eyes seemed a bit dazed, then he stared blankly at Aisen. "Aisen, can you tell me how you found it? I mean, it was lost a long time ago!"

"Professor Dumbledore, do you remember that you once instructed me to protect Harry when you had a premonition that you were about to leave Hogwarts?" Aisen pondered for a moment, then slowly began to explain his reason.

"That's right, so—" Dumbledore nodded, signaling Aisento continue.

"At that time, I felt that instead of watching over them all the time, it would be better to teach them some practical Charms." Aisen said slowly, his tone very calm. "Coincidentally, Lockhart was running a Duelling Club at the school at that time, so I took the opportunity to form a dueling group with the nature of practical training. To train Harry, Hermione, and Ron.

However, when I was looking for a venue for the dueling group, I encountered a problem! But fortunately, under an accidental circumstance, I discovered a hidden room at Hogwarts! It was a very magical room, and it could expand according to the user's needs!"

"A hidden room?" Dumbledore showed a look of doubt.

"That's right, it's opposite the tapestry of Barnabas the Barmy being clubbed by Trolls on the eighth floor. As long as you walk back and forth there three times, silently thinking of the place you need, a room will appear there!" Aisen's tone did not fluctuate.

"I know there's a room there. The Mirror of Erised was moved out of that room, but you said it can expand according to the user's needs?" A glint flashed in Dumbledore's eyes, and he seemed to have thought of something.

"That's right. When I needed a place to practice Charms, the room that appeared perfectly suited my needs, and that's where I trained Harry and the others." Aisen said lightly, but his tone paused. "Yesterday, I wanted to explore the secret of that room, so I tried to find a place to hide something, and as a result, I found ravenclaw's diadem inside!"

"So that's how it is—" Dumbledore nodded, showing a look of realization. "That room is indeed a good place to hide things. I think Tom must have believed that no one could find that room, which is why he hid the Horcrux he made inside."

"Yes!" Aisen agreed with Dumbledore's statement.

"However, since ravenclaw's diadem was made into a Horcrux by Tom, that means—" Dumbledore said, his tone becoming heavy.

"It means that the other three special items in Hogwarts School, similar to ravenclaw's diadem, are also very likely to be made into horcruxes by Voldemort!" Aisen directly stated this conclusion.

"You mean—" Dumbledore looked at Aisen.

"slytherin's locket, hufflepuff's golden cup, and Gryffindor's sword." Aisen nodded.

"No, Gryffindor's sword can only be taken out when a true Gryffindor needs it!" Dumbledore was silent for a moment, looked at the Sorting Hat on the shelf, then shook his head.

"If I'm not mistaken, Professor Dumbledore, you are from Gryffindor House." Aisen raised his eyebrows slightly, then glanced at the Sorting Hat. "Perhaps, you can take out Gryffindor's sword and check it!"

Dumbledore glanced at Aisen, said nothing, got up and went to the shelf, picked up the Sorting Hat, and reached his hand inside to feel for something. A moment later, a sword with rubies embedded in its hilt and 'Godric Gryffindor' inscribed on its blade was taken out by Dumbledore.

"Clearly, Gryffindor's sword is still intact. It has not been made into a Horcrux by Tom." Dumbledore said to Aisenafter examining the sword, then placed Gryffindor's sword next to the Sorting Hat on the shelf.

"Perhaps Voldemort once thought so, but he just didn't have the chance to get Gryffindor's sword!" Aisennodded, his tone very flat.

"What you said makes a lot of sense. This means that besides ravenclaw's diadem, slytherin's locket and hufflepuff's golden cup are very likely to have been made into horcruxes by Tom." Dumbledore sat down again, his expression much more serious. After a moment, he sighed, took off his glasses, and wiped them with a small piece of velvet.

After pondering for a moment, as if he had thought of something, Dumbledore showed a look of realization. "This conclusion just verifies the information I obtained from Hokey."

"Hokey?" This seemed to be the name of a House-elf. Aisen thought this and showed a questioning look. Fortunately, although Aisen was not proficient in memory magic, he could still dig out forgotten memories from the depths of his mind.

"Yes, a poor House-elf." Dumbledore put his glasses back on. "More than fifty years ago, Tom, who was still working as a clerk at Borgin and Burkes, visited a very wealthy Witch named Hepzibah Smith, who was the master of the House-elf Hokey."

But two days later, Hepzibah Smith suddenly passed away. Regarding this, the Ministry of Magic ruled that the House-elf Hokey had accidentally put poison in her evening cocoa.

"I assume this is definitely not the truth?" Although Aisenasked in a questioning way, his tone was quite certain.

"That's right, I think Tom must have tampered with Hokey's memory, making her admit to accidentally putting some deadly poison in her mistress's cocoa." Dumbledorenodded and continued, "The Ministry of Magic itself was already inclined to suspect Hokey, so after the elderly Hokey admitted to putting something in the drink, the Ministry of Magic didn't investigate further and locked her up in Azkaban."

When I retrieved these memories from Hokey, she was already close to the end of her life, and she died in Azkaban not long after.

At that time, the Hepzibah family discovered that Hepzibah Smith's two most valuable treasures—slytherin's locket and hufflepuff's golden cup—were missing.

Because she had many secret hiding places for treasures, it took them a long time to confirm this. Moreover, unfortunately, Tom Riddle had resigned from Borgin and Burkes before that and disappeared without a trace."

"This means that Voldemort did know about slytherin's locket and hufflepuff's golden cup. Furthermore, the fact that these two valuable treasures disappeared at the same time Voldemort vanished basically means that Voldemort stole them!" Aisen concluded.

"That's right. It wasn't until I saw you place ravenclaw's diadem, which had been made into a Horcrux, before me that I considered these possibilities." Dumbledoreshowed a hint of relief on his face.

"In that case, including the diary, Gaunt's ring, and ravenclaw's diadem, plus hufflepuff's golden cup and slytherin's locket, that makes five horcruxes." Aisen's lips curled up slightly.

"And, Harry Potter—" When Harry was mentioned, Dumbledore's mood was noticeably lower.

"I believe Voldemort didn't know that he had unintentionally made Harry into a Horcrux!" Aisenpointed this out.

"You mean Tom made another Horcrux?" Dumbledore's eyebrows furrowed slightly.

"That's right, perhaps Voldemort made another Horcrux. However, it's also possible that Voldemort didn't have time to make the last Horcrux before his body was destroyed by the rebounded Killing Curse." Aisenproposed another possibility.

In fact, this was basically the truth. As for Nagini, the last Horcrux Voldemort made, she would only be made when he was resurrected again.

Chapter 140: Before School Starts

After leaving Dumbledore's office, Aisen was still a bit confused. Perhaps because Aisen had consecutively found two horcruxes, Dumbledore believed that Aisenhad a strong connection with Voldemort's horcruxes.

Thus, Dumbledore directly used magic to recreate the slytherin's locket and hufflepuff's golden cup from his memory, allowing Aisen to see their appearance.

This made Aisen couldn't help but grumble to himself, wasn't Dumbledore planning to hand over the task of finding horcruxes to him?

At dawn the next day, before the sky was fully bright, a torrential downpour suddenly struck Hogwarts Castle. Lightning occasionally streaked across the sky, adding a touch of mystery to the entire Castle.

Aisen stood near the window inside the Astronomy Tower, watching the layers of rain falling like curtains outside, blurring the distant Forbidden Forest and mountains.

For some time now, Aisen had suddenly grown fond of the feeling of standing in the Astronomy Tower and looking at the scenery outside.

After a while, Aisen left here and headed towards the Library.

Now that Dumbledore already knew the information about the other two horcruxes, there was no need for him to say anything more; Dumbledore would find them.

As for Aisen himself, having just received Nicolas Flamel's Ancient Alchemy Secrets from Dumbledore, Aisen felt it was necessary to study it thoroughly.

Time slowly passed. For Aisen, every day was still very fulfilling. In addition to practicing various Charms, Aisendevoted a portion of his energy to researching Alchemy. It must be said that with Ancient Alchemy Secrets, Aisenquickly absorbed the knowledge from Alchemy Insights.

At the end of July, a small, unintentional discovery stirred a ripple in Aisen's heart.

On this day, while eating, Aisen was attracted by a news article in The Daily Prophet. The content made Aisen feel both surprised and unsurprised:

Ministry of Magic Staff Member Wins Big Award

Arthur Weasley, Head of the Ministry of Magic's Misuse of Muggle Artefacts Office, has won The Daily Prophet's annual Galleon Award. A thrilled Mr. Weasley told a Daily Prophet reporter, "We're going to spend the money on a summer trip to Egypt. Our eldest son, Bill, is in Egyptworking as a Curse-Breaker for Gringotts Wizarding Bank."

Next to the content was a black and white photo, and the figures in the photo were moving. The nine members of the Weasley family stood in front of a pyramid, waving their arms forward.

Besides Mr. Weasley and Mrs. Weasley, their six sons and one daughter also smiled. Ron stood in the middle of the photo, with his pet Scabbers perched on his shoulder.

It seemed the Weasley family would be staying in Egyptfor a month and would return before Hogwarts Schoolstarted. However, seeing Scabbers' figure appearing so openly in The Daily Prophet, Aisen had a premonition that Sirius Black might be about to escape from Azkaban.

However, speaking of Azkaban, Aisen found one thing very strange: there should be quite a few powerful criminals in the entire Wizarding World, but why was only Sirius Black able to successfully escape from prison by himself?

One must know that Azkaban is not a pleasant place. It is located on an isolated island in the North Sea. For prisoners, after their wands are confiscated, even if they can escape from their cells, it would probably be difficult to cross the sea to reach the mainland.

Furthermore, the guards of Azkaban are a group of Dementors. Dementors can absorb people's happy emotions. With these things guarding, the prisoners of Azkaban probably have no way or energy to think about how to escape.

Not to mention, a place as important as Azkaban would not be without some powerful protective magic. Therefore, it is almost impossible for prisoners of Azkaban to escape from within.

For example, Grindelwald, the first-generation Dark Lord, even if he was imprisoned in Azkaban, he only managed to escape successfully by having his subordinates use Polyjuice Potion to transform into him, using a trick to substitute him.

But unexpectedly, Sirius Black accomplished an unprecedented feat, escaping from Azkaban alone.

After much thought, Aisen felt that the only difference between Sirius Black and others was that he was an Animagus. He could turn into a dog.

Perhaps, when Sirius turned into a dog, the influence of the Dementors would be very small. Therefore, after being imprisoned for more than ten years, Sirius did not lose his sanity.

As for how he crossed the sea to escape to the island of England. Well—perhaps it was because dogs can swim? After thinking of this possibility, Aisen was momentarily at a loss for words.

The next day, just as Aisen had expected, the news that Sirius had successfully escaped from Azkaban spread. Aisen, who had taken some time off to leave Hogwartsfor errands, heard many people discussing the matter upon his return.

This matter was even broadcast as a hot news item on television in the Muggle World.

Of course, while Aisen was still busy with his own affairs, the Savior Harry was living a miserable life again.

Ron went to Egypt with his family, and Hermione also went to France with her family. Only Harry, who lived at the Dursleys, in order to get Uncle Vernon to sign the form allowing third-year students to visit Hogsmeade, had to admit in front of Aunt Marge that he attended St. Brutus's Secure Centre for Incurably Criminal Boys.

Of course, during this time, Harry's Aunt Marge said a lot of bad things, which infuriated Harry. So, an angry Harrydirectly inflated her into a round ball, causing her to float up.

Knowing he had made a "big mistake," Harry fled from home in a panic, then accidentally raised his wand to summon the Knight Bus, experiencing what it was like to be "cold" and "shaking"!

Aisen didn't pay too much attention to the Savior's plight. He knew that if there were no surprises, Harry would stay at the Leaky Cauldron for a month, and then travel to school with Ron and Hermione on the Hogwarts Express.

Should I capture a Dementor for research? This was a thought that suddenly occurred to Aisen. He knew that on the way to Hogwarts, the Trio would encounter Dementors for the first time.

As for why he wanted to research Dementors, it was mainly because Dementors were a bit too powerful. For example, besides the Patronus Charm, all other magichad no effect on Dementors.

Even the Patronus Charm could only ward off and repel Dementors, but not kill them. Therefore, this characteristic was something Aisen greatly envied.

If Aisen could isolate this characteristic and apply it to himself, he could basically walk sideways. As for whether capturing a Dementor would attract the attention of the Ministry of Magic, Aisen felt there shouldn't be any problem.

One should know that in the original work, after Kingsley Shacklebolt became Minister of magic, he took action to expel Dementors. This shows that Dementors are not a rare commodity.

Having made up his mind, Aisen began preparing to capture a Dementor.

On this day, Aisen left Hogwarts and apparated to his secret base.

Speaking of setting up a secret base for himself, it was just a small action Aisen took on a whim. After all, Aisenwas already planning to research and improve horcruxes, so the location naturally couldn't be in Hogwarts.

As for the Room of Requirement, Aisen didn't think it was as safe as imagined. Therefore, in his spare time, Aisendirectly excavated a secret base deep within an Antarctic glacier.

Fortunately, Aisen's Apparition Without A Trace was very convenient for movement, coupled with his magical abilities, the construction of the secret base was exceptionally simple.

After adding Charms such as Protego Totalum, Fortissimum, and Muffliato to the base, Aisen partitioned off a section next to the Alchemy Laboratory room, intending to set up a Dementor prison.

As for how to capture a Dementor, Aisen had already made some preparations. Since the only Charm that affects Dementors is the Patronus Charm, Aisen planned to find a way in this regard.

In the Alchemy Laboratory room, cold air constantly emerged from all sides, but for Aisen, these were not problems. A clear, transparent ice table was placed in front of Aisen, with a crystal ball on it emitting points of light.

The inside of the crystal ball had been hollowed out by Aisen, leaving only a crystal wall about an inch thick.

"Expecto Patronum—" The Patronus Charm was cast, and a faint silver light emerged from Aisen's fingers, continuously flowing around a strand of Unicorn hair.

Aisen did not cast the Patronus Charm with full power, so a complete Patronus did not appear. After the silver light on the Unicorn hair became brilliant, Aisen began to cast the Patronus Charm with full power, releasing his Patronus.

"Expecto Patronum—" Subsequently, a silver chain quickly formed in front of Aisen, looking like a solid metal object. The silver light on it quickly converged, then transformed into a silver halo that enveloped the entire room.

Chapter 141: Capturing Dementors (Part 1)

That's right, unlike others' Patronuses, what Aisen cast was less a Patronus and more a Patronus object.

Because Aisen's Patronus was a silver chain. When Aisenfirst successfully cast his Patronus and saw that his Patronus was actually a chain, he was dumbfounded for a long time.

After all, this was a very outrageous thing. But later, Aisen gradually came to terms with it. As for why his Patronus was different from others', Aisen didn't understand either, only guessing it might be related to his cheat ability.

Of course, another difference was that while others' Patronuses could manifest physically, they still looked relatively ethereal. Unlike Aisen's Patronus, which could directly transform into a seemingly solid metal chain according to his will.

This was also the biggest reason Aisen was unwilling to use his Patronus to send messages in front of others. After all, it was simply too conspicuous.

However, this situation left Aisen very puzzled: if he were to perform Animagus transformation, would the animal he turned into change randomly, or would it turn into a chain? This gave Aisen a huge headache.

The halo formed by the silver chain enveloped the room, and then a faint glow seeped out; a power, in Aisen's perception, spread throughout the entire room.

Aisen paid no mind to this, instead focusing his attention on the Unicorn hair in his hand. Silver light shimmered on it, and under Aisen's control, it gradually transformed and wove itself out of thin air.

Lines of Ancient Runes appeared out of thin air, enveloped by the light from the Patronus, and then combined and inscribed onto the Unicorn hair.

This was a magical method, which also incorporated the concept of the Transformation Charm from the Transfiguration branch. Theoretically, such a method didn't exist, but when Aisen's will was strong enough, this method became very reasonably possible.

Gradually, the glow of the silver chain Patronus subsided, while the Unicorn hair in Aisen's hand was woven and transformed into a smaller silver chain.

After carefully feeling it, Aisen found that the small silver chain made from Unicorn hair already possessed the characteristics and aura of a Patronus.

With a thought, the small chain in Aisen's hand rose into the air and entered the crystal ball on the table. It moved around within the crystal ball's wall, finally connecting end to end to form a seemingly flawless ring.

Subsequently, the silver chain that had enveloped the entire room disappeared under Aisen's mental control. Looking at the crystal ball on the table, after a faint silver light circulated a few times, its glow gradually subsided as well.

After letting out a long breath, Aisen nodded with satisfaction.

Although this was the first time he had implemented this method, Aisen had no doubt about its effectiveness in capturing Dementors.

After putting away the crystal ball, Aisen flashed and left the secret base. Next, it was time to wait for the Dementors to appear.

...

On September 1st, after having breakfast in the morning, Aisen arrived at King's Cross Station. Since the purpose of this operation was to capture Dementors, Aisen cast a Disillusionment Charm on himself to avoid being seen by others.

At ten forty, Aisen saw the figures of Harry and others from God's Perspective. The group got out of two cars, each carrying their luggage, and came to Platform 9 3/4.

After they had all passed through the wall to the other side of the platform and boarded the Hogwarts Express, Aisen, with his body concealed, followed directly to Platform 9 3/4 with a single Apparition Without A Trace.

Looking at the platform full of Wizards and witches sending their children to school, Aisen couldn't help but feel a bit emotional. This was not the first time he had stood on Platform 9 3/4.

The old steam locomotive parked on the adjacent track was still constantly emitting smoke. Every time he saw this scene, it gave Aisen the illusion of Space-Time reversing.

For ordinary Muggles, 1993 was already the information age, but for the Wizarding World, it seemed to be stuck in the steam age.

He wondered when the Hogwarts Express could be replaced by a high-speed train! This thought circled in Aisen's mind, and then he amused himself. For the Wizarding World, which was unwilling to change, perhaps such a 'ridiculous' idea would never be realized.

Of course, times change, and no one knows what will happen in the future.

In Aisen's line of sight, Mr. Weasley, along with Percy, Fred, George, and others, passed through car after car of full carriages and entered a very empty one, where he helped put the suitcases in. Then, Mr. and Mrs. Weasleysaid goodbye to each child.

Whoosh—

At eleven o'clock, the Hogwarts Express whistled and departed, heading towards Hogwarts. Aisen did not board the train, but instead flashed, instantly moving to the top of the last carriage, where he quietly sat down cross-legged.

Looking through the carriage, Aisen could see someone sitting by the window, seemingly asleep. This person was wearing a worn Wizard's robe with several patches, which looked quite old. He had a sickly complexion and looked exhausted; although only in his thirties, his light brown hair was already mixed with quite a bit of white.

If there were no surprises, this was the new Professor of Dark Arts at Hogwarts—Remus Lupin.

Lupin had an unfortunate experience in his early years. Because his father offended the Werewolf Fenrir Greyback, the Werewolf retaliated against Lupin. Thus, when Lupin was four years old, he was bitten by a Werewolf and became one.

Werewolves in this world were a very strange kind of monster; they would completely lose their minds on the night of the full moon and would attack friends and family in a frenzy. Therefore, after Lupin became a Werewolf, his parents basically gave up the idea of sending him to Hogwarts.

But after Dumbledore became Headmaster, he specifically planted a Whomping Willow on the school grounds, concealing the passage to the Shrieking Shackin Hogsmeade. This way, when Lupin was at school, he could go to the Shrieking Shack to transform on the night of every full moon.

And the screams and roars of Lupin transforming in the Shrieking Shack on the night of every full moon led to rumors of fierce ghosts circulating in Hogsmeade. In response, Dumbledore encouraged the spread of these rumors to keep people away from the Shrieking Shack. This way, people's safety was ensured.

Regarding this, Aisen could only say that Dumbledore, as Headmaster, was indeed very responsible, finding ways to ensure Lupin received an education at Hogwarts.

However, in Aisen's perception, werewolves in this world didn't seem to be a bloodline transformation, but rather a transformation caused by a disease, and an incurable one at that.

Even the Werewolf Potion later brewed by Professor Snape could only suppress the Werewolf's ferocity on the night of the full moon, restoring their sanity, but it couldn't completely cure them.

Therefore, in this world, Aisen also needed to be careful about one thing: not getting bitten by a Werewolf. Because if he were bitten by a Werewolf, Aisen was completely unsure if he could resolve it.

After all, the Werewolf problem was something the entire Wizarding World, including Dumbledore, couldn't solve. He certainly didn't think he could be unharmed after being bitten by a Werewolf.

However, on the other hand, if Potion-making in the Wizarding World were to develop further, there might not be a Potion that could completely cure lycanthropy in the future.

If that were truly the case, if Werewolf transformation could be controlled and sanity maintained, it might not be another form of Animagus transformation. After all, the Werewolf Potion could already restore a Werewolf's sanity on the night of the full moon; no one could say for sure that a more effective Potion wouldn't appear in the future.

The Hogwarts Express turned a corner, and in Aisen's line of sight, he saw Harry, Ron, and Hermione enter the carriage where Lupin was. Apparently, the Trio had searched around and finally found that only this carriage had empty seats.

The three of them entered this carriage, closed the door, and sat in seats slightly further from the window. It was clear that the Trio were somewhat apprehensive about the sudden appearance of an adult Wizard on the Hogwarts Express.

Chapter 142: Capture the Dementors (Part 2)

"Who do you think he is?" Ron suddenly asked after sitting down. It seemed the adult who had suddenly appeared on the Hogwarts Express had caught their attention.

"Professor Remus John Lupin!" Hermione whispered.

After two months, when Aisen saw her again, he was surprised to find that Hermione had grown quite a bit, as if she had taken hormones. Furthermore, not only had her face become a little thinner, but her figure had also become slender.

The phrase "prime of youth" truly fit Hermione at this moment.

"How do you know? Do you know him?" Harry, who was beside them, was startled.

"It's written on his trunk!" Hermione said, pointing to the luggage rack above Lupin's head, where a slightly worn trunk was tied with many ropes. The words "Remus JohnLupin" were printed on one corner, the letters having peeled off.

"What do you think he'll teach us?" Ron asked, looking at the two of them, watching Lupin who was still sleeping soundly on his side.

"Isn't it obvious?" Hermione rolled her eyes and then whispered, "Lockhart is gone, and there's only one teaching position open at Hogwarts, Defense Against the Dark Arts, isn't there?"

Defense Against the Dark Arts was indeed a complicated subject for the Trio. In their first year, Professor Quirrelltaught the course. In their second year, it was Professor Lockhart. In their third year, it changed again to Professor Lupin.

The Trio had already vaguely heard some rumors, rumors that no Professor could teach this course for a full year.

"Hmm—then I really hope he's up to the task." Looking at the sickly expression Lupin displayed, Ron became suspicious. "He looks really unwell, as if he's about to collapse just by casting a spell—"

"I think, since Dumbledore chose him, there shouldn't be any problem!" Hermione, however, had a calm expression.

"As if Lockhart wasn't chosen by Dumbledore—" Ronpouted, then turned to look at Harry. "What were you telling us earlier?"

Harry's expression changed, and he recounted the private warnings the Weasleys had given him, and so on.

Hermione covered her mouth with both hands, then lowered them and said worriedly, "Sirius Black escaped from Azkaban to find you? Oh, Harry, then you must be careful, you must be very careful. Don't go looking for trouble, Harry!"

"Of course I won't go looking for trouble!" Harryimmediately became a little annoyed. "Usually, trouble finds me."

"How foolish would Harry have to be to go find a madman who wants to kill him?" Ron shivered.

"Fortunately, we're going to Hogwarts soon. With Dumbledore at the school, he definitely wouldn't dare go there—" Hermione said, looking at Harry. "I mean, as long as you don't run around, you'll definitely be safe!"

"Hermione is right... where's that noise coming from?" Ron nodded, then suddenly looked around. A faint yet sharp whistling sound came, making Ron furrow his brows.

"It's coming from your trunk, Harry." Ron stood up and took Harry's trunk down from the luggage rack, weighing it in his hand. "Harry, your trunk isn't packed with anything?"

"That's right, but I have to keep up appearances, right?" Harry gestured with his hand, showing the storage ring to the two of them. Then, he stepped forward and took a miniature sneakoscope from the trunk.

"Put it back in the trunk, or you'll wake him up!" The sneakoscope emitted a piercing alarm sound, causing Hermione to frown and point to Professor Lupin next to them.

Then, Harry took out a pair of old socks, wrapped the sneakoscope in them, and stuffed it into the trunk. After closing the trunk, the sound was almost inaudible.

"We can check it out at Hogwarts," Ron said, sitting down. "Dervish and Banges sells these things, Fred and George told me."

"That's in Hogsmeade, right?" Hermione said very keenly. "I learned from a book that it's the only place in England without Muggles—"

"That's right, I want to go to Honeydukes candy store—" Ron said, saliva dripping from the corner of his mouth, and a dreamy expression appearing on his face.

"Leaving school for a while to explore Hogsmeade is a great idea, isn't it?" Seeing Ron's expression, Hermione's face froze for a moment before she turned to look at Harry.

"Yes, that's right, you must tell me when you feel that way," Harry said dully, his tone suddenly becoming low.

"What do you mean by that?" Ron looked at Harry in surprise, as if he had been woken up from a daydream.

"The Dursleys didn't sign that permission form for me, and I met Fudge at the Leaky Cauldron, and he wouldn't sign it either. I can't go!" Harry explained the reason.

"They won't let you go?" Ron was stunned for a moment, then seemed to think of something. "Maybe—Professor McGonagall, no, Professor Aisen can sign it for you! Otherwise, we can just ask Fred and George, they know a lot of secret passages in the Castle that lead outside—"

"No, Ron!" Hermione retorted loudly. "You just said that Sirius Black is still looking for Harry. Harry is safest staying at Hogwarts. I don't think Harry should leave the school—"

"But if we're with Harry, he wouldn't dare—" Ron wanted to argue, but seeing Hermione's displeased expression, his voice trailed off.

Sitting on the roof of the carriage, Aisen listened to the Trio's conversation and gradually felt sleepy. Feeling the speed at which the Hogwarts Express was constantly moving north, Aisen found it quite touching.

As the afternoon arrived, the sky gradually became gloomy. The clouds in the sky grew heavier, and it wasn't long before it started to rain. When raindrops fell above Aisen's head, they seemed to hit an invisible shield, sliding off to both sides.

The wind began to howl unnoticed, the raindrops also grew larger, and the Hogwarts Express moved slower and slower, gradually coming to a stop.

Squeak, squeak, squeak—

A short, piercing sound came, and a black shadow rushed towards the Hogwarts Express. Then, waves of bone-chilling cold seemed to appear out of thin air, as if to freeze everything.

With God's Perspective fully open, Aisen saw that the black shadow was a monster draped in a cloak, floating in the air. The monster's face was completely covered by a hood, and its two hands extended from beneath the cloak, glowing slightly, somewhat transparent, yet also like the color of something dead that had been soaked in water, a little gray and scabbed over.

Without a doubt, this thing was a Dementor.

The Dementor entered the carriage, seemingly sucking something out. The Little Wizards in the carriage were thrown into complete chaos. Facing the Dementor, Harryseemed to recall something terrifying, then slid off his seat and fainted.

Just as the Dementor was about to wreak havoc, the sleeping Lupin woke up at the critical moment, grabbed his wand, and cast a Patronus Charm at the Dementor.

Subsequently, a silver wolf appeared out of thin air, driving the Dementor out of the carriage.

Seeing this, Aisen's mind stirred. In his invisible state, he flickered and jumped to the Dementor's side out of thin air. Then, the surrounding air quickly twisted, and the space around seemed to be compressed, binding the Dementor there.

Then, Aisen took out the crystal ball cage he had prepared beforehand. With a turn of his thoughts, he could see the Dementor's size rapidly shrinking. The silver chains inside the crystal ball emerged from it, bound the Dementor, and then returned to the crystal ball.

Almost in an instant, Aisen had successfully captured a Dementor. Then, ignoring everything else, he Apparated Without A Trace directly to his secret base.

After entering the small compartment specifically for detaining Dementors, Aisen placed the crystal ball on the transparent ice table.

Inside the crystal ball's space, the shrunken Dementorstruggled left and right but was unable to break through the crystal ball's wall and escape. The silver chains within the wall emitted a faint silver light.

After pondering for a moment, Aisen took out a blank crystal ball, placed it next to the first one, and began casting magic. Since his magic power exceeded 10,000, his various Magical methods had become more effortless.

Aisen first released the Patronus silver chains, infusing their power into the crystal ball wall holding the Dementor. Then, he cast a spell to link the two crystal balls.

His finger traced through the air, and runes condensed in the air, fixed and floating above the crystal balls. Subsequently, the cold air around the room gradually gathered, converged, condensed, and then transformed into streams of silver energy that entered the runes, which were then converted into power and poured into the crystal ball containing the Dementor.

The crystal ball containing the Dementor, the silver chains within its wall emitted a faint silver light. The silver light gathered and shone through, passing through the Dementor, then condensed and flowed towards the other crystal ball.

This crystal ball, on the other hand, would surge with a burst of power every minute, continuously drawing in the surrounding cold air, gathering it within the room. It would then be condensed into energy and enter the runes above.

When Aisen stopped all actions, the two crystal balls and the runes floating above seemed to form a cycle, continuously operating.

Chapter 143: Conception

After deciding to capture the Dementors for research, Aisen intensified his study of Alchemy during this period.

With Nicolas Flamel's Ancient Alchemy Secrets, Aisen's progress in Alchemy surpassed his imagination. Whenever he felt he had made progress, Aisen would take out the Alchemy Insights that Dumbledore had previously gifted him and review it.

He even took the time to discuss it with Dumbledoreduring his leisure. Thus, in less than a month, Aisen's Alchemy skills had reached a very high level.

Even Dumbledore marveled at this, saying that Aisen's Alchemy talent was enviable. However, Aisen harbored doubts about this. On one hand, it was because Aisen's imaginative ideas were indeed different from ordinary Witches; on the other hand, it might have a great deal to do with the profound magic within Aisen's body.

After catching the Dementors, Aisen began an experiment.

Previously, Aisen felt that studying Dementors might feel like not knowing where to start. But fortunately, Dementors could still be countered by the Patronus Charm.

Therefore, Aisen began his research on Dementors from this angle.

Speaking of which, Aisen wondered if it was due to his greatly increased strength, but after he captured the Dementors, he felt that the power of his Patronus could not only dispel and suppress the Dementors but also subtly cleanse the characteristics of the soul-eating creatures.

This meant that if Aisen used his Patronus against Dementors for a long time, it seemed possible to crudely annihilate the Dementors directly. Although this speed might be very slow, for Aisen, it was definitely a pleasant surprise.

Of course, for Aisen, since he could cause fundamental damage to the Dementors, Aisen directly considered using the power of the Patronus to preserve the characteristics of the Dementors that were being annihilated.

Just like his cheat ability, after defeating the characteristics of the Dementors, he would preserve them in another crystal ball. In this way, it seemed possible to obtain an item with Dementor characteristics?

Since it would take a long time of experimentation to determine if it would be successful, Aisen simply cast a spell to gather the surrounding cold air to provide energy for the crystal ball's transformation.

Looking at the crystal ball constantly running on the ice table, Aisen had a premonition that perhaps in a few years, he would truly be able to obtain an exceptionally powerful magic item. As for what characteristics the item would have, Aisen was not certain.

However, even after all these methods were completed, Aisen still found it hard to believe. As for his level of Alchemy, Aisen did not believe that it had truly reached the point where he could handle Dementors.

But he had surprisingly achieved his estimated goal.

"It seems the influence of my cheat ability is probably more than just what is shown on the virtual panel!" Aisensaid thoughtfully after pondering for a while.

There were several reasons for Aisen's speculation. Firstly, when his Patronus was cast, it was completely different from those of other Witches. This was very strange.

Secondly, having grown in strength to this extent, he only now discovered that his Patronus had a capability somewhat similar to his cheat ability. However, the cheat ability could replicate characteristics from items, while his Patronus could affect the characteristics of living beings.

As for the third point, Aisen would need to confirm his speculation in his subsequent research on horcruxes.

Furthermore, putting everything else aside, consider Aisen's overall physical fitness. Although Aisen had stayed at Hogwarts for two years, he had basically never specifically trained his body.

But currently, his overall physical fitness was still slowly increasing.

With a thought, Aisen flashed outside into the icy and snowy world. Without using any other methods, he simply began to run.

Ten minutes later, Aisen stopped. By this time, he had run 10 miles.

Tiny beads of sweat seeped from Aisen's head. With a thought, magic flowed through his body, and he returned to his original state. Clearly, his physical strength alone had already reached the level of Captain America.

Seeing his physical fitness continuously and slowly improving, Aisen even had the urge to learn fighting techniques. Things like Tai Chi, Baguazhang, Wing Chun, Sanda, Muay Thai, etc., he wanted to learn everything he could.

Because in Aisen's view, having such good physical fitness would be too much of a waste if he didn't learn fighting techniques.

Originally, this thought appearing in Aisen's mind was normal, as learning fighting techniques could indeed enhance his combat power.

However, there was a problem before him. Even if he learned these fighting skills, they wouldn't have any effect on magic, which was quite perplexing.

What would be the outcome if Captain America fought a Witch?

Aisen thought Captain America throwing his shield might break the Witch's wand, thus achieving victory. But if the Witch reacted quickly and used a Barrier Charm and a Stunning Spell, Captain America would be defeated.

Of course, there was also a very important point, which was that the idealism of magic in this world was too high. This was extremely unfriendly to people who couldn't use magic.

However, speaking of Captain America, Aisen couldn't help but think of the sorcerers in that world. That's right, the combat sorcerers from Kamar-Taj who could open portals.

The sorcerers in that world and the Witches in Aisen's world were completely different professions. The most intuitive difference was that the magic in the bodies of the Witches in Aisen's world only increased with age. Whereas the power of the sorcerers from Kamar-Taj could be cultivated.

Cultivation aside, the energy they used for casting spells was borrowed. Whether it was borrowing the power of the Vishanti or the power of other dimensional demonic gods, it was a borrowed relationship. This way of casting spells came at a cost.

And in Aisen's world, the method of casting spells was more like directly using one's own power. Therefore, there was no need to pay any price. As for which was more powerful, Aisen felt it was difficult to compare.

After all, the upper limit of sorcerers in Marvel could reach the heavens, and traveling through the multiverse was effortless for the strong ones. In Aisen's world, let alone the concept of a multiverse, even within this single universe, Witches were confined to Earth.

Comparing them this way, the level of magic in Aisen's world was practically nothing. But surprisingly, in such a world, spatial magic capable of instantaneous movement and time magic capable of time travel existed.

Therefore, Aisen didn't find this particularly perplexing.

With a flash of his figure, Aisen returned to the secret base. Seeing that the cycle between the crystal balls was still running, Aisen went to the Alchemy Laboratory next door.

The workbench in the laboratory was carved from enchanted ice blocks. After converting the properties of the ice, it felt exceptionally convenient for Aisen to use.

On the table lay a purple Witch's robe, which looked ordinary and unremarkable.

Just as Aisen stepped forward, preparing to do something, he paused, remembering something.

Then, Aisen turned and began pacing in the area next to the table.

Earlier, Aisen's mind wandered, thinking of the upper limit of Kamar-Taj's magic. At this moment, he suddenly thought of a method, wondering if it could be researched here.

As for what method, it was, of course, Astral Projection, which could cause one's soul to leave the body. When the Ancient One shattered Strange's worldview and guided him into the world of magic, she used this technique.

Aisen certainly didn't hope to travel the multiverse through this method. He wondered if, by developing a similar technique, he could directly use it on Harry Potter, and after forcing his soul out of his body, would Voldemort's soul fragments also have nowhere to hide?

To create such a magic from scratch in another world, Aisen felt it was unlikely, but in this world, the possibility was quite high.

The reason was simple: the magic in this world was sufficiently idealistic and sufficiently wondrous.

Taking a deep breath, Aisen vanished from the secret base in a flash. When Aisen reappeared, he was already at Hogwarts.

Since the Trio were fine, Aisen didn't need to pay attention to them anymore. Therefore, after arriving at Hogwarts, Aisen went directly to Dumbledore's office.

Chapter 144: Another Year Begins

"Professor Aisen? Is something the matter? The Start-of-Term Feast is about to begin!" Professor Dumbledoreasked after welcoming Professor Aisen into his office.

"The Start-of-Term Feast—well, I almost forgot. I suppose I can come back to see you after the feast!" Professor Aisen paused, a smile appearing on his face. "By the way, Professor Dumbledore, your injuries should be—"

"Thank you for your concern, they have completely healed!" Professor Dumbledore winked at ProfessorAisen, then extended his right hand. The charred marks on it had completely disappeared.

When Professor Aisen arrived at the Great Hall, it was already filled with students. Thousands of candles floated above the tables, illuminating everyone's faces.

"Hagrid, had a good holiday, did you! Also, congratulations!" Professor Aisen looked at Hagrid beside him; his messy hair and beard seemed to have been tidied up slightly.

"Ha, it was alright, thank you, Professor Aisen!" Hagridraised a glass of wine towards Professor Aisen. Seeing Hagrid's beaming smile, he seemed very satisfied with his new position as Hogwarts' Professor of Care of Magical Creatures.

Since the Basilisk in the Slytherin Chamber of Secretswas dealt with, Hagrid's life finally reached a turning point.

Fifty years ago, Hagrid was suspected of instructing a monster to kill Moaning Myrtle. He was not only expelled from Hogwarts but also had his wand snapped. If not for Professor Dumbledore's strong support, he would have even been sent to Azkaban.

Now, since Hagrid was proven innocent, he could naturally use a wand openly. However, Professor Aisenfelt that Professor Dumbledore's decision to appoint Hagrid as Professor of Care of Magical Creatures might not be entirely appropriate.

It wasn't that Hagrid's ability was insufficient for the position, but rather that he would, to some extent, overlook how Little Wizards would react when faced with magical creatures he considered very cute but were actually quite fierce.

With that thought, Professor Aisen didn't dwell on it. After smiling slightly at Hagrid, he activated his God's Perspective and already saw two Dementors standing guard at the two entrances to Hogwarts.

It was clear that the Ministry of Magic had made arrangements at Hogwarts to deal with Sirius Black, who had escaped from Azkaban.

Shifting his gaze again, Professor Aisen saw the Trio in Professor McGonagall's office, and Madam Pomfrey was also there.

After the sorting ceremony ended, the Trio and Professor McGonagall walked into the Great Hall one after another.

Professor Flitwick picked up the Sorting Hat and the three-legged stool and left the Great Hall. Professor McGonagall stepped forward and sat in an empty seat at the teachers' table. The Trio, meanwhile, walked all the way to the empty seats at the Gryffindor table.

It must be said, the Savior was always so eye-catching, so as the Trio walked along the back of the Great Hall, almost everyone was pointing at him.

On one hand, it was because Harry Potter, the Savior, had such a great reputation. On the other hand, it was because the incident of him fainting earlier had spread.

Professor Dumbledore stood up, a posture that caused all the students to quiet down involuntarily.

"Welcome!" Professor Dumbledore's beard, a foot long, glittered in the candlelight, and his blue eyes, seen through his half-moon spectacles, shone with wisdom. "Welcome everyone to Hogwarts for the new school year! I have a few words to say to you, one of which is very important, to make clear before you are bewildered by the feast before you.

After searching the Hogwarts Express, you must know that several Dementors have been seconded by the Ministry of Magic from Azkaban to perform official duties here!"

Watching Professor Dumbledore speak, Professor Aisencould clearly feel that Professor Dumbledore was actually unwilling to allow Dementors into Hogwarts.

But there was nothing he could do; the Ministry of Magic's reason for doing so was legitimate—to prevent Sirius Black from entering the school and posing a threat to the students. Therefore, Professor Dumbledore could only accept this arrangement.

"They are stationed at all entrances to the school grounds, and while they are here, I must make it clear that no one is to leave the school without permission." Professor Dumbledore's expression was particularly solemn, then he glanced at Harry. "Dementors are not fooled by disguises—not even an invisibility cloak."

Hearing Professor Dumbledore say this, Professor Aisencouldn't help but feel a little emotional. The invisibility cloak, one of the Deathly Hallows, had such a grand reputation, said to be able to evade Death's search.

Yet in reality, Professor Dumbledore could see Harrywhen he was wearing the invisibility cloak. Of course, it was one thing for Professor Dumbledore to see through it; after all, as the most powerful Witch of his time, it was understandable for him to be special.

But why could Mad-Eye Moody's magical eye also see through the invisibility cloak's disguise? Also, Dementors, Filch's cat, and Hagrid's dog didn't seem to be fooled by the invisibility cloak either.

Of course, what Professor Aisen found most outrageous was that it seemed Harry had an indelible dark history of being directly knocked out by a Charm from Draco while wearing the invisibility cloak.

He wondered if such a thing would still happen after so many changes to the plot in this world!

"Dementors are by nature incapable of understanding excuses or requests, so I warn each of you, do not give them an excuse to harm you." Professor Dumbledorepaused, then continued, "I hope the Prefects, and the newly appointed Head Boy and Head Girl, will ensure that no student comes into conflict with the Dementors."

The Savior Trio were in their third year, so this year's Head Boy and Head Girl were Percy and Penelope, respectively.

Speaking of which, Harry's parents also served as Head Boy and Head Girl at Hogwarts. Percy and Penelopelooked like a match made in heaven, but unfortunately, they didn't end up together after graduation.

As for why they didn't end up together, the original work didn't mention it much. But from some scattered remarks, it can be inferred that it might have been because Penelope disliked Percy's stance on Voldemort's return, which was the same as the Ministry of Magic's.

"On a happier note, I am delighted this year to welcome two new teachers to our ranks." Professor Dumbledorecontinued, "The first is Professor Lupin, who will be filling the vacant post of Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts."

Professor Lupin stood up, smiled, nodded around, and then sat down.

Professor Aisen noticed that the Trio clapped very hard. It seemed that Professor Lupin's use of the Patronus Charmto drive away the Dementors had left a deep impression on the Trio.

However, the other students were not as enthusiastic, offering only scattered applause. After all, among all the Professors, Professor Lupin's attire did look a bit shabby.

Regardless of the students' attitude towards the Professor, Professor Aisen could clearly see Snapestaring intently at Professor Lupin, his face even slightly contorted.

If one only knew the surface information, they would think Snape's behavior was merely because Professor Lupinhad taken the Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts position that Snape wanted to apply for.

But in reality, the two had already become enemies during their student years. After all, during their student days, Professor Lupin was part of Harry's father James's group. Therefore, there was nothing to say about Snape's dislike for Professor Lupin.

"I must regretfully inform you that our Professor of Care of Magical Creatures, Professor Kettleburn, retired at the end of last year." Professor Dumbledore continued after the not-so-enthusiastic applause for Professor Lupin died down.

"However, I am delighted to tell you that the second newly appointed Professor is none other than Rubeus Hagrid. He has agreed to take on teaching duties in addition to his role as gamekeeper!"

When Hagrid stood up, his tall figure was full of presence. Seeing his face flushed, he seemed extremely excited. Below, at the Gryffindor table, the applause was particularly warm. Professor Aisen also took the opportunity to clap, expressing his welcome to Hagrid's appointment.

"Well, I believe the important matters have been covered, let the feast begin!" Professor Dumbledore said before sitting back in his seat.

Instantly, plates on the tables were filled with food out of thin air, and goblets were filled with drinks. For a moment, the entire Great Hall was filled with the sound of laughter and chatter, and the clinking of knives and forks.

When the food on the plates disappeared, Professor Dumbledore announced that all students should go to rest. This clearly marked the end of the new year's Start-of-Term Feast.

As the Prefects from each year led the newly enrolled Little Wizards back to their respective common rooms, Professor Aisen followed Professor Dumbledore all the way to the Headmaster's office.

Chapter 145: Astral Projection?

The new school year had just begun, but the entire Hogwarts was already bustling. The whispers of Little Wizards in the corridors and aisles constantly reached Professor Aisen's ears. This popularity, compared to the previously empty Castle, was more delightful.

A few minutes later, Professor Aisen and Professor Dumbledore arrived at the Headmaster's office.

"Alright, Professor Aisen, was there something you came to see me about earlier?" Sitting behind his desk, Professor Dumbledore's face showed a hint of curiosity.

"Well—yes, there are indeed some things I need to mention!" Professor Aisen sat on a chair nearby and looked at Professor Dumbledore.

Upon hearing Professor Aisen's words, Professor Dumbledore's expression suddenly became strange: "Hmm—Professor Aisen! Don't tell me, you've found another Horcrux?"

"Of course not, I don't have that much of a connection with horcruxes!" Professor Aisen couldn't help but roll his eyes, figuring Professor Dumbledore thought he could find all the horcruxes.

"So, what do you want to talk about?" Professor Dumbledore paused slightly in his tone.

"Earlier, we discussed creating a new magic to expel the fragment of Voldemort's soul from Harry's body." Professor Aisen's expression turned serious. "I wonder, what progress has been made?"

"It's extremely difficult, and there are still no leads. I have to say, horcruxes are indeed an incredible invention!" Professor Dumbledore's face also became solemn.

"So, is there no way to extract the soul fragment from the Horcrux?" Professor Aisen felt it was a bit absurd. Since magic is so subjective, such a method should theoretically be researchable.

"Remorse!" Professor Dumbledore's eyes narrowed.

"Remorse?" Professor Aisen repeated, a thoughtful look appearing in his eyes.

"That's right, making a Horcrux is a very evil Black magicthat requires splitting one's soul. But if one truly understands what they have done and can sincerely feel remorse, their soul can become whole again!" Professor Dumbledore nodded and said.

"But obviously, Voldemort is not likely to have any thoughts of remorse!" Professor Aisen said calmly, but couldn't help but inwardly complain that if Voldemort could feel remorse, the sun would rise from the west!

"Yes, well—" Saying this, Professor Dumbledore looked at Professor Aisen, as if asking something.

"Professor Dumbledore, I think you can take a look at this—" Professor Aisen's expression became serious, and he took out a comic book from his storage ring, opened it to a certain page, and handed it to Professor Dumbledore.

"This is—" Professor Dumbledore looked curious and took it.

"A comic from the Muggle World, I find some of the concepts inside quite interesting." Professor Aisenpointed with his finger and then sat back down on the chair.

Professor Dumbledore carefully read the content on the page Professor Aisen had turned to in the comic book, while Professor Aisen sat quietly beside him without disturbing him. For a moment, the office fell silent.

A few minutes later, Professor Dumbledore looked up and said to Professor Aisen with deep meaning: "Astral Projection?"

"Yes, a magic conceived by Muggles, Astral Projectioncan allow one's soul to leave their body. Perhaps you can consider this aspect and develop a new Charm." Professor Aisen calmly stated his idea.

"This is a new approach, perhaps worth trying." Professor Dumbledore pondered for a while, then slowly nodded.

Professor Aisen nodded without showing any emotion or speaking, seemingly thinking about something. After a moment, Professor Aisen looked at Professor Dumbledore, hesitated slightly, but still spoke: "Do you think Occlumency is useful?"

"You mean—" Professor Dumbledore frowned.

"The fragment of Voldemort's soul has been splattered on Harry for over ten years now, and the connection between Harry and Voldemort will become increasingly close. So, will there be a day when Harry's thoughts are influenced or even occupied by Voldemort's soul fragment—" Professor Aisen stopped here, believing that Professor Dumbledore had understood his meaning.

"Harry is different from Tom, he chose Gryffindor, and he has many true friends—" Professor Dumbledore said, but then his tone shifted, "However, you are right, that connection does make Harry unsafe, so are you planning to teach him Occlumency?"

"Harry had nightmares for a period of time, so I taught him Occlumency, but I don't know if he learned it." Professor Aisen explained simply.

"You did the right thing, Harry does need Occlumency to sever the connection with Tom." Professor Dumbledorereached out and returned the comic book to ProfessorAisen.

Over two years, although Professor Aisen's progress in Occlumency was slow, he had successfully mastered it. However, Professor Aisen was temporarily unable to reach the level of creating fictional memories in his mind.

But thinking of Occlumency, Professor Aisen also remembered Legilimency, which is the opposite of Occlumency. Clearly, in the Wizarding World, Legilimency is also a divine skill.

This ability is not just mind-reading; it can also interpret others' memories and emotions, and even modify others' memories to some extent.

From this perspective, Legilimency and Obliviate might have some common ground.

However, Professor Aisen was certain that Legilimencywould be useless against him. This is because Legilimency cannot simply read someone's memory out of thin air without a sound. It requires an action, which is to invade someone's brain, and only then can the action of reading memories and emotions be completed.

And the current Professor Aisen, not to mention having already learned Occlumency, just his vast magic within his body is enough to resist external magic invading him.

"So, is there anything else?" Seeing that Professor Aisendidn't speak, Professor Dumbledore continued to ask.

"Oh, no!" Professor Aisen stood up, intending to leave.

However, as he turned around, an idea suddenly popped into Professor Aisen's mind, so he paused and turned back to look at Professor Dumbledore, "Right, Professor Dumbledore, I have a question I'd like to ask!"

"What?" Professor Dumbledore looked at ProfessorAisen suspiciously.

"Summoning Charm, does this spell have a distance limit?" Professor Aisen looked curious. "I mean, summoning objects over extremely long distances. For example, summoning across countries, across continents, or even across planets!"

Upon hearing Professor Aisen's question, Professor Dumbledore's mouth twitched slightly, and then he looked at Professor Aisen with a strange expression.

"Have you tried it?" After a moment of silence, Professor Dumbledore asked in return.

"No, that's why I'm asking you, the most powerful Witch of this era!" Professor Aisen shook his head.

"The further away the object you want to summon with the Summoning Charm, the greater the difficulty of summoning. But as long as you truly concentrate your will and focus completely, the summoned object will fly over. So—" Professor Dumbledore explained, giving ProfessorAisen a meaningful look.

"So theoretically, summoning across planets is achievable. Right!" Professor Aisen's face showed a look of understanding.

"That's right, so what do you need to summon?" Professor Dumbledore became curious about ProfessorAisen's idea.

"I think, since hufflepuff's golden cup and slytherin's locket are highly likely to have been made into horcruxes by Voldemort, why not try using the Summoning Charm?" Professor Aisen said earnestly.

"That's not a good idea!" Professor Dumbledore shook his head. "The Summoning Charm can be countered by an Intercepting Charm. If Tom really made hufflepuff's golden cup and slytherin's locket into horcruxes, I believe he would definitely cast spells to intercept any possibility of them being summoned away by the Summoning Charm."

After leaving Professor Dumbledore's office, ProfessorAisen was still thinking about the Summoning Charm. Professor Aisen had been practicing the Summoning Charm all along, and to describe its execution as 'at will' would not be an exaggeration.

When casting this spell to summon a certain object, one must concentrate their will and imagine the specific object in their mind. In other words, it is impossible to summon something directly just by its name.

In other words, if Professor Aisen wanted to summon the sun, he would have to specifically imagine the appearance of the sun in his mind. To summon the moon, he would have to imagine the appearance of the moon in his mind.

As for Professor Aisen shouting "Meteorite, come!" and summoning a meteorite to fall, that is basically impossible. Perhaps he might be able to do it when his magic level reaches the heavens in the future, but it's definitely not possible now.
