Chapter 20 - Ch: 193-201

Chapter 193: Quidditch Matches Are Too Unfair

The Gryffindor and Ravenclaw match was about to begin, but before it started, Gryffindor's final training session made all the Gryffindors, including Harry and Ron, cheer.

That evening, when Harry and Ron returned to the Gryffindor Common Room after eating in the Great Hall, they were stunned to see Hermione still diligently studying behind a precarious pile of books.

Since the Firebolt was about to be used on the training ground, Harry and Ron were both exceptionally excited, but seeing Hermione work so hard still left them somewhat dazed.

"Harry, how do you think she manages?" Seeing that the pile of books had already obscured Hermione's body, Ron's face turned a little pale.

"Manages what?" Harry whispered, looking over.

"She has so many classes!" Ron lowered his voice too. "That morning, I heard her talking to Professor Vector, the Witch who teaches Arithmancy. They were discussing the previous day's homework. But Hermione took Care of Magical Creatures with us, so there's no way she could have also taken Arithmancy. And Ernie told me Hermionehas never missed a Muggle Studies Class. But that class clashes with Divination for half the time. How does she manage never to miss either class?"

"I don't know—" Harry shook his head, pausing before looking at Ron. "What do you think? Could it be some kind of magic? When we chose our courses in second year, she said she had already talked to Professor McGonagall. Could Professor McGonagall have taught Hermione a spell?"

"I've never heard of that kind of magic," Ron froze for a moment but didn't want to directly contradict him.

"You can't possibly know all the magic, can you!" Harry's expression had already calmed down.

"You're right," Ron shrugged, then changed the subject. "Come on, bring your Firebolt. I want to ride it after training."

On the Quidditch Pitch, because the Dementors had already been removed, Madam Hooch was no longer supervising the Gryffindor team's practice.

Aisen, having nothing else to do, came to the Quidditch Pitch to see how Harry would display his prowess.

Before training, Gryffindor team captain Wood held the Firebolt in his hand and spoke volubly about its advantages: "The tail of the Nimbus series brooms is slightly tilted, which becomes a hindrance after a few years, but the Firebolt has improved on this. Its balance is greatly enhanced, and the handle of the broom has been finely processed..."

From the stands around the pitch, Aisen watched Harryquickly take off from the ground on the Firebolt, weaving across the pitch.

For a time, Harry seemed to be the most dazzling figure on the entire pitch. Not only was he incredibly fast, but his turns also always made many Little Wizards in the stands scream.

From God's Perspective, Wood waved to Harry and released the golden snitch. As a result, Harry caught it in just ten seconds on the Firebolt.

Immediately after, Harry released the golden snitch, and a minute later, Harry was weaving across the pitch again, finally catching the golden snitch once more near his teammate Katie's knee.

Watching the cheering Gryffindor players on the pitch, Aisen couldn't help but fall into thought.

To be honest, when Aisen first saw Witches flying on broomsticks, the thought that popped into his mind was, "Doesn't it hurt to sit like that?"

Especially when diving downwards on a broomstick, that posture—Aisen found it almost unbearable to watch. However, after learning more, he discovered that broomsticks have Cushioning Charms on them.

At first glance, the Cushioning Charm does seem like a perfect patch, solving the problem Aisen was curious about. But upon deeper thought, one realizes that this patch isn't so simple.

Simply put, Cushioning Charms are definitely not cast by the Little Wizards themselves. Otherwise, first-year Witches would surely be told about it by the Flying instructor during their first Flying Class.

That is to say, the Cushioning Charm is fixed onto the broomstick. This means that an invisible and intangible cushion can make a Witch feel the sensation of a real cushion.

From Aisen's perspective, this point was quite magical.

Half an hour later, the training ended. At Wood's call, the Gryffindor team players landed on the ground one after another and returned to Gryffindor Tower.

Harry didn't leave; he waved directly at Ron, who was eagerly walking onto the pitch nearby, and then handed the Firebolt to him.

It seemed Ron was also going to experience the power of the Firebolt.

Night had already fallen, but Ron, with a face full of joy, quickly ascended on the Firebolt, weaving through the stands and flying across the pitch.

After the final training session, the Gryffindors were full of confidence. Whether it was Captain Wood, the Beaters Fred and George, or the Chaser Emily, everyone was completely confident about the upcoming match.

The next morning, a little after ten, Gryffindor and Ravenclaw prepared in the changing rooms and then went to the Quidditch Pitch.

Around the stands, the entire school's teachers and students were basically already waiting for this grand event.

Lee Jordan, friend of the Weasley Twins, served as commentator as usual, and Madam Hooch was the referee. Professor McGonagall, Professor Snape, Professor Dumbledore, and others were also watching the match from the stands.

Aisen sat in a corner of the Gryffindor section, silently taking in the atmosphere of the Quidditch match.

"Mount your brooms... On my whistle... Three—Two—One."

The match began. Everyone took to the air, but Harry on the Firebolt was particularly eye-catching. He was the fastest to ascend and went the highest.

Seeing Gryffindor's high morale and their quick lead of eighty points over Ravenclaw, Aisen knew. Barring any accidents, Gryffindor was certain to win this match.

From the situation on the pitch, although Ravenclaw's Seeker, Cho Chang, was Harry's opponent, even if Harryhad fallen for her at first sight, he couldn't possibly go easy on her in front of everyone.

Sure enough, Harry quickly spotted the golden snitchseveral times and finally caught it directly, ending the match. There was nothing the opponent could do; their broomstick was a Comet 260, far inferior to the Firebolt.

"We won!"

"We are victorious!"

"Well done, Harry!"

"Brilliant!"

The Little Wizards in the Gryffindor section of the stands cheered. Ron led the way, rushing onto the pitch first.

Watching Harry surrounded by the crowd, Aisen couldn't help but feel a sense of lament.

Although Quidditch matches also require high levels of skill and strategy, they seem to be heavily reliant on equipment. Unlike sports in the Muggle World, whether it's football or basketball, victory is determined by the athletes' own strength and skill.

You never hear of someone wearing a pair of trainers and gaining several percent in speed.

But in Quidditch matches, the equipment, the broomstick, does everything. A poor broomstick can never catch up to a top-tier broomstick.

Thinking this, Aisen suddenly felt that it would be fairer to standardize the broomsticks for both teams in a Quidditch match.

Just like before, Malfoy's father bought Nimbus 2001s for all the Slytherin team members. As a result, the Slytherinteam's matches against other teams were almost always crushing victories.

After the match ended, everyone was hotly discussing what had happened on the pitch, especially the sight of Harry displaying his prowess on the Firebolt, which left a deep impression on everyone.

The Gryffindor students even planned to hold a celebration directly in the Gryffindor Common Room.

After Gryffindor defeated Ravenclaw, their score quickly rose, but for Harry and the others, it felt just like they had already won the House Cup.

In the blink of an eye, several days had passed.

However, the match between Gryffindor and Ravenclawcaused a great stir at Hogwarts. Harry's Firebolt was simply too powerful, so much so that people from Hufflepuff House also came to see Harry's Firebolt.

As for the Slytherins, they looked as if they had been struck by lightning, their faces extremely unpleasant. Especially Draco Malfoy, who used to swagger around Harry, became much more subdued after seeing Harrydisplay such prowess this time.

However, from Malfoy's sullen gaze, it was clear that he seemed to have never given up on plotting some schemes.

Chapter 194: Body Enhancement

On the last Wednesday of February, Aisen gave the Little Wizards an impressive Astronomy Class in the evening. The next morning, he arrived at the secret base early to continue his experiments.

During this period, Aisen's proficiency in Alchemy steadily improved, and he also made significant progress in refining the method of solidifying magic effects on the body.

Looking at the Antarctic ice fish rolling and swimming in the fish tank, Aisen felt a little hesitant. Unlike the fish Aisen had successfully modified before, the flow of runes inside this fish did not stay in the flesh and bones, but instead deeply shrunk and hid within every single cell.

It was as if this fish had become a true magical creature, appearing completely natural without any trace of modification.

Although Aisen could still sense the power within it, he was very satisfied now. After all, he really couldn't integrate extraordinary characteristics onto himself in a more subtle way like the cheat.

However, should he directly modify his own body? For a moment, Aisen began to ponder.

Speaking of which, the reason he researched such methods was because Aisen had always held a stubborn impression of the Witch community, or rather, the mage community, which was that of 'glass cannon mages'.

In Aisen's view, mages or Witches indeed possessed powerful strength. Powerful Witches or mages, like Dumbledore, Voldemort, Grindelwald, and others, could cast powerful magic.

To a certain extent, they could destroy the world. At the very least, the magic within Aisen himself increased every day, and the power of his Charms reaching a world-destroying level was absolutely not a problem.

However, even so, he himself was still a weak flesh and blood body, and this was something he couldn't change. Precisely because of this, Aisen, who had been baptized by various cultivation and fantasy novels in his previous life, had always held a trace of obsession with a powerful body.

Although Aisen's overall physical fitness would slowly increase with the growth of his magic, if there was a method that could directly turn him into a super man, possessing a body like a body of steel, Aisen would still be very eager.

Fortunately, when Aisen delved deeper into the path of Alchemy and discovered that he could solidify magiceffects onto the body, he had the idea of directly modifying his own body.

If Aisen truly transformed his body into a steel body similar to a super man, the increase in his own strength would be certain. But this was only a superficial increase in strength and would not resolve Aisen's greatest concern deep down.

Given Aisen's current strength, he didn't pay much attention to ordinary magical methods anymore. Only concerning Avada Kedavra, one of the three Unforgivable Curses, did he have considerable concerns.

Because Avada Kedavra is an instant-death Charm; as long as it hits, one will die. Dumbledore's pet Phoenix is immune, but it will also be reborn from ashes.

To say, is Aisen still afraid of not being able to deal with Avada Kedavra? In fact, whether it's Aisen's reaction speed, or entering a static world after transforming into light, or directly Apparition Without A Trace to leave instantly, Aisen can directly dodge Avada Kedavra.

At worst, using Transfiguration to create a physical barrier to block can also deal with Avada Kedavra.

But the problem is, what Aisen wanted was not just this; what he wanted was to be able to directly become immune to Avada Kedavra.

To put it bluntly, Aisen's expectation for his own strength was that even if he were lying asleep, allowing other Witches to attack him, even if they cast Fiendfyre Curseor Avada Kedavra, they would not be able to cause him any harm.

Aisen believed that if he could truly achieve this, then he wouldn't need to be just a passerby Professor at Hogwarts anymore. He could happily stir up trouble in the Wizarding World without fear.

And to achieve this, Aisen was still self-aware; he didn't think the method of solidifying magic effects on the body, which he had researched and perfected, could achieve it.

Therefore, last year he had already thought of and captured a Dementor for research.

The purpose was to use the characteristics of a Patronus to expel and collect the Dementor's characteristic of being immune to all magic into a crystal ball, and then use the cheat on him to directly replicate this characteristic.

When he was experimenting at the time, he had a strong intuition that the experiment would succeed. It was just that the time spent, in Aisen's view, was indeed a bit long.

Since the Dementor's characteristic of being immune to magic was still nowhere to be seen, researching the method of solidifying magic effects onto the body to strengthen it was put on the agenda.

Some time ago, Aisen's experiment of this kind succeeded, but the experimental effect was not perfect, so he did not directly modify his own body.

Now, the effect has been greatly improved, and it has met his expectations. As for continuing the research to reach the level of the cheat, Aisen only recently discovered through research that the difficulty is extraordinarily high. Unless his strength undergoes a leapfrog growth.

Fortunately, the method is now much more complete and has met his expectations.

Therefore, if he were to compensate for the shortcomings in his body and strengthen and modify it now, he felt there would be no problem.

After letting out a long breath, Aisen collected his thoughts. Then, with a thought, the water and fish in the fish tank were instantly frozen, then turned into flames, Fiendfyre, and finally dissipated without a trace.

Next, Aisen was going to strengthen and modify his own body.

At first glance, this method had only been created for less than a year, and Aisen dared to use it on himself. But in reality, it was also thanks to his creation of a bug-like ability like the Dream God Spell.

In the Dream World, because the flow of time was adjusted to an exaggerated degree, Aisen had actually spent at least five years or more on researching and perfecting the experiment.

Moreover, in the Dream World, Aisen could directly virtualize a body identical to his own for research, so although Aisen was directly working on his own body, he had a great deal of confidence.

With a thought, a crystal clear ice platform grew out of thin air beside the laboratory table. Then, Aisen flashed and lay down on it.

After the observation characteristic was activated, the God's Perspective range was limited to the area around Aisen's body, reflecting everything within a three-zhang radius in his mind.

"Indestructible—"

A card was taken out by Aisen, and a magic was cast using the card as a carrier. Then, under Aisen's method, wisps of threads appeared on it.

Looking closely, those threads were formed by the arrangement and combination of magical texts and runes shrunk to the extreme. The threads glowed with golden light, falling from the card and drilling into Aisen's body.

Threads continuously emerged from the card, drilled into Aisen's body, moved within the flesh and blood, and finally settled in the bones. They seemed to be constantly strengthening Aisen's body.

After all the threads were drawn from the card, the card instantly turned into dust.

At this time, the threads within his body were still flowing continuously between the bones and flesh. But Aisen did not stop his actions, and took out another card, loading the magic effect onto it.

"Unbreakable—"

Then, repeating the previous action, wisps of runes and magical texts appeared and entered Aisen's body. After the card turned into dust, a third card appeared in Aisen's hand.

"Utmost Strength—"

...

"Utmost Resilience—"

...

"Waterproof and Fireproof—"

...

"Armor—"

...

By the time Aisen completed these actions, an hour had passed.

Indestructible, Unbreakable, Utmost Strength—the magiceffects of these three spells were presented as runes and magical texts, then integrated into the bone cells throughout Aisen's body, and finally settled down.

As for the magic effects of Waterproof and Fireproof, and Armor, after being presented as runes and magical texts, they were directly inscribed and integrated into the skin cells throughout Aisen's body and settled down.

In addition, the magic effect of the spell Utmost Resilience, specifically the runes and magical texts within it, directly penetrated through bones, flesh, internal organs, and skin, connecting all the cells throughout the body.

After all these actions stopped, the magic within Aisen's body began to surge.

This act of strengthening and modifying his body seemed to trigger a chain reaction. As the magic surged within his body, it seemed to invade every cell throughout his body, connecting with all the runes and magical texts, becoming their source of energy.

Subsequently, the Time Travel characteristic and Immortality characteristic that were originally dormant within Aisen's body seemed to be slightly stirred. However, after carefully sensing, Aisen found that the Time Travel characteristic and Immortality characteristic were still dormant within his body.

Chapter 195: Body of Steel

With a thought, the ice platform beneath Aisen vanished, and he flashed outside the secret base.

After stretching his body, Aisen couldn't help but frown. Then, as if remembering something, he transformed a playing card into a sharp sword and gripped the hilt.

Aisen extended his arm and, holding the sword, drew it directly across his arm. Instantly, it felt as if he were cutting through incredibly tough cowhide, encountering immense resistance.

Afterward, Aisen looked at his arm, which had been cut by the sharp blade, but found not the slightest damage. Not even a tiny scratch was left behind.

Wisps of cold air spread outside, but they had no effect on Aisen.

The sword in his hand then transformed into a ten-centimeter-thick alloy steel plate. Then, Aisen clenched his fist and smashed it forcefully onto the plate. A fist print an inch deep was dented into the alloy steel plate, but his hand was completely unharmed.

Clearly, Aisen's body enhancement had been a great success. Through this magical modification, Aisen now possessed a body of steel like a super man.

However, Aisen had not created a Charm for immeasurable strength. So, unfortunately, although he had a body of steel like a super man, he did not possess the super man's ability to carry mountains and fill seas.

Of course, even so, the smile on Aisen's face couldn't help but emerge.

With such a body, Aisen was essentially certain that physical attacks in this world would have no effect on him. As for magical attacks, Aisen had solidified Armor, which should be able to defend against a large portion of Charms.

But powerful and advanced Charms like Avada Kedavraand Fiendfyre Curse should not be blocked.

But it didn't matter, Aisen hadn't been foolish enough to directly use his body to withstand the Killing Curse for experimentation anyway. Besides, he still had quite a few magical items on him, and he could continue to fuse them later after accumulating Miracle Trait.

However, would this body enhancement modification conflict with the extraordinary traits replicated and fused into his body by the cheat?

After this thought flashed through his mind, Aisen, with a thought, directly activated God's Perspective. Instantly, the scene within a five-mile radius was reflected in his mind.

Closing God's Perspective, the smile on Aisen's face grew even wider.

As expected, the ability of God's Perspective was still under Aisen's control. It felt as if his own ability to solidify magical effects onto his body was not on the same level as the trait abilities fused into his body by the cheat.

It was like two separate systems operating and lying dormant within Aisen's body, but without any conflict.

So, would other abilities be affected? Aisen thought, and instantly transformed into light, entering the world of light.

In the world of light, Aisen's consciousness speed was pushed to its limit. After quickly traveling around Antarctica a few times, he returned to the secret base.

After returning to human form, Aisen no longer had any concerns. Clearly, the ability to elementalize his body had not been affected by the body enhancement modification.

It seemed that Aisen's enhancement modification method had penetrated to the cellular level, modifying the life information to some extent. Therefore, the method of elemental transformation did not fail.

This was good news for Aisen, because it meant that his method of solidifying magical effects onto his body was indeed very complete.

After the body enhancement was completed, Aisenflashed back to his office at Hogwarts.

That evening, while Aisen was eating in the Great Hall, he encountered many Little Wizards enthusiastically discussing some matters about the Professor of Dark Arts, Lupin.

Afterward, Aisen went to the Library and scanned some books, saving them in his Dream World, in the Memory Palace scene.

Upon returning to the staff common room, Aisenunexpectedly heard Harry and Ron's voices outside an abandoned classroom.

"What do you think Malfoy is up to, Harry!"

"I don't know, but him breaking into Professor Lupin's office must be some kind of plot."

"That's right, because Gryffindor beat Ravenclaw, Malfoyhas even been avoiding you lately. That bad seed is definitely planning something wicked!"

Hearing this, Aisen paused his steps and directly pushed open the classroom door and walked in.

"Professor Aisen—" Harry and Ron turned their heads to look and then called out in unison.

"Are you talking about Malfoy?" Aisen sat down on a nearby stool and looked at the two with suspicious eyes.

"That's right!" The two exchanged glances, and Ronnodded, giving a definite answer.

"Can you tell me what's going on?" Aisen's interest was immediately piqued.

"Harry and I saw Malfoy sneak into Professor Lupin's office, but—" Ron said, unable to help swallowing.

"But everyone knows Professor Lupin is sick, why would Malfoy sneak into Professor Lupin's office? He must have some plot." Harry took over the conversation and said solemnly.

"What plot could Malfoy have? I mean, he couldn't possibly pull out his wand and attack Lupin, could he!" Aisen spread his hands, a thoughtful expression appearing in his eyes.

Harry and Ron were stunned and immediately realized. It seemed that saying this wasn't wrong. After all, Professor Lupin's magical level was incomparable to Malfoy's.

"Could Malfoy have gone to steal something from Professor Lupin's office?" Ron suddenly remembered something, and his breathing quickened considerably.

"That's right, just like Ron and I did last year in Lockhart's office—" Harry's eyes lit up, but halfway through his sentence, an awkward expression appeared on his face.

Aisen looked at the two meaningfully. They had immediately thought of stealing things from a Professor's office.

Before Aisen could continue asking questions, a sudden, hoarse voice from outside reached his ears. The sound was extremely shrill, even having a quality that could make people weep upon hearing it.

"Professor Aisen, that's Malfoy's voice—" Ron showed a surprised expression. After exchanging glances with Harry, he found that Harry was also looking at him in surprise.

"Could it be—" Harry couldn't help but speculate, "Malfoywas caught stealing by Professor Lupin, and he punished him?"

With a serious expression, Aisen quickly walked outside. Harry and Ron exchanged glances and followed closely behind.

Upon reaching the corridor and heading towards Professor Lupin's office, Aisen found that many Little Wizards had already flocked there. The door to Lupin's office was open, and several Little Wizards had squeezed inside.

With God's Perspective activated, the scene in Professor Lupin's office was reflected in his mind, and Aisen had seen everything.

The office had almost no decorations and looked quite shabby, but there was a large water tank in the corner. Inside, there was a water creature used for lectures, occasionally flipping around and making some noise.

But Aisen's attention was directly focused on the center of the office, where Malfoy stood frozen in place, his right hand tightly gripping his wand, pointing directly at the area under the desk.

There, a creature was curled up. Its size was similar to a human's, but its body was covered in gray fur. What was terrifying was that its head looked exactly like a wolf's head.

Clearly, this was Remus Lupin after transforming.

"Oh my god—"

"A Werewolf has broken into Hogwarts—"

The Little Wizards who entered the office, upon seeing what had happened, immediately screamed and backed away.

And Malfoy, as if waking from a dream, screamed and ran out.

"What happened?" Harry rushed forward, following behind Aisen.

"What's with Malfoy?" Looking at the disheveled Malfoyrunning out, Ron's face held no joy, but instead a look of intense confusion.

"Quiet—" Aisen's voice spread out loudly, stunning all the Little Wizards. Then, rays of light appeared, falling on the Little Wizards' heads and calming their emotions.

After everyone had calmed down, Aisen looked at the Werewolf under the table: "Professor Lupin!"

Harry and Ron followed behind, and upon hearing Aisen's words, they looked in the direction Aisen was looking, and immediately discovered the Werewolf's presence.

"Oh my god, how is this possible?" Ron couldn't help but swallow, glanced at Professor Aisen in front of him, and forced himself not to back away, "Professor Lupin is a Werewolf?"

The Werewolf curled up under the desk nodded, its gaze fixed on Aisen, clearly not having lost its mind and gone mad. This indicated that Lupin had already drunk the Werewolf Potion.

Aisen felt that none of this should have happened. After Lupin drank the Werewolf Potion, he just needed to quietly wait in his office for the transformation to pass.

Furthermore, Lupin had already found a reason; everyone knew he was "sick." But somehow, Malfoy, for some inexplicable reason, broke into Lupin's office.

Chapter 196: The Werewolf Lupin

For a moment, the scene was extremely quiet, and many Little Wizards covered their mouths, as if about to scream.

If Professor Aisen hadn't been standing directly in front of Lupin, many people would have probably already panicked and fled. However, even so, everyone looked at the Werewolf under the desk with fear.

"Don't worry, everyone! Although Professor Lupin has transformed into a Werewolf, he hasn't lost his mind; he is safe!" Professor Aisen's voice rang out again.

Lupin looked at Aisen with gratitude in his eyes, but these words didn't seem to change the current situation.

The sound of footsteps echoed as Professor Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall, and Professor Snape hurried over.

"Oh my goodness!" Professor McGonagall seemed unable to believe what she saw after entering the office.

"I'm not surprised at all that a Werewolf attack has occurred within the Castle!" Professor Snape's face bore a cold, gloomy smile as he looked maliciously at the transformed Lupin, then his gaze drifted to Dumbledore, "I remember I specifically reminded you, Headmaster, do you remember?"

"Yes, Severus, many unexpected things always happen suddenly when people aren't paying attention," Dumbledore remained calm, "But I think your Potions skills should be sufficient to handle all sorts of surprises, right!"

"Of course, he drank the Werewolf Potion I brewed, so he is completely harmless now!" Snape's sneer was particularly obvious.

However, the atmosphere on the scene was still terrifyingly heavy. Even with Snape reiterating that Lupinwas safe and harmless, all the Little Wizards still dared not approach, only watching from afar, seemingly hoping Dumbledore could subdue the Werewolf.

However, seeing this situation unfold, Aisen felt a sense of relief. He was glad that the Professors had arrived quickly. Otherwise, if some students had acted rashly, it might have caused greater chaos.

"Very good!" Dumbledore nodded quickly, his voice carrying a calming power, then turned to look at Aisen, who was standing in the middle of the office, "I think, Aisen, you can explain exactly what happened?"

"Headmaster, at that time—" Aisen spoke unhurriedly.

But before he could say anything, Malfoy, who had run out, came in with a look of horror, pointed at the transformed Lupin, and said in a hoarse voice, "That monster attacked us, he wanted to bite me!"

"You're talking nonsense! Ron and I saw it, you secretly broke into Professor Lupin's office!" Harry glanced at Professor Dumbledore, then pointed at Ron.

"That's right, Harry and I both saw it, Malfoy secretly broke into Professor Lupin's office. You say he wanted to bite you? You must be crazy to go find a monster?" Ron's face was a little pale, but seeing the Professors nearby, he still told the truth of what he had seen.

"Everyone knows that Professor Lupin is sick, I just had some Defense Against the Dark Arts questions to ask him, but after going in, I was attacked by that monster—" Malfoy came to Professor Snape's side and continued to argue.

But the reason he gave was very valid, and for a moment, Harry and Ron couldn't refute him.

After all, it is absolutely reasonable for a student to ask a Professor for guidance.

"This is a shocking accusation!" Snape looked coldly at the transformed Lupin, "Malfoy, are you sure everything you said is true?"

"Yes, Professor, at that time I wanted to ask a question, but I saw that monster, and then it wanted to attack me!" With Snape's support, Malfoy's confidence grew, and his voice no longer trembled.

"You're lying!" A voice suddenly came from outside. Although the voice wasn't loud, it was unusually clear in the tense atmosphere of the office.

Everyone turned their heads and were surprised to find it was Gryffindor's know-it-all, Hermione Granger. Hermione instantly became the focus of attention for the school's teachers and students.

Under everyone's gaze, some Little Wizards made way, moving to the sides to let Hermione walk in and stand beside Aisen.

Seeing Hermione's confident demeanor, Aisen gave her an appreciative look.

Seeing Hermione like this, most of the Little Wizardswere very surprised, not understanding why she was so sure Malfoy was lying. However, Snape and Malfoy, as well as some Slytherin Little Wizards, had gloomy faces and looked at Hermione with undisguised malice and disgust.

"The Professors said that the Werewolf before us is indeed Professor Lupin!" Hermione said slowly.

But these words caused a stir in the crowd. However, Hermione didn't let everyone continue discussing and continued, "Perhaps you think Professor Lupin will attack everyone, but I know very well that Professor Lupin is different from other werewolves. He is not dangerous after taking the Werewolf Potion. This Potion allows him to maintain enough clear-headedness when he transforms into a Werewolf."

Many Little Wizards had just heard Dumbledore and Snape's conversation and knew that Professor Lupin had taken the Werewolf Potion. Now, after hearing about the effects of the Werewolf Potion, they showed a look of realization. No wonder Snape said he was harmless now.

"The Werewolf Potion can ensure that he hasn't lost his mind. Although his appearance is now that of a Werewolf, he is still the Professor Lupin we know. So it's impossible for him to attack a student. Clearly, Malfoy lied—" Hermione spoke eloquently, only showing a look of pity when she looked at Lupin.

"Wait, know-it-all!" Snape suddenly spoke, "As the brewer of the Werewolf Potion, I have to say that it can indeed keep a Werewolf rational, but it doesn't guarantee that a Werewolf won't bite."

Seeing that Snape still had such an argument, Aisen also spoke, "That's true, but I think everyone understands what kind of person Professor Lupin is. Since Professor Lupin can remain rational, he naturally wouldn't attack others. I think Professor Dumbledore thinks so too, right!"

Dumbledore gave Aisen a meaningful look and nodded slightly without saying anything.

And many Little Wizards, after hearing Aisen's words, suddenly recalled how Professor Lupin treated them in class. Clearly, as the Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts, Lupin was the best one they had encountered among all the previous Professors.

The content he taught was always so interesting, and he patiently answered everyone's questions. Immediately, a buzz of discussion arose, and many Little Wizards no longer looked at the transformed Professor Lupin with such fear.

"Professor Aisen means that Malfoy lied?" Snapenarrowed his eyes and glanced at Aisen. From the surface, it was impossible to see any change in his emotions.

"Perhaps Malfoy was frightened and had hallucinations. He might need to rest with Madam Pomfrey for a while!" Aisen said calmly, without directly answering Snape's question.

"Of course I believe Professor Lupin wouldn't harm us!" Fred strode in, even waving and greeting the transformed Professor Lupin.

"That's right, this look is cool, isn't it?" George also stood beside Aisen.

With the Weasley Twins doing this, the atmosphere seemed to become less oppressive.

"Alright, Severus, I think everyone is already very clear about what happened, aren't they?" Dumbledore said calmly.

"Yes, Headmaster, I know you trust him!" Snape's face was cold as he gave Lupin a gloomy look and turned to leave.

Subsequently, Malfoy and the Slytherin students also left one after another.

"Alright, students from all houses, return to your common rooms!" Dumbledore finally spoke.

The Little Wizards quickly retreated from Lupin's office and walked towards their respective common rooms. They were whispering all the way, seemingly still discussing what had happened earlier.

The previous events had shaken them too much. Who would have thought there was a Werewolf in Hogwarts Castle? And this Werewolf was Professor Lupin, who the Professors had deemed harmless.

The Professors' statements reassured many Little Wizards.

Although Professor Lupin wouldn't lose his mind or attack students after transforming into a Werewolf. But thinking about Professor Lupin teaching them Defense Against the Dark Arts in the future, the Little Wizardsalways felt a little awkward.

Chapter 197: Grudges

Aisen did not go back, but instead followed the Trio to the Gryffindor Common Room.

Sitting on a sofa near the fireplace, Aisen could still hear other Little Wizards nearby discussing Professor Lupin's transformation into a Werewolf.

"That's terrifying, I can't believe there's a Werewolf at Hogwarts!"

"Don't talk nonsense, Dumbledore said that Professor Lupin drank the Werewolf Potion and won't go crazy and attack us!"

"What I mean is, it's unbelievable that Dumbledore would agree to a Werewolf being a Professor at Hogwarts."

"Do you believe Professor Lupin would attack us?"

"Of course not, if he wanted to attack us, he would have had plenty of opportunities. You know, he's been teaching us for almost a year."

...

"Professor Aisen, will Professor Lupin be alright?" Hermione sat on the other side of the sofa, looking at Aisen with worry.

Harry and Ron sat on the chairs opposite, silent, wondering what they were thinking.

"Of course he'll be fine, Professor Lupin was invited by Dumbledore to be the Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts, he naturally knows what's going on with Professor Lupin's situation," Aisen said.

"Professor Aisen, some time ago in Professor Lupin's office, I saw him drink a Potion brewed by Snape, that was the Werewolf Potion, right?" As if he had thought of something, Harry's eyes suddenly lit up and he looked at Aisen.

"That's right—" Aisen nodded, "If a Werewolf wants to maintain their sanity during transformation, they must take the Werewolf Potion. But the Werewolf Potion is a very complex Potion, and at Hogwarts, only Snape can brew it."

Ron and Hermione also remembered Harry mentioning this, and suddenly looked enlightened.

"Then why did Snape—" Ron's face showed confusion.

"Headmaster Dumbledore invited Lupin to be the Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts, so he instructed Snape to brew the Werewolf Potion for Lupinto take, to ensure he wouldn't lose his mind after transforming. Snape certainly couldn't refuse this."

Aisen said, glancing at the Trio, and then continued, "However, Snape has always been at odds with Lupin, they had conflicts as early as when they were students at Hogwarts School."

"I know that—" Harry suddenly spoke, pausing for a moment, seeming a little embarrassed, but still continued, "During the holidays, I stayed with Sirius, and he told me some things about my father when he was at school. Um, my father and Sirius Black, Professor Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew were friends, and they were always at odds with Snape..."

Harry spoke in a strange tone, describing the mutual hostility between Snape and his father's group.

After Harry finished speaking, he saw that Ron and Hermione had their mouths wide open, staring at him in astonishment. Aisen's expression, however, was calm, as if he had no reaction at all.

"You mean, while they were at school, your dad and Siriusbullied Professor Snape?" Ron's face showed a strange expression, "Then he must have been bullied terribly, I really want to see what his face looked like back then!"

Hearing this, Aisen's face darkened a little. How could this kid Ron's focus be so skewed?

"So, because Professor Lupin is good friends with your dad and Sirius Black, Snape has always been hostile towards him?" Hermione looked at Harry and nodded thoughtfully.

"That's right!" Harry said, scratching his head. Then, seeming a little embarrassed, he hesitated for a moment before continuing, "You all know about the Shrieking Shack, right?"

"Of course, we've been to Hogsmeade twice, everyone knows the Shrieking Shack is haunted," Ron quickly said.

"Actually, the Shrieking Shack isn't haunted—" Harryglanced around, and seeing that no one was paying attention, he began to speak.

"How is that possible, everyone knows the Shrieking Shack is the most haunted place in all of England," Hermione interrupted him before he could finish.

"Listen to me—" Harry whispered, "Professor Lupin was already able to transform into a Werewolf when he was at school, and it was Headmaster Dumbledore who specifically arranged for Professor Lupin to hide in the Shrieking Shack when he transformed on the full moon."

"You mean the rumors of the Shrieking Shack being haunted are actually the roars of Professor Lupin after he transformed into a Werewolf inside?" Hearing the truth of the matter, Ron was somewhat incredulous for a moment.

"That's right, remember the Whomping Willow outside the Castle?" Harry nodded and continued.

"Of course, how could I forget it!" Ron's expression gradually became fierce, "Our car crashed into the Whomping Willow back then, and if Professor Aisenhadn't intervened, we would have been beaten to death by it. Also, your Nimbus 2000 was smashed by it!"

"Yes, actually that Whomping Willow was planted by Headmaster Dumbledore, and underneath it is the passage to the Shrieking Shack," Harry said, baring his teeth.

"Dumbledore must have planted the Whomping Willowto block that passage to prevent other students from entering the Shrieking Shack through it, to avoid being attacked by Lupin when he transformed into a Werewolf!" Hermione said with a certain tone.

"So that's how it is—but even so, is there a problem?" Ronnodded but seemed to remember something and looked directly at Harry.

"Snape, in order to catch my dad and Sirius in the act, always wanted to know where Professor Lupin went on the night of the full moon—" Harry whispered.

"The Shrieking Shack?" Hermione seemed to have thought of something, and a deep look of worry appeared on her face.

"Once, Sirius deliberately leaked to him the way to enter the Shrieking Shack from the Whomping Willow. As a result, Snape was almost killed by Lupin when he transformed into a Werewolf!" Harry said, his brows slightly furrowed.

"Good heavens, didn't Sirius know what the consequences would be?" Hermione looked at Harry in surprise.

"Yes, Sirius told me that's what he was thinking at the time. They were always hostile towards each other—" Harry said and then fell silent.

"But Snape didn't die, right, otherwise, he wouldn't be able to teach us Transfiguration!" Ron said, spreading his hands.

"Yes, my dad finally saved Snape from Lupin!" Harrynodded, his face heavy, wondering what he was thinking.

"But if your dad could save Snape from a Werewolf, that means your dad was also there at the time, otherwise, he couldn't have gotten there!" Hermione looked at Harry's expression with even more surprise.

"Sirius said that after he leaked the information to Snape, he told my dad about it. Then my dad rushed there," Harry said.

"Professor Aisen, what do you think?" Hermione nudged Aisen's arm.

Aisen hesitated. In fact, he probably understood their grievances and entanglements. But Aisen clearly didn't know what kind of mindset Black had when he leaked the method of entering the Whomping Willow to Snape at that time.

However, Aisen guessed that Black was either reckless and didn't care about the life and death of his annoying rival Snape, or he was malicious and intended to use this method to directly kill Snape.

Regardless of the possibility, after Black did all this, he must have told James Potter, who was nearby. Otherwise, as Hermione said, James Potter, who wasn't there, couldn't have rushed to save Snape.

As for why Harry's father would save Snape, his love rival, that's easier to understand. After all, they were both present, and the consequences of sitting idly by and letting Snape be killed by the transformed WerewolfLupin would obviously be quite serious.

If such a thing really happened, the mildest consequence would be Lupin being expelled. He might even be locked up in Azkaban or even executed. After all, a Werewolfkilling a student at Hogwarts is no minor crime.

As for James Potter and the others, it's estimated that after the truth was found out, they would inevitably bear some responsibility. Perhaps they would also be expelled from Hogwarts.

Obviously, this outcome was unacceptable to Harry's father.

Of course, perhaps James Potter didn't think so much and simply wanted to save Snape, his love rival. But Aisenbelieved that James Potter should have considered the various consequences.

"Well, perhaps Harry's father didn't know that Siriuswould tell Snape the way to enter the Whomping Willow, so after he found out, he thought Sirius Black's actions were wrong and rushed there to save Snape," Aisen looked at the Trio and slowly expressed his guess.

The Trio nodded upon hearing Aisen's explanation but said nothing.

For a moment, they fell silent.

Chapter 198: Dumbledore's Compromise

After a moment, Hermione seemed to suddenly remember something and looked at Harry in surprise: "No wonder Snape has particularly disliked Harry from the start, it turns out he's always been hostile towards your dad!"

"But didn't his dad save Snape?" Ron asked, slightly confused.

"Didn't he say, his dad and Sirius Black were already hostile towards Snape before, and in the end, Snape was even saved by an enemy? Just think about it, that feeling is absolutely the most irritating thing!" Hermione said with an expression like she had seen through everything.

"Alright, those are things of the past, don't think about them anymore!" Professor Aisen said directly.

Hearing Professor Aisen say this, the Trio exchanged glances and all breathed a sigh of relief, feeling the atmosphere suddenly less oppressive.

"Professor Aisen, so, is Professor Lupin alright?" Hermione looked at Professor Aisen.

"Mm!" Professor Aisen nodded. "Malfoy might tell his father and then report this to the Ministry of Magic. But Dumbledore was there and confirmed that Lupin had taken the Werewolf Potion beforehand, so he won't be in trouble. But—"

"But what?" Harry's face showed surprise.

"But whether Lupin can continue to serve as Professor of Dark Arts is uncertain," Professor Aisen slowly voiced his speculation.

In fact, after it was revealed that Lupin was a Werewolf, even if he could be proven harmless and wouldn't attack Hogwarts students, Professor Aisen didn't think he could continue in the position of Hogwarts Professor.

Because, after the students knew the Professor was a Werewolf, even if they knew he was safe, their mindset would inevitably change. Once the parents put public pressure on the school, Dumbledore certainly couldn't insist on Lupin continuing in the position of HogwartsProfessor.

"Is that so?" Harry opened his mouth but didn't know what to say.

He wanted to say that Professor Lupin was the best Professor of Dark Arts, but he also knew it was impossible to let the Little Wizards face a Werewolfdirectly. Perhaps, many Little Wizards had already developed a fear of Professor Lupin.

The Trio all thought of this possibility, and their faces instantly turned grim.

...

Amidst the gossip of the entire school's staff and students, or rather, most of them, the fact that Remus Lupin, the Hogwarts Professor of Dark Arts, was a Werewolf quickly spread throughout the Castle.

The next day, when Professor Aisen was eating in the Great Hall, he faintly heard a group of Little Wizardsdiscussing the matter.

"What do you think? Will the school fire Professor Lupin? I think it's such a shame!" a third-year Hufflepuff student said anxiously.

"I don't know, but Dumbledore guaranteed that Professor Lupin wouldn't hurt anyone, which means he should be alright!" his friend seemed to be comforting him.

"I hope Professor Lupin is alright, his Defense Against the Dark Arts Class is the most interesting one."

"Hmph—, don't even think about it, my father already knows about that monster attacking me, it won't be long before the Ministry of Magic locks him up in Azkaban—" Malfoy from the Slytherin table, who seemed to have overheard the Little Wizards' conversation, said with a sinister smile, revealing his plot.

Malfoy's sinister demeanor fell into the eyes of the Little Wizards, and everyone immediately glared at him.

"Malfoy, you despicable fellow, you want to slander Professor Lupin so he gets fired and Snape takes over? Don't dream about it, Dumbledore would never allow it!" Hot-tempered Ron directly confronted Malfoy.

"Just you wait!" Malfoy didn't seem angry, he just sneered and said nothing more.

That noon, after the matter had been fermenting for a while, there was a faint feeling of an impending storm within Hogwarts Castle.

As Professor Aisen was preparing to go to the Libraryand passed by the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, he found Minister Fudge and Malfoy's father, Lucius Malfoy, inside, attacking Dumbledore.

"I must remind you, Dumbledore! The matter of a Werewolf appearing at Hogwarts is very important!" This was Lucius Malfoy's voice.

Stopping silently, Professor Aisen leaned against the corner, opened God's Perspective, and listened quietly.

He saw that Dumbledore's face was devoid of any unnecessary expression. After glancing at Minister Fudge, he fixed his gaze on Lucius and said calmly, "You're right, I was just about to discuss this matter. So, do you have any suggestions?"

"I wouldn't call it a suggestion, but I believe the fact that the Hogwarts Professor of Dark Arts is a Werewolf has already spread throughout the school." Lucius wore a cold smile on his face, and as he looked at Dumbledore, a hint of smugness flickered in his eyes.

"That is indeed regrettable, but everyone trusts me and believes Remus Lupin is harmless!" Dumbledore blinked, saying calmly.

"Don't say that, as a student's parent, I believe this Werewolf is too dangerous." Lucius's mouth curved into a sneer. "Everyone knows that werewolves who have taken the Werewolf Potion can indeed maintain their sanity, but Hogwarts students have no ability to protect themselves, so we cannot rely on a Werewolf to follow the rules."

"Lucius, is that what you think?" Dumbledore looked at the other man and mused.

"That's right, even a Werewolf who has taken the Werewolf Potion is unsuitable to remain at Hogwarts. We should take him back to the Ministry of Magic, or even hand him over to the Wizengamot for trial!" A look of triumph flashed across Lucius's face before he looked at Fudge beside him.

"Just as I thought, Lucius!" Fudge expressed his agreement. "The current situation is very bad. It's not about whether the Werewolf is safe and harmless after taking the Werewolf Potion, but the fact that a Werewolfbecoming a Hogwarts Professor has been exposed, the impact is too negative."

"No, Lupin is innocent, you have no evidence of him attacking anyone, and I can vouch for him!" Dumbledoresaid solemnly, looking at the two men.

"Dumbledore, you are right, and I believe your guarantee is convincing." Lucius had a hint of playfulness on his face. "However, if the students' parents know that a HogwartsProfessor is a Werewolf, they won't care if he is safe and harmless."

Dumbledore's face turned a little grim. After taking a deep look at Lucius and Fudge, he seemed to be weighing the pros and cons.

A moment later, he looked at the two men and said, "Alright, I agree to Remus Lupin leaving Hogwarts, but I believe this matter must end here—"

"Of course, since Hogwarts will expel a Werewolf, and he hasn't caused any other harm, I don't think the outside world will discuss this too much! Minister Fudge, what do you think?" Lucius's face was full of smiles.

For Lucius, getting rid of Lupin seemed like a victory over Dumbledore.

"Dumbledore, your approach is very cautious, but I must say, it's the best choice!" Fudge smiled and nodded, seemingly very satisfied with Dumbledore's 'submission' to him.

Seeing this, Professor Aisen was at a loss for what to say for a moment. Seeing that Dumbledore, Lucius, and Fudge were about to come out of the classroom, Professor Aisen glanced around, cast a Disillusionment Charm on himself, and hurried to the Library.

Entering the Library, he went deep inside and hid behind a random bookshelf. Professor Aisen sat at a desk and quietly began to think.

Regarding the events that had occurred, Professor Aisenalways felt they were a bit outrageous.

Logically, Peter Pettigrew had already been imprisoned in Azkaban, and the matter of Sirius Black had also been resolved, so Lupin's identity as a Werewolf shouldn't have been exposed.

In other words, Lupin should have been able to serve as Professor of Dark Arts at Hogwarts for a year without incident. But unexpectedly, something went wrong somewhere, leading to Draco Malfoy directly barging into Lupin's office.

Barging in would have been one thing, but it just happened to be when Lupin was transforming into a Werewolf.

As a result, after the fact that Lupin was a Werewolf was exposed, Hogwarts naturally couldn't keep him.

Just as Professor Aisen had heard Lucius say earlier, werewolves who have taken the Werewolf Potion are indeed harmless, but it is also inappropriate for a harmless Werewolf to remain at Hogwarts.

Seen this way, Dumbledore's compromise with Luciusand Fudge was actually a matter of course.

Of course, none of what happened was particularly troubling for Professor Aisen. After all, it didn't affect him in any way.

Chapter 199 Lupin Leaves School

Sitting on the chair at the desk below the bookshelf, Aisen propped his chin with his hand, deep in thought.

Professor Lupin's identity as a Werewolf being exposed seemed unlikely, but in fact, it had a certain inevitability.

Leaving other things aside, just Hermione's perception of Lupin likely led her to suspect him long ago. Especially Snape's recent assignments targeting werewolves, this unusual behavior might have drawn her attention a long time ago.

However, regarding the inevitability of this incident, Aisenwasn't sure if it was a butterfly effect caused by him changing the plot, or a historical change caused by his Time Travel back to the past some time ago.

However, thinking that he hadn't heard any unusual news in the Wizarding World recently, Aisen felt that the possibility of it being a butterfly effect caused by him changing the plot was greater.

In that case, should I try the Time Travel experiment back to the past again?

Some time had passed since the last Time Travelexperiment, but it seemed nothing unexpected had happened. Now, Aisen vaguely understood that his actions hadn't changed history.

Thinking of this, Aisen immediately felt his restless heart stir. However, after looking at the row of bookshelves in front of him, Aisen let out a long sigh and decided to conduct the experiment another time when he had free time.

After reining in his scattered thoughts, Aisen got up, took a book from the bookshelf, and quickly flipped through it.

Of course, saying he was flipping through it, he was actually just rapidly turning the pages.

Because Aisen wasn't here to study certain knowledge or materials, but rather to directly use the opportunity of flipping through the book to scan and imprint its content into the Dream World.

In this way, Aisen could fill the memory palace scene in the Dream World with the books from the Hogwarts School Library.

As time passed, books were scanned and imprinted into the memory palace by Aisen, and the empty bookshelves were continuously being filled.

Actually, this speed was very slow for Aisen, but unfortunately, Aisen couldn't directly manifest the Dream World and reflect it onto the real world, so he couldn't instantly scan and move all the books from the entire Library into the Dream World.

Therefore, Aisen had to personally flip through and scan the books one by one.

In a flash, evening arrived. After Aisen left the Library, he came to the Great Hall.

Aisen found that the Little Wizards were still discussing Professor Lupin while eating.

After listening for a long time, Aisen finally understood that after the matter had fermented for a period, the Little Wizards' views on Professor Lupin being a Werewolf had split into two factions.

One faction believed that Professor Lupin was the best Professor of Dark Arts they had ever met, and with Professor Dumbledore's guarantee, they hoped Professor Lupin could continue to serve as Professor of Dark Artswithout being affected.

The other faction believed that Hogwarts should dismiss him.

Actually, there was nothing wrong with this. After all, it was natural for Little Wizards to be afraid of some terrifying monsters. Even if some of them could overcome this fear, the psychological impact would always remain.

Once Little Wizards were in this state for a long time, their learning efficiency would naturally be much worse. Therefore, this faction's view also made a lot of sense.

The next day, everyone was still discussing the extraordinary events that had happened before. Because Lupin hadn't shown up for two days, many people speculated whether he had already been locked up in Azkaban.

"Professor Aisen--" Hermione leaned closer to Aisen and whispered.

Aisen turned his head to look, showing a confused expression as he looked at her, then motioned for her to continue.

"Is Professor Lupin really going to be locked up in Azkaban?" Hermione asked. Harry and Ron, who were beside her, also looked at Aisen, waiting for his answer.

Had the agreement between Dumbledore and Lucius, Fudge not spread? Aisen's face showed a thoughtful expression.

As soon as God's Perspective opened, Aisen saw that Lupin was still in his office. However, judging by the way he was packing his luggage, it seemed he was planning to leave Hogwarts?

Glancing at the Trio with expectant looks, he said in a calm tone, "No, Professor Lupin is still in his office!"

"So, Professor Lupin is alright?" The Trio all breathed a sigh of relief, and Harry eagerly pressed for an answer.

"No, he should be starting to pack his luggage now." Aisen slightly shook his head.

"Packing luggage?" Harry looked at Aisen in surprise, then exchanged a glance with Ron and continued to ask, "Why is that?"

"To leave Hogwarts, of course, isn't it?" Aisen said calmly, "After something like this happened, Professor Lupin is bound to resign and leave."

"I'll go see him." Harry suddenly stood up, not even bothering to eat, and said to Hermione and Ron.

"If he resigns, then we--" Ron shrugged.

"We definitely can't help much!" Hermione was a bit downcast; it seemed she was very concerned about Lupin's sudden resignation.

"I want to see him, I'll find you later!" Harry ignored Hermione and Ron's words and walked directly towards the Professor of Dark Arts' office.

"Professor Aisen?" Watching Harry disappear in a flash, Hermione nudged Aisen's arm.

"It's alright, you know, Professor Lupin is Harry's father's friend. It's good for Harry to go see him!" After a moment of thought, Aisen shook his head, indicating there was no need to worry.

While Aisen, Hermione, and Ron were slowly eating breakfast here, on the other side, Harry's figure appeared in Lupin's office.

Entering the office, Harry found that the door to Lupin's office was wide open, and most of the things inside had been packed up. The tank containing the Grindylow was completely empty and had been placed by Lupin next to his worn-out suitcase.

The suitcase was open, and it was almost full. At this moment, Lupin was bending over, organizing something from the cabinet beside the desk. Harry's knock on the door when he entered the office only made him look up for a moment.

"Professor Aisen said--" Harry watched Lupin's actions, "that you've already resigned. He's wrong, isn't he!"

"I'm afraid he's right." Lupin took a stack of manuscripts from the cabinet drawer.

"Why?" Harry showed a sad expression, "Professor Dumbledore said you wouldn't harm the students because you've taken the Werewolf Potion, didn't he?"

Lupin walked to the door and closed the door behind Harry.

"That's right, Professor Dumbledore did say that, and he convinced Fudge that I was safe and harmless at the time." Lupin said with a sigh, "But for Lucius, this is an effective means to strike at Dumbledore's prestige, and he's not willing to let go of this handle."

"But, Professor, are you going to leave us because of this?" Harry was a little disbelieving.

Lupin immediately gave a wry smile, but looking at Harry, he also felt a little comforted.

"Actually, Lucius is right! If I don't leave, owls will be flying in from the parents by this time tomorrow--even if I can maintain my sanity, they won't want a Werewolfteaching their children."

"Professor Lupin, you are the best Professor of Dark Artswho has taught us! Please don't go!" Harry pleaded persistently.

But Lupin shook his head and said nothing more. He continued to pack the last few books from the drawer into his suitcase.

Harry opened his mouth, about to say something else, when a knock came from the door. Turning his head to look, Harry saw it was Professor Dumbledore, and he didn't seem surprised to see Harry there.

"Lupin, your car is waiting at the main entrance!"

"Thank you, Headmaster!" Lupin picked up the empty tank and his suitcase.

When he reached the door, Lupin turned to look at Harry: "Alright--goodbye, Harry. It was a pleasure teaching you, and I think we'll meet again in the future."

Then, Lupin put down the empty tank, nodded slightly to Dumbledore, and extended his hand: "Headmaster, you don't need to see me to the main entrance, I can manage myself..."

Harry felt a little sad; he felt as though Lupin wanted to leave as quickly as possible.

"Well then, goodbye, Lupin!" Dumbledore reached out and shook hands with Lupin.

Then, Lupin picked up the empty tank and the suitcase, smiled at Harry, and turned to leave.

Chapter 200: Dumbledore's Actions (Part 1)

Harry sat on an empty chair on one side of the office, silently looking at the floor with a somewhat gloomy expression.

After the sound of the door closing, Harry looked up and saw that it was Professor Dumbledore who had closed the large door.

"Why so unhappy, Harry?" Professor Dumbledore's tone was unusually calm, seemingly not at all regretful about Professor Lupin's departure.

"I just feel that Professor Lupin was the best Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts we've ever had—" Harrysaid in a muffled voice.

"It is indeed regrettable, but life goes on, doesn't it?" Professor Dumbledore said.

"Then, Professor, is there anything else?" Harry nodded, then asked.

"Yes, I heard you stayed with Sirius during the Christmasholiday?" Professor Dumbledore looked at Harry, showing a strange expression.

"That's right, staying with Sirius is much better than staying at the Dursleys!" Talking about this topic, Harry's mood immediately brightened.

"Are you planning to live at Sirius's place permanently?" Professor Dumbledore narrowed his eyes.

"Of course—, there's nothing wrong with that, right?" Harry said excitedly, not noticing the strange look on Professor Dumbledore's face.

"No, I think you must go home for the holidays—" Professor Dumbledore poured a bucket of cold water over Harry's head.

"Ah—, why?" Harry was stunned.

He knew perfectly well how the Dursleys treated him. Since he had a chance to get away from them, why would he have to go back?

Looking at Professor Dumbledore's silent appearance, Harry's eyes were filled with confusion for a moment.

"Harry, I think I must tell you!" After a moment, Professor Dumbledore spoke slowly.

"What?" Harry was even more confused.

"Voldemort killed your parents. After tasting defeat on you, I left you on your aunt and uncle's doorstep. At that time, I knew you would suffer. I knew you were destined to experience a difficult ten years..." Professor Dumbledore turned his head to the other side, seemingly seeing the scene of Harry's past suffering.

"Why?" Harry was startled, remembering his experiences at the Dursleys, and couldn't help but ask.

"Yes, I knew you would ask this—and you have reason to ask—why are things like this? Why didn't I leave you with a Witch family? Many families would not only be willing to do so, but would raise you as their own son, and they would feel honored and happy, just like the Weasleyfamily." Professor Dumbledore took off his half-moon glasses, cleaned them with a spell, and put them back on.

Yes, why was it like this? Harry didn't speak, but he was thinking this in his heart. Thinking that he could have grown up with the Weasleys, Harry became even more curious.

"My answer is that my first consideration was to ensure your survival. Because your situation would be more dangerous than others. At that time, everyone knew you had stopped Voldemort, and he was defeated. But his supporters were still at large."

Professor Dumbledore paused, then continued, "Those Death Eaters are angry and brutal desperadoes, and many of them are as terrifying as Voldemort."

"But what does that have to do with anything?" Harrycouldn't help but ask.

"I publicly announced that Voldemort had been completely killed, but would I really believe that Voldemort was gone forever? No, I wouldn't believe it. Although I don't know when he will return, ten, twenty, or fifty years, I know he will definitely return."

"He's coming back to kill me!" Harry remembered the incident in his first year when Voldemort possessed Professor Quirrell.

"That's right, from what I know of him, I'm sure he won't sit idly by before killing you!" Professor Dumbledorenodded, "I know Voldemort's knowledge of magic may be more extensive than any living Witch today.

I also know that once he regains his full magic, even if I use the most complex and powerful spells, I may not be his match."

"Does this have something to do with me living at the Dursleys?" Harry's eyes showed a thoughtful expression.

"You are very smart, Harry!" Professor Dumbledoreshowed a little emotion and nodded at Harry, "Your mother gave up her life to save you. She left you an unexpectedly lasting protection, a protection that still flows in your blood today.

Voldemort paid the price because of this protection from your mother. Therefore, I trusted your mother's lineage, and I entrusted you to her sister, her only surviving relative."

"But she doesn't like me." Harry couldn't help but interrupt, "She didn't give me the—"

"Oh—, but she took you in." Professor Dumbledoreinterrupted him, "She may indeed have been unwilling, unhappy, reluctant, and complaining when she took you in. But she did accept you.

This allowed the spell I could cast on you, allowing the protection your mother's sacrifice left in your blood, to become your greatest protective barrier through the bond of kinship."

"Bond of kinship?" Harry repeated the phrase.

"Yes, as long as you can call the place where your mother's blood exists home, you will not be disturbed or harmed by Voldemort there.

Voldemort caused her blood to flow, but that blood still exists in you and her sister. Her blood has become your sanctuary. As long as you still call it home, you need to go back once a year. As long as you are there, Voldemort cannot harm you.

Your aunt knows this. I left the letter at her doorstep and explained everything I did for you in the letter. She knows that keeping you at home completely ensures your safety for the past thirteen years..."

"So, I have to go back to the Dursleys every year?" Harry, who had been stunned for a moment, immediately felt a little down.

"I'm afraid so, Harry!" Professor Dumbledore nodded.

"That's really too bad." Getting the affirmative answer made Harry feel frustrated.

"There's nothing to be unhappy about. Think about it, you can still live with Sirius on Halloween, Christmas, and other times." Professor Dumbledore comforted Harry.

"Headmaster, you're right—" Harry let out a long sigh, then as if remembering something, he looked at him with burning eyes, "You said in the newspaper a while ago that Voldemort had been killed. Can that really prevent Voldemort from resurrecting?"

"No, I don't think it can prevent him from resurrecting." Professor Dumbledore shook his head and said.

"Is that to buy time?" Remembering what Professor Aisenhad said, Harry suddenly understood.

"That's right—" Looking at the scar on Harry's forehead, Professor Dumbledore nodded and said nothing more.

...

A few minutes later, Harry had regained his composure. He looked at Professor Dumbledore, then spoke.

"Professor Dumbledore, is there anything else?"

Harry spoke like this, seemingly intending to take his leave.

"Hmm—, there are indeed a few things I need to ask you." Professor Dumbledore appeared calm on the surface, but his heart was extremely complex at this moment.

"What is it?" Harry looked at Professor Dumbledore, feeling a little uneasy.

"Recently, does the scar on your head still hurt?" Professor Dumbledore took out his wand and tapped the scar on Harry's forehead.

"It used to, but not recently. Is there a problem?" Harrystroked the scar on his forehead and looked at Professor Dumbledore in confusion.

"Yes, I'm going to cast a spell on you. You can sit on the chair next to you." Professor Dumbledore said slowly, motioning for Harry to sit down.

Seeing Professor Dumbledore's solemn appearance, although Harry felt strange, he didn't say anything and sat down directly.

Then, Professor Dumbledore fumbled for something in his Pregnant, and after a moment, took out a crystal-clear black gem and handed it to Harry.

"Headmaster, what is this?" Looking at the octagonal black gem in his hand, Harry couldn't help but ask.

"Something to ensure your safety—" Professor Dumbledore took out a bracelet and put it on Harry's wrist.

"This—" Harry held the black gem in one hand and the crystal-clear bracelet in the other, feeling a little uneasy.

After taking a deep breath, Professor Dumbledorepointed his wand at Harry.

"Astral Projection—"

Harry only heard Professor Dumbledore's incantation, then saw a beam of light shoot out from the other party's wand and hit him, and then he lost consciousness.

Chapter 201: Dumbledore's Actions (Part 2)

A beam of light shot out from the tip of Professor Dumbledore's wand, hitting Harry directly, followed by a transparent shadow emerging from him.

The light from the tip of Professor Dumbledore's wand continued to appear, constantly drilling into Harry's body. The transparent shadow seemed to be under pressure, slowly being squeezed out of Harry's body.

Professor Dumbledore watched everything before him with intense focus, his eyes behind his half-moon spectacles revealing a very serious expression. He knew what he was currently doing, so he controlled his Charmvery well.

The transparent shadow on Harry's body detached little by little, as if fearing it would cause him other harm, the speed of detachment was extremely slow.

At the same time, Harry's body, slumped in the chair, held a black gem in his hand that emitted a faint, eerie glow. And on the wrist of his other hand, the crystal bracelet emitted a brilliant yet soft blue light.

The eerie glow and the blue light surged on Harry's body, flowing over him like water, finally converging at the scar on his forehead, transforming into runes.

The runes ascended, drilling into the transparent figure that was subtly detaching above his body, flowing from its forehead, then returning to enter Harry's body.

Just then, the transparent figure gradually detaching above Harry's body had threads of black and red light intertwined at its forehead, carried by the interwoven runes, flowing from Harry's body, quickly reaching his arm, and finally drilling into the bracelet.

...

Half an hour later, the transparent figure on Harry finally completely detached from his body and existed independently. The transparent figure seemed about to dissipate, but it was enveloped by the glow emitted by the black gem, keeping its form intact.

The eerie glow emitted by the gem and the blue light from the bracelet, and the ascending runes, constantly interacted and circulated between Harry's body and the transparent figure behind him.

More precisely, they were interacting at the scar on Harry's forehead and the forehead of the transparent figure.

Every moment, threads of black and red light were drawn from the forehead of the transparent figure, drilling into Harry's body, then wrapped by the runes and drilling into the bracelet.

Inside the crystal bracelet, the blue glow that originally filled it also became fainter, and the black and red light inside grew stronger.

Professor Dumbledore, standing by, still had light shooting from the tip of his wand, continuously pouring into Harry's body. A few beads of sweat subtly dripped from his forehead, but he dared not relax in the slightest.

When the bracelet on Harry's wrist had completely turned black and red, with only the faintly embedded runes and magical script emitting a faint blue glow, the black and red light finally disappeared from the forehead of the transparent figure behind Harry.

Seeing this change occur, a smile appeared on Professor Dumbledore's tired face. Subsequently, the intensity of the light from Professor Dumbledore's wand immediately decreased, but it did not disappear completely.

Regarding the mastery of magic, Professor Dumbledorewas absolutely at a master level.

Therefore, under his control, the transparent figure behind Harry, who was slumped in the chair, seemed to feel an attraction and gradually began to approach Harry.

Perhaps fearing that moving too fast would harm Harry, under Professor Dumbledore's control, the transparent figure approached Harry extremely slowly.

Time passed bit by bit, but for Professor Dumbledore, the most important moment had passed, so the pressure he was under at this moment was much less.

Another half an hour later, the transparent figure drilled into Harry's body, completely merging with Harry.

Afterward, Professor Dumbledore withdrew his wand and looked at Harry, who was still slumped in the chair.

The black gem Harry held in his hand no longer emitted light, becoming ordinary and unremarkable. And on the wrist of his other hand, the bracelet that was originally crystal clear and emitted blue light had completely turned into a bracelet emitting black and red light.

Moreover, compared to before, this bracelet now gave off a feeling of evil and oppression. Clearly, the nature of this bracelet had been completely changed.

Professor Dumbledore did not hesitate at all, and stepped forward to take the bracelet off Harry's wrist.

Feeling that the bracelet had taken on the nature of a Horcrux, Professor Dumbledore waved his wand, casting a Fiendfyre Curse to completely destroy the bracelet.

Afterward, Professor Dumbledore took the black gem from Harry's hand and performed a series of checks on Harry.

After finding that Harry was not seriously harmed, Professor Dumbledore finally breathed a complete sigh of relief. Coming back to himself, Professor Dumbledorethen realized he was unknowingly soaked in sweat.

But at this moment, Professor Dumbledore felt no fatigue at all, only infinite relaxation. After smilingly freshening himself up, Professor Dumbledore directly sat down on the empty chair behind the desk to rest.

For Professor Dumbledore, ever since Voldemort's downfall, he had been carrying this heavy pressure. Especially after knowing that Voldemort had created horcruxes and had not truly died, that pressure was even greater.

As his exploration into Voldemort's past deepened, and he learned that he had created more than one Horcrux, that pressure felt even more like a mountain pressing down on him.

Because he was not only the Headmaster of Hogwarts, but also the recognized greatest Witch of the contemporary era. However, Voldemort, who had not completely died, had always been a major concern for him.

Fortunately, the Astronomy Professor Eisen Turnerrecruited by the school had a strong connection with Voldemort's horcruxes, finding several at once. This was extremely happy news for Professor Dumbledore.

However, when he learned from Aisen's speculation that Harry had inadvertently been made into a living Horcruxby Voldemort, he experienced a sense of depression that kept him awake all night.

This was unacceptable for Professor Dumbledore.

Because James and Lily were killed by Voldemort, and Lily sacrificed her life to successfully protect her son, only for him to end up as Voldemort's Horcrux.

This meant that to completely kill Voldemort, Harrywould also have to be killed.

When he learned all this, he didn't even feel happy about destroying more horcruxes, only sadness and helplessness. But even so, he had to make some arrangements, planning to train Harry to face death after he grew up.

Fortunately, Aisen, this Muggle-born Witch, had a different way of thinking than other Witches, proposing a magical idea of Astral Projection from Muggle fantasy comics.

During this time, besides handling other school matters, he conducted research whenever he had time. Finally, he successfully researched the method of Astral Projection.

This action today proved that he had successfully created a new Charm. Moreover, with the use of the Resurrection Stone and a magical item, he had indeed successfully stripped Voldemort's soul fragment from Harry's body.

Voldemort's soul fragment was infused into the healing bracelet Aisen had given him, changing its nature and turning it into an item similar to a Horcrux.

After the bracelet was destroyed by him, he checked Harry's body again and found that there were no problems.

Recalling the achievements of this period, the smile on Professor Dumbledore's face could no longer be suppressed and quickly spread. Although hufflepuff's golden cup had still not been found, he felt an unprecedented sense of relaxation.

...

Drowsily, Harry seemed to feel something, his parents' cries for help, their pleas, and Voldemort's strange laughter... Those sounds were moving away from him, and a relaxation he had never felt before surfaced in his heart.

As if immersed in a dream, Harry suddenly opened his eyes and woke up.

Then he saw Headmaster Dumbledore watching him without blinking, and what surprised him was that Headmaster Dumbledore was smiling so happily.

Did something happen?

"Professor Dumbledore, did I fall asleep?" Harry propped himself up from the chair, scratching his head.

"Hmm—, you slept for a while, perhaps you didn't sleep well last night," Professor Dumbledore said with a smile.

"Oh no!" Harry suddenly jumped up from the chair, "I'm late for class!"

"Don't worry, I've spoken to Professor McGonagall—" Professor Dumbledore smiled and walked to the door to open the office door.

"Goodbye, Professor—" Harry waved to Professor Dumbledore, then left in a hurry.
