Chapter 29 - Ch: 269-275

Chapter 269: Shock! He's a Champion?

Half an hour later, most of the students had finished their meal and were looking at Dumbledore with expectant eyes, as if waiting for him to make a pronouncement.

Under a gaze of eager anticipation, Dumbledore stood up and walked to the stool where the fire goblet was displayed. All the Little Wizards instantly fell silent. They stared at Dumbledore without blinking, even holding their breath.

"Alright, the champions are about to be chosen," Dumbledore said, taking out his wand and giving it a strong wave. Then, except for some pumpkin lanterns in the corners, all the other candles in the Great Hall were extinguished.

Instantly, the entire Great Hall plunged into dimness. But none of the Little Wizards made a sound; they stared intently at the fire goblet in front of Dumbledore.

The blue and white flames in the fire goblet constantly flickered, even appearing somewhat dazzling at this moment.

Seeing this scene, Aisen knew that the champion selection had officially begun.

Immediately after, just as Aisen had expected.

The blue and white flames in the fire goblet suddenly spun and turned red, then burned fiercely, spitting out crackling sparks. Then a tongue of flame shot out, rolling up a piece of burnt parchment.

Everyone stared at the piece of parchment, watching it swirl and fall into Dumbledore's outstretched hand. Dumbledore raised the parchment, brought it closer to the side of the fire goblet, and used the light to clearly read the words on it.

After the flames in the fire goblet turned back to blue and white, Dumbledore shouted in a clear and powerful voice: "The champion for Durmstrang is Viktor Krum!"

"Wow--"

"Not surprising at all!"

The Little Wizards clapped and cheered, and the sound of cheering swept through the entire Great Hall!

"Fantastic, Viktor, I knew you were destined to be the champion!" This was Karkaroff, the Headmaster of Durmstrang, roaring loudly, shaking the entire Great Hallso everyone could hear.

Whoosh--

Another tongue of flame shot out again, rolling up a piece of burnt parchment, which landed in Dumbledore's hand.

"The champion for Beauxbatons," Dumbledore said with a slight smile, "is Fleur Delacour!"

The silver-haired girl with Veela blood walked over with graceful, light steps. This posture attracted the attention of many Little Wizards.

A few seconds later, another tongue of flame shot out from the fire goblet, rolling out a piece of burnt parchment. After Dumbledore caught it, he announced loudly: "The champion for Hogwarts is Cedric Diggory!"

"Wow--, fantastic, Cedric!"

"I told you it would be Cedric, didn't I!"

Deafening cheers echoed throughout the Great Hall, especially from the Hufflepuff Little Wizards, who even jumped and bounced on the tables.

After a long time, the cheering finally subsided, and Dumbledore gestured with a wave of his hand.

"Alright, the champions from the three schools have been chosen!" Dumbledore said. "Now, champions, please enter the room over there; you will receive initial instructions there—"

Following Dumbledore's instructions, the three champions got up one after another, walked along the staff table to the far end of the Great Hall, and entered a room.

"Philius, which of the three champions do you think will win the Triwizard Cup?" Aisen asked subconsciously, holding his cup.

"That's hard to say," Professor Flitwick shook his head. "On the surface, Cedric has a considerable advantage, but in reality, we still need to see the specific performance of the three!"

"That's true!" Aisen nodded thoughtfully.

"Alright, I am now pleased to announce that the task of selecting champions by the fire goblet has been successfully completed. I think everyone will now support their school's champion—"

Dumbledore suddenly stopped, as if something had caught his attention. The Little Wizards also focused their gaze.

In the fire goblet, the flames that should have been extinguished suddenly changed and surged upwards, rolling up another tongue of flame, sending a piece of parchment into Dumbledore's hand.

Seeing this scene, Aisen gulped down a mouthful of orange juice, his eyes wide.

Dumbledore cleared his throat and shouted loudly: "Eisen Turner!"

Pfft—cough, cough—

Aisen directly spat out the orange juice in his mouth, then seemed to choke, coughing loudly.

"An Ke Xiao—" Professor Flitwick next to him cast a spell, and Aisen immediately couldn't pretend anymore, but he still showed an expression of disbelief.

Aisen looked up and saw that Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall, Ludo Bagman, Percy Weasley, Karkaroff, and others were all looking at him.

The Little Wizards below were also looking at him with bewildered expressions.

Subsequently, the entire Great Hall seemed to boil over, everyone discussing this extraordinary event.

"It's amazing, this strategy is amazing!" Fred shouted loudly to those around him, wearing an expression as if he had seen through everything.

"That's right, the registration requirement for the Triwizard Tournament is that you must be over seventeen, but it doesn't say Professors can't participate, does it!" George's face showed shock, then he looked in Aisen's direction with an expression of admiration.

"Wow--, so, Hogwarts is sure to win this time?" Lee Jordan spread his hands, an exaggerated smile on his face.

"Is that what Professor Aisen is thinking?" Harry and Roncouldn't help but look at each other when they heard the twin brothers' words.

"But why would he do that?" Hermione said, frowning, then pointed at Professor Aisen. "Look at the Professor's expression, he doesn't seem to know about this either."

"Are you saying someone secretly put Professor Aisen's name in?" Harry made a guess when he saw Aisen's expression of disbelief.

"If that's the case, then maybe Dumbledore did it!" Ron's face showed a look of sudden realization. "Everyone knows that guy Cedric can't win, right? So Dumbledore, to make sure Hogwarts gets the Triwizard Cup, secretly put Professor Aisen's name in. That way, Hogwarts is sure to win!"

"That's just your guess, besides, why would Dumbledoredo that?" Hermione shook her head, her face showing anxiety.

Hearing the content of Fred, Harry, and the others' conversation, Aisen felt an urge to vomit blood. He never expected that a casual joke he made with Dumbledoreback then would actually come true now.

It's just, sigh—

But after the initial shock, Aisen's emotions gradually calmed down. Looking at the Little Wizards and Professors with their varied expressions, Aisen didn't know how to defend himself for a moment.

Who would secretly put his name into the fire goblet for him? Could it really be as Ron said, that Dumbledoresecretly signed him up to ensure Hogwarts won the Triwizard Cup?

But this is basically also unlikely. Because Aisen had some understanding of Dumbledore's character. For just one Triwizard Tournament, Dumbledore had no reason or justification to do such a thing.

But if this wasn't done by Dumbledore, could it have been done by someone else? Or did Aisen himself secretly do this last night and then erased that memory from himself?

For a moment, Aisen felt his mind in turmoil, unable to sort out the threads.

Unlike Aisen's temporary silence, among the Little Wizards, the explanation from Fred and George quickly spread, and then most of the Little Wizards accepted this explanation.

Therefore, many Little Wizards actually started cheering.

However, the representatives from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang glared angrily at the Little Wizards, and even swore. Some people even pointed and gesticulated at Aisen.

Seeing this scene, Aisen almost couldn't help but roll his eyes.

Please, please! It's common knowledge that a fourth champion can appear in the Triwizard Tournament, is there really a need for such a big reaction?

Although I am the Astronomy Professor at Hogwarts, I am at least seventeen years old. You know, the last time Harry participated in the Triwizard Tournament, he broke tradition by being fourteen years old.

What? Harry didn't participate!

Oh—, well, there's nothing for it. Aisen said that even if he participates in the Triwizard Tournament, it would at most just be breaking tradition once! However, could he just withdraw directly?

Thinking this way, Aisen carefully sensed it and indeed found a faint, almost imperceptible connection linking him to the fire goblet.

This meant that he had to participate in this event according to the contract! However, after sensing his own Magic, Aisen felt that he should be able to sever this connection. But if he really did that, the fire goblet would probably be directly damaged by him.

However, a contract? Thinking of this word, a thoughtful look appeared in Aisen's eyes.

Chapter 270: Debate and Solution

"Alright, Eisen Turner, go in. I think we'll need to discuss some things about this next!" After a moment of silence, Professor Dumbledore whispered something to Professor McGonagall, then waved his hand towards Aisen.

Well, it seems like pretending to be dumb while sitting there wasn't going to fool anyone.

Resigned, Aisen stood up from the staff table, not looking at anyone else's expressions, and walked straight to the door behind the staff table. Pushing the door open, he entered a small room with portraits of Witches on both walls and a fire burning in the fireplace.

Glancing at the portraits on the walls that were all looking at him, Aisen made no movement. He looked at the three Champions warming themselves by the fireplace and let out an almost imperceptible sigh.

"What's wrong?" Delacour tossed her long silver hair and turned to ask, "Do you want us to go back to the Great Hall?"

Before Aisen could say anything, the sound of shuffling footsteps approached, and Ludo Bagman, Dumbledore, Percy Weasley, Karkaroff, and others filed in one after another.

"It's too bizarre!" Bagman patted Aisen's shoulder, then turned to the three Champions and said, "This is too bizarre, three Champions, allow me to introduce the fourth Champion of the Triwizard Tournament!"

Cedric and Krum didn't say anything, but from their expressions, it was clear they were somewhat at a loss. Delacour, on the other hand, had a smiling face: "Oh, Mr. Bagman, that's a funny joke!"

"A joke! Dumbledore, I want to know what this means!" Karkaroff couldn't help but say sarcastically.

"I want to know that too, Dumbledore!" Madam Maximehad an arrogant look on her face. She straightened her body, her head almost touching the chandelier hanging from the ceiling.

"Uh, yes—yes, his name—his name just spurted out of the fire goblet!" Bagman wiped the sweat from his forehead and stammered to the stunned Delacour.

"Can the organizers select two Champions when participating in the Triwizard Tournament? I don't recall such a rule!" Karkaroff sneered.

"Dumbledore, I think this is not allowed, because it is extremely unfair!" Madam Maxime's breathing became rapid.

"Yes, Dumbledore, you are truly cunning!" Karkaroffglanced at Aisen, then said mockingly, "We all know that the line can exclude competitors who are not old enough, so you let a Hogwarts Professor sign up to participate, right!"

Dumbledore was silent and didn't say anything. Through his half-moon spectacles, it was impossible to see what he was thinking.

"Mr. Weasley, and Mr. Bagman—" Karkaroff turned to look at the other two, a comical expression on his face, "You two are also members of the judging panel—well, objective judges, you must also think this is extremely inappropriate, right?"

Percy Weasley looked around, seemingly feeling the pressure, but pretending to be calm, he said, "We must abide by the rules, which explicitly state that anyone whose name is spat out by the fire goblet must participate in the Triwizard Tournament."

"Ha, well said, it seems Weasley knows the rules by heart!" Bagman smiled at Karkaroff and Madam Maxime, looking as if the problem had been solved.

However, Bagman's shameless declaration instantly angered Karkaroff: "I insist on my other students re-registering!"

Then a group of people started arguing about this.

Not only Karkaroff, but Madam Maxime as well, they unanimously agreed that the students of Beauxbatonsand Durmstrang should line up to put their names into the fire goblet until both schools had selected a second Champion.

Originally, for everyone, this was also a way to solve the problem. A three-Champion individual competition turning into a six-Champion team competition could be considered fair (laugh).

But unfortunately, the fire goblet was extinguished after they came in. To rekindle it, they would have to wait until the next Triwizard Tournament.

So, a group of people started arguing.

The focus of the argument was whether Aisen should participate in the Triwizard Tournament at all. Although Percy Weasley had previously stated that everything should proceed according to the rules.

But the problem was that Aisen's identity was too special.

First, Aisen is a Hogwarts Professor. Competing with a group of students as a Professor is a bit too unfair. Although Karkaroff and Madam Maxime didn't know how strong Aisen was, they seized on this point.

Second, there was an even more unfair aspect. For the first event of the Triwizard Tournament, the other three Champions did not know the specific content. And Aisen, due to his identity as a Professor, had already been informed of the content of the first event.

Therefore, considering everything, if Aisen participated in the Triwizard Tournament according to the normal process, winning would be almost inevitable.

In fact, hearing the focus of Dumbledore and the others' argument, Aisen was quite in agreement.

Others might not know his strength, but he had a clear grasp of his own strength. For example, the first event of the Triwizard Tournament was to challenge a dragon and successfully obtain a golden egg from it.

For Aisen, this was simply child's play. Whether it was Transfiguration or other Charms, Aisen could absolutely easily take down a dragon.

As for the second event, rescuing a hostage at the bottom of the Black Lake, it was also a piece of cake for Aisen. The third event was finding the fire goblet in the hedge maze.

The maze might not be simple for other Champions, but for Aisen, he could directly find the path by opening God's Perspective. Or he could simply Apparition Without A Trace and instantly move to the fire goblet.

Looking at it this way, Aisen participating in the Triwizard Tournament was indeed a bit of a bully.

Think about it, while others were racking their brains and trying hard to compete, Aisen completed the task instantly—this was simply ridiculous.

If he really participated in the competition like this, this year's competition would definitely become a joke in the Wizarding World.

"It's truly ironic!" Karkaroff said angrily, "We've had so many meetings, gone through so much negotiation and discussion, and I never expected something like this to happen!"

"So, Professor Aisen, do you have any thoughts on this?" Dumbledore changed the subject and looked at Aisen, asking. From his calm expression, it seemed he thought Aisen had a way to solve this problem.

Taking a deep breath, Aisen looked at the people who had stopped arguing and were watching him, and slowly nodded.

"Yes, I do have an idea, perhaps it can perfectly solve this unexpected incident!"

"You call this an unexpected incident?" Karkaroff shouted angrily.

"Alright, Karkaroff, calm down and let's hear ProfessorAisen's idea!" Bagman patted Karkaroff's shoulder.

"Professor Dumbledore, you told me last time that you arranged for me to be the safety officer for the Triwizard Tournament, as a bottom line to ensure the safety of the Champions, right!" Aisen shrugged and then winked at Dumbledore.

"Oh, that's right, but if you become a Champion, you can't be a safety officer!" Dumbledore spread his hands, showing a helpless expression.

"Of course I can!" Aisen said with a serious expression.

"What?" Dumbledore looked puzzled.

"What I mean is, why can't I, as a Champion, participate as a safety officer?" Aisen looked at everyone and proposed an outlandish plan.

"Safety officer?" Bagman's face showed surprise, and then he continued, "Alright, can you elaborate?"

Everyone looked at Aisen in surprise. Dumbledore, Professor Snape, and others had thoughtful looks in their eyes.

"That's right, although I have become the fourth Champion, I don't need to actually compete. Instead, I will participate as a safety officer. Well, how should I put it, my task is to be responsible for providing safety assurance for the three Champions, how about that?" Aisen folded his arms and said slowly.

Chapter 271: I'm Also Very Helpless to Become a Champion! (Please subscribe, please subscribe fully!)

Hearing Professor Aisen's explanation, everyone was surprised by his unconventional thinking, but upon closer consideration, this solution was indeed impeccable.

On one hand, if Professor Aisen truly participated as a safety officer, then the three champions participating in the Triwizard Tournament would not be in direct competition with him. This would restore the competition to a relatively fair state.

On the other hand, if the solution was implemented this way, then Professor Aisen would not have the issue of not following the rules.

For a moment, everyone fell into contemplation.

But then, including Karkaroff and Madam Maxime, they realized that this solution was indeed the most suitable.

"But, Professor Aisen—" Percy Weasley suddenly spoke up, "According to the rules, you must also participate in the competition, right?"

Hearing Percy's words, everyone turned their attention back to Professor Aisen, wanting to hear his response.

Because this was indeed a problem.

"That's right, I must participate in the competition, but my role is a safety officer, and ensuring the safety of the champions is the most important thing," Professor Aisenspread his hands with a smile. "Therefore, in the three tasks of the Triwizard Tournament, I will inevitably get the lowest score, won't I?"

Hearing Professor Aisen's explanation, everyone showed a look of sudden understanding.

That's right, to circumvent the requirement of having to participate in the Triwizard Tournament competition, Professor Aisen figured that as long as he deliberately remained inactive in the competition tasks to ensure he got the lowest score, it would basically be fine.

Moreover, Professor Aisen wasn't intentionally getting such a low score; it was mainly because he was still a safety officer and had to constantly pay attention to the champions' safety. Therefore, not getting a high score was naturally to be expected.

"Ah—well, you see, the matter has been perfectly resolved!" Bagman rubbed his hands together, then looked at everyone in the room with a smile. "Karkaroff, Madam Maxime, do you see any problems with this arrangement?"

After a moment of After a while, they seemed to realize that there was indeed no better solution, and they had to admit that the plan proposed by Professor Aisen was fair enough. So, they nodded and said nothing more.

With the problem resolved, Headmaster Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall, and others all smiled. Professor McGonagall, in particular, looked at Professor Aisen with a hint of something unusual in her eyes.

Tsk tsk—they were probably all admiring ProfessorAisen's cleverness.

"Alright, we need to continue now!" Bagman said with a smile, then looked at Percy beside him. "So, it's time to instruct our champions, isn't it? Weasley, it's your turn!"

"Oh, yes, no problem, Mr. Bagman!" Percy walked straight towards Cedric, nodding at the three champions. "For the instruction, the first task is to test your daring."

"We are not going to tell you what it is, because courage in the face of the unknown is a very important quality for a Witch! Then, the first task will take place on November 24th, and you will need to complete it in front of the judges and your fellow students."

"Also, the most important point is that you must not ask for help or accept any assistance from teachers before you complete the task. Therefore, you need to hold tight to your wands. You will only learn about the subsequent tasks after the first one is finished. Due to the demanding nature and long duration of the competition, the champions will not be required to take their end-of-year exams."

"So, that's it, what do you think, Headmaster Dumbledore!"

After Percy finished speaking, he glanced at ProfessorAisen beside him, then turned to Headmaster Dumbledore.

"Ah, yes, that's right, well, Mr. Weasley, are you planning to stay tonight?" Headmaster Dumbledore nodded, then smiled at him.

"No, Headmaster Dumbledore, there are still some matters to attend to at the Ministry..." Facing Headmaster Dumbledore's invitation, Percy felt a bit awkward but still shook his head and refused.

"Professor Karkaroff—Madam Maxime—would you care for a drink before bed?" Headmaster Dumbledore didn't mind and then extended an invitation to the two headmasters.

But perhaps because of the mishap with the Triwizard Tournament, even though a proper solution had been found, they still did not give Headmaster Dumbledore a good face.

Karkaroff motioned to Krum and left, and Madam Maximealso took Delacour and walked out of the room without saying a word.

"Alright, Cedric, I think you should head back," Headmaster Dumbledore wasn't angry that his suggestion wasn't taken, and instead turned to Cedric. "I imagine the Hufflepuff students are waiting to celebrate with you; it would be a shame to take away their excuse for a good loud celebration."

Cedric still looked a bit bewildered at this moment.

Earlier, when he learned that Professor Aisen was participating in the Triwizard Tournament, he found it hard to believe. Then, during the Professors' debate and discussion, a perfect solution was proposed, and he breathed a sigh of relief.

With his emotions fluctuating, Cedric didn't know what to feel for a moment. After hearing Headmaster Dumbledore speak, he nodded and left.

Headmaster Dumbledore gave Professor Aisen a deep look, gave him a meaningful glance, and said nothing more. As he turned to leave, he said to Professor McGonagall and Professor Snape, "Let's go, Minerva, Severus, we need to arrange for the Prefects to maintain order; they should be heading back to bed!"

Shrugging his shoulders, Professor Aisen slowly followed them back to the Great Hall.

The Great Hall was noisy, with Little Wizards chattering. Professor Aisen concentrated and could hear the whispers of the Little Wizards. Many were still discussing him putting his name into the fire goblet.

Of course, the Hufflepuff side was particularly lively, as many Little Wizards were gathered around Cedric, eagerly congratulating him on successfully becoming the Hogwarts champion.

As for the representatives from Durmstrang and Beauxbatons, they were nowhere to be seen. It's likely they couldn't bear to stay and had gone back to rest.

After the Professors came out of the small room, they began instructing the Prefects to lead their respective house students back to bed. A few minutes later, the Great Hall had become empty.

The candles in the pumpkin lanterns had burned down halfway, and the candlelight projected the smiles onto the outside, making them look strange and eerie.

The Professors sat behind the long table, falling silent for a moment, no one speaking.

Professor Aisen stood in front of the now extinguished fire goblet, examining the wooden goblet carefully. If he hadn't seen its true form, who would have thought that a rough goblet, seemingly carved by a clumsy carpenter, was a high-level magical item?

Feeling the connection of the contract, Professor Aisenfell into thought.

"Found any problems, Aisen!" Headmaster Dumbledorebroke the silence. "Or is there something wrong with the fire goblet?"

Hearing Headmaster Dumbledore's words, including Professor Snape, the Professors all looked at ProfessorAisen with strange expressions.

"Clearly, everyone knows there's something wrong with the fire goblet," Professor Aisen ran his hand over the fire goblet, feeling the rough texture, and couldn't help but frown. "I don't know who put my name in, but the fire goblet has obviously been tampered with!"

"Mr. Turner, I can understand your desire to bring glory to Hogwarts this way, but this is a bit too obvious!" Professor Snape said flatly, his lips twitching.

"You think I put my name in myself?" Professor Aisenlooked at the Professors' matter-of-fact expressions, feeling a bit helpless. "But if that were truly the case, why would I propose that solution? If I hadn't said anything, I think I definitely would have participated directly as a champion."

Professor Snape twitched his lip and said nothing more.

In fact, Professor Aisen was right; if he truly wanted to put his name in to compete, he wouldn't have proposed a solution. At that point, by simply following the rules, winning the Triwizard Cup would have been practically within Professor Aisen's grasp.

"So, who did this? And why would they do it?" Professor Flitwick asked.

Professor Aisen shook his head and said nothing, but his eyes flickered with confusion. Because he didn't know who had done this. Nor did he know the motive behind it!

Chapter 272: Investigating the Truth (Seeking subscription, seeking full subscription!)

The Triwizard Tournament is a grand event for the Ministry of Magic and the three European schools.

In terms of popularity, it might be quite different from the Quidditch World Cup. But for the students of the three schools, the attraction might even be stronger.

After all, if they really win the Triwizard Cup, they will not only gain enough glory but also receive a thousand Galleons in prize money.

Therefore, for students who want to sign up for the competition, no amount of attention is too much.

But the problem is, none of this holds any attraction for Aisen.

Take the glory of Hogwarts, for example. This is basically something Aisen doesn't care much about. After all, Aisenis a time traveler, and he doesn't really have that sense of shared glory or shared loss with Hogwarts.

As for the one thousand Galleons in prize money, it holds even less attraction for Aisen.

Therefore, after thinking back and forth, Aisen couldn't quite understand why someone would secretly put his name into the fire goblet.

If Harry's name had been put in, Aisen would have thought it was a matter of course. Because Voldemort wanted to cause trouble and wanted Harry to die.

However, now, Voldemort's minions have basically been wiped out under Aisen's interference. Therefore, Harry's name did not appear in the fire goblet.

So, what Aisen doesn't understand is, what was the purpose of someone putting his name into the fire goblet? Was it really to ensure that Hogwarts achieved the final victory in the Triwizard Tournament?

Obviously, this motive is a bit too absurd; at least Aisenhimself doesn't believe it.

"Alright, just as Aisen said, the matter has been perfectly resolved, hasn't it?" Professor Dumbledore said, standing up. After giving Aisen a meaningful look, he put the fire goblet into a box and turned to leave.

...

Back in his office, Aisen sat behind his desk, quietly thinking about what had happened earlier.

Although this incident did disrupt some of Aisen's plans, it doesn't seem like a big deal. For Cedric and the others, they have to prepare for the Triwizard Tournament for an entire school year.

But in his opinion, it's actually like playing a game, basically with no difficulty. Thinking this, Aisenimmediately breathed a sigh of relief. However—as his thoughts shifted, an idea suddenly popped into his mind.

Then, Aisen's mouth twitched, and he couldn't help but laugh.

If someone else were calculated like this, they probably wouldn't be able to figure out what was going on. But Aisen is different; he possesses the characteristic of Time Travel.

Since he wants to know who calculated against him, wouldn't it be possible to find out everything by simply traveling back in time and quietly watching it happen?

With a smile spreading across his face, Aisen's thoughts moved, and he immediately used Apparition Without A Trace, instantly moving to a disused classroom on the fifth floor.

God's Perspective opened, and the scene of the entire Castle was already reflected in Aisen's mind.

The Little Wizards were cheering in their respective common rooms, but the corridors outside were silent. Aisen didn't think much, his thoughts shifted, and he stirred the dormant time power within his body.

Then, Aisen's eyes blurred, and his entire body instantly disappeared from the spot.

The afternoon of the previous day, Aisen's figure appeared out of thin air in the disused classroom on the fifth floor.

After the scene changed, Aisen instantly cast the Disillusionment Charm, Concealment Charm, and other spells on himself, completely hiding his tracks. Then, Aisen conjured a chair and leaned against the wall on one side of the disused classroom, sat down, and waited quietly.

As dusk fell, Aisen opened God's Perspective, covering Hogwarts Castle.

Focusing his attention on the Great Hall, the Entrance Hall, and outside the Entrance Hall, the figures of the Little Wizards appeared in Aisen's line of sight. One by one, under the command of Professor McGonagall, they walked towards the Entrance Hall.

Before long, students from all grades of the school, led by their respective heads of houses, passed through the door from the Great Hall to the Entrance Hall and came outside to line up.

Concentrating his gaze, Aisen found his own figure, Professor Dumbledore, and others behind the crowd. His sight shifted, and Aisen looked at Professor McGonagall.

"Weasley, straighten your hat!" Professor McGonagallshouted loudly at Ron, then looked at Parvati, pointing at the butterfly hair ornament on her head and roaring, "Miss Patil, take that ridiculous thing out of your hair!"

Professor McGonagall's voice, fed back through the audio-visual connection, directly echoed in Aisen's mind.

"First-years at the front, don't push—" Professor McGonagall continued to direct, "The students behind, keep up, don't be disorderly—"

Watching all this, a smile appeared on Aisen's face. Clearly, Aisen had experienced all of this before. Next would be the process of Hogwarts staff and students welcoming the Beauxbatons and Durmstrangdelegations.

Time passed little by little, and what happened next was exactly as he had expected. Madam Maxime led the Beauxbatons delegation, arriving from the sky in a carriage.

Meanwhile, Durmstrang arrived by ship, rising directly from the bottom of the Black Lake.

After the process of welcoming the staff and student representatives of the two schools, everyone entered the Great Hall. What happened next also didn't change; just as Dumbledore was about to announce something, Fawkes suddenly flashed in front of Dumbledore.

Subsequently, Dumbledore left, and Professor McGonagall took over Dumbledore's task and began to preside over the subsequent work.

Where did Dumbledore go? This thought suddenly popped into Aisen's mind, giving him an urge to investigate.

With a thought, Aisen's sight followed Dumbledore. He saw that after leaving through the door behind the staff table, he went to his office.

Aisen noticed that Dumbledore's expression was not good; he seemed somewhat sad, but more so, it seemed like a kind of relief. A moment later, before Aisen could feel strange, he saw Dumbledore flash and disappear directly from the office.

This was Apparition Without A Trace!

Forget it, it's more important to focus on the current matter!

His sight returned to the Great Hall, where Professor McGonagall had already announced the selection of champions for the Triwizard Tournament.

Aisen didn't pay much attention to what happened next. The representatives from Beauxbatons and Durmstrangleft the Great Hall and returned to their respective residences. The Little Wizards of Hogwarts returned to their common rooms.

The fire goblet was then placed in the center of the Entrance Hall, with an age line drawn around it. Hmm—was all this arranged by Professor McGonagall?

That makes sense!

Time passed slowly, everyone went back to sleep, and the entire Great Hall became completely empty.

In the center of the Entrance Hall, the blue and white flames in the fire goblet were burning, seemingly ready to receive a student's name.

Aisen was in the disused classroom on the fifth floor, but at this moment, he focused his attention on the Entrance Hall. Because Aisen knew that if anyone planned to secretly put a slip of paper with his name written on it into the fire goblet, it would definitely be on this night.

In the blink of an eye, it was already midnight.

Under the night sky, Hogwarts Castle was like a monster, roaring silently. Above the Forbidden Forest, the bright moon had risen above the treetops, and moonlight slanted down, covering the Black Lake with silver light.

Within this scene, there was an indescribable depth and beauty, where nature and magic intertwined.

At a certain moment, Aisen's energy instantly concentrated.

Near the central fire goblet in the Entrance Hall corridor, a figure suddenly appeared, attracting all of Aisen's attention. As his sight fell upon it, Aisen realized it was a young man with wavy, curly blond hair.

This is—

Gilderoy Lockhart?

The moment he clearly saw this figure, a sense of absurdity abruptly emerged from his heart, giving Aisen a feeling of unreality.

Wait—

Aisen used to know quite a bit about what kind of person Lockhart was. But the figure he saw at this moment, although it was indeed Lockhart, his expression was cold and vacant, and his eyes were empty and indifferent, looking exceptionally strange.

It was as if Snape's expression was deeply imprinted on Lockhart's face, which looked extremely bizarre.

Could all this be Lockhart's doing? Aisen looked at Lockhart, and as his thoughts turned, he was about to reach out and directly take him down from a distance.

But before Aisen could make a move, the changes in Lockhart's body made him dumbfounded.

Chapter 273: The Fog in the Truth

He saw Lockhart standing blankly in front of the fire goblet, a layer of silver light suddenly appearing on his body surface.

Then this layer of silver light gathered, like the concept of a holographic projection in the Muggle World, casting aside to form an illusory yet real figure.

Upon closer inspection, the figure looked exactly like Aisen.

Who am I? Where am I? What was I supposed to do?

Aisen suppressed the urge to act, these questions constantly replaying in his mind.

Aisen, in the abandoned classroom on the fifth floor, had his thoughts flying wildly, while the illusory Aisen image in the entrance hall did not stop moving.

He reached out a hand, and a piece of parchment flew from Lockhart's robe into his hand. With a shift in perspective, Aisen clearly saw "Eisen Turner" written on it.

Then, the illusory Aisen figure waved his hand towards Lockhart. Lockhart then took out his wand and cast a blue light that merged into the fire goblet.

The blue and white flames rising from the fire gobletsuddenly flickered a few times, then intensely pulsed. But after a moment, the blue and white flames burning in the fire goblet returned to calm.

Immediately after, the illusory Aisen figure seemed to nod with extreme satisfaction, then threw the parchment in his hand into the fire goblet.

Staring at all this dumbfounded, Aisen felt as if his mind was filled with paste, not knowing what to say. Next, it seemed everything was finished, and the illusory Aisenfigure dispersed again, turning into silver light and entering Lockhart's body.

Then, Lockhart's figure flickered and suddenly disappeared from the entrance hall. Hogwarts, in the night, returned to tranquility.

He came without a sound and left without a trace. If Aisenhadn't witnessed it with his own eyes, he probably wouldn't have discovered that someone had secretly entered Hogwarts, even casting his name into the fire goblet and plotting against him.

Moreover, based on the scene Aisen had just witnessed, although it was Lockhart who caused the incident, in reality, it seemed more like his own method.

Of course, the current Aisen doesn't seem to possess such a method, but his intuition tells him that all of this is closely related to him. As for Lockhart, he seems to be his tool?

But how did he get involved with Lockhart?

And what about that illusory figure? Why was it residing in Lockhart? Wait—Time Travel! He possesses the characteristic of Time Travel, which means—at a certain point in the future, after traveling through Space-Time through an unknown method, he resided in Lockhart and then implemented some kind of plan?

Thinking of this, Aisen's mind was startled. Although he thought he was guessing wildly, he felt it was very possible.

So what is the plan of his future self? Is it really as someone guessed, that he needs to participate in the Triwizard Tournament and then win the Triwizard Cup?

Thoughts were flying in his mind, and the more Aisenthought about it, the more confused he became.

Because given his personality, he knew he would absolutely not participate in any Triwizard Tournament. From all perspectives, Aisen couldn't figure out what benefits participating in a Triwizard Tournament could bring him.

After all, the Triwizard Tournament isn't like a dungeon where Aisen can get items to quickly increase his strength as soon as he clears it. Therefore, if it were truly him, he wouldn't need to do this at all, right!

So, the illusory figure residing in Lockhart, is it not his doing, but some Witch using his appearance to do something inexplicable?

As his thoughts turned, Aisen thought of another possibility!

Following this line of thought, could it be a future enemy who used a method to transform into Aisen's appearance, resided in Lockhart, and put his name into the fire goblet?

The purpose is actually to tie down Aisen, keeping his energy focused on the Triwizard Tournament this year, and then seize the opportunity to do something else elsewhere?

Hiss—

As soon as this possibility came to mind, Aisen couldn't help but take a deep breath, his heart suddenly becoming a little flustered. However, Aisen immediately calmed down.

Thinking about it carefully, he felt this situation wasn't very likely either.

After all, Aisen's strength is increasing every moment, and he possesses a super man-like body of steel, extraordinary self-healing ability, the ability to turn into light, and the ability to resist most evil curses.

Even in the future, resisting the Killing Curse will be no problem.

With such strength far exceeding the ceiling of the Wizarding World, who else could be his opponent? In other words, who has the ability to scheme against him? Could it be Voldemort? Impossible, absolutely impossible!

So, what is the truth of the matter? Aisen was unable to figure it out for a while.

Time passed bit by bit, but Aisen sat quietly in the abandoned classroom on the fifth floor.

After a long time, Aisen let out a long sigh and temporarily put away his thoughts.

Outside the Castle, the moonlight was as usual, cold as ever. Aisen withdrew his gaze, and then with a thought, he activated the power within his body and instantly disappeared from the spot.

On Halloween night, Aisen's figure appeared in the abandoned classroom on the fifth floor, successfully returning to the present.

After returning to his office, Aisen re-examined the things he had thought about earlier. He then realized that there were currently only two possibilities before him: one was Aisen's own plan in the future, and the other was an enemy's plan.

Although both possibilities seemed quite absurd, Aisen's heart leaned more towards the first possibility. Of course, Aisen would not ignore the existence of the second possibility.

But no matter what, Aisen had one certainty: he feared no enemy.

Thinking this, a smile finally appeared on his face: "I am a Transmigrator with a golden finger! Although my golden finger is relatively useless, I am a genius! Is there anything in this world that can stump a genius? No! Is there anything in this world that can stump a Transmigrator? No! Is there anything in this world that can stump a golden finger owner? Even less so!"

Therefore! Transmigrator + Genius + Golden Finger = Fearless!

...

Early the next morning, Aisen came to the Great Hall for breakfast as usual.

Originally, Aisen thought that after he proposed the solution, Cedric, who was present at the time, would reveal the matter, and then the Little Wizards would not say anything more.

But Aisen miscalculated.

What he didn't expect was that a considerable number of Little Wizards focused their discussion on why Aisenwould secretly put his name into the fire goblet.

Aisen himself was speechless about this. Although he Time Traveled back to the past to find some truth, the truth was shrouded in fog, making it unclear to him.

"It's such a pity, why did Professor Aisen propose to participate as a safety officer?"

"But that's the fair way, isn't it?"

...

The Little Wizards were whispering. Some Little Wizardsstill felt it was a pity about Aisen's action, believing that the solution he actively proposed directly ruined Hogwarts' chances of winning.

Of course, there were also those who thought Aisen's approach was correct. Maintaining the fairness of the Triwizard Tournament through this method was a commendable action.

"Professor Aisen, it's a real shame you're not participating in the Triwizard Tournament events!" Ron, from the Gryffindor side, said, shaking his head.

"As a Professor, participating in the Triwizard Tournament with students is a bit too much bullying!" Aisen's expression was very calm.

"That's right, Professor knows the Triwizard Tournamentevents, which is very unfair to others," Harry said, nodding, looking at Aisen with admiration.

"Then why didn't the Professor just give up the competition?" Ron asked, looking confused.

"Weren't you listening carefully?" Hermione said to Ronspeechlessly, "Putting your name into the fire gobletforms a contract, you must follow the process and participate in the competition, you cannot give up!"

"But the Professor doesn't have to follow the contract, right!" Ron spread his hands.

"Dumbledore didn't say that," Hermione pouted.

...

"Professor, Professor Aisen?"

"Professor Aisen—"

Aisen came back to his senses and found Hermione and Harry looking at him strangely.

"Professor Aisen, are you alright!" A trace of worry appeared on Hermione's face.

"I'm fine, just thinking about something. You guys eat, I'm going for a walk!" Aisen smiled, waved at the three of them, and walked outside.

Chapter 274: Contract!

"Harry, what do you think Professor Aisen was thinking just now?" Ron asked with a puzzled look, poking the cornflakes on his plate with a fork and glancing at Aisenas he left.

"I don't know. Everyone is discussing Professor Aisenputting his name into the fire goblet. I think he might be thinking about how to make the competition fairer!" Harrythought for a moment, then shook his head and stated his guess.

"I think the solution Professor Aisen proposed is already the best one!" Hermione said, eating her jam bread heartily with a relaxed expression.

"That's right, I think so too!" Harry echoed.

"Actually, there's no need to worry about this at all. It's fine even if Professor Aisen participates in the Triwizard Tournament as usual." Ron stuffed some cornflakes into his mouth.

"What did you say?" Harry looked at Ron with a surprised expression.

"Isn't that so?" Ron put down his fork on the plate and said seriously, "Look, Professor Dumbledore said that the Triwizard Tournament is jointly organized by the Ministry of Magic and the three schools, and they all agreed that only students aged seventeen and above can participate, right!"

"That's right. They think it's too dangerous for younger students to participate in the Triwizard Tournament! Only students over seventeen can handle the potential dangers!" Harry said, still looking at Ron with confusion.

"But they didn't specify that a Professor couldn't participate!" Ron shrugged!

"The Triwizard Tournament is supposed to be a battleground for students' glory; that's common knowledge." Hermione couldn't help but roll her eyes.

"That's why I said this isn't Professor Aisen's problem, but the Ministry of Magic's and Dumbledore's problem." Ron tapped the table. "Since the school drew a seventeen-year-old age line for the fire goblet, why not draw a nineteen-year-old age line as well?"

Hearing Ron's words, Harry and Hermione looked at him in surprise for a moment. They were surprised to find that Ron's thinking was so clear.

"Right? Some Sixth Grade students might be seventeen, but by nineteen, they would definitely have graduated from Hogwarts." Seeing their surprised reactions, Roncontinued to express his thoughts. "Drawing these two age lines would ensure that the students participating in the Triwizard Tournament are definitely Sixth Grade or Seven Grade students."

"I think Ron makes a lot of sense." Harry glanced at Ronand Hermione, then nodded and said, "If there were such restrictions, it would prevent a Professor from participating in the Triwizard Tournament!"

"Anyway, Professor Aisen is handling it very well now!" Hermione opened her mouth, left only that one sentence, then turned and walked away.

...

On the other side, after walking through the entrance hall, Aisen slowly strolled onto the lawn extending by the Black Lake.

The weather was quite cold that morning, but Aisendidn't feel it at all. On the mirror-like surface of the Black Lake, Durmstrang School's large ship was anchored, and one could clearly see its reflection in the water at a glance.

Feeling all of this, Aisen fell into deep thought.

A brief conversation with the Trio earlier, particularly Hermione's words about the fire goblet, gave Aisen a flash of inspiration, making him think of something else.

It wasn't actually a big deal, just something Aisen had known before but had overlooked - the contract!

To become a champion, one must put their name into the fire goblet and be judged by this magical object. And once someone puts their name into the fire goblet and is chosen, it is considered that a contract has been formed.

Just now, after hearing the conversation between the Trio, Aisen suddenly thought, is it possible that his name was put into the fire goblet not for some other scheme, but simply for this contract!

Previously, Aisen had considered two possibilities. One was that some hidden enemy wanted to use this method to buy time. This possibility was small and would not be discussed for now.

The other possibility was a scheme by his future self. If this were the case, Aisen couldn't understand why he would do such a thing before.

But at this moment, Aisen felt that if it really was a scheme by his future self, perhaps the purpose was precisely for the so-called contract he formed with the fire goblet.

Recalling his previous thoughts, Aisen increasingly felt that this possibility was the greatest.

You know, he had once lamented why something like a pet contract hadn't been developed in this world. At the time, he had thought that when he had time, he must develop a similar contract.

Signing contracts with some magical creatures would also be a very cool thing to do then.

After that, he had considered Charms with similar contractual abilities, such as the Unbreakable Vow and the Fidelius Charm. But later, Aisen temporarily abandoned this idea.

On the one hand, Aisen thought it was more appropriate at the time to focus his energy on improving his strength. On the other hand, the Unbreakable Vow, the Fidelius Charm, and others were quite different from the form of contract Aisen envisioned.

Now, suddenly recalling his past thoughts, Aisen realized that researching contracts was a very suitable time. Because, ultimately, the fire goblet was just a magical artifact, which meant that the contract between Aisenand it was a contract between a person and an object.

Coincidentally, Aisen's research into Alchemy had reached a very good level at this point. Creating new Alchemical items to serve as the carriers for both parties of the contract was simply perfect.

Simply put, if Aisen could create an Alchemical item. Then, with Aisen as the main party, sign a contract with this Alchemical item, and then have other magical creatures sign a contract with this Alchemical item. Wouldn't that achieve the same function as a pet contract?

As for why not directly develop the so-called pet contract, it's because Aisen suddenly realized at this moment that the indirect contract method was too simple, or rather, too convenient.

Because this form of contract is now right in front of Aisen, which is the current contract between the fire goblet and him.

Moreover, who says that the Alchemical item contracted with Aisen can only sign contracts with magical creatures and not with other Witches?

In that instant, he believed he had discovered some incredible truth. If some of his deepest conjectures could truly be realized, then it would truly be incredible!

Thinking this way, the smile on Aisen's face quickly spread.

Closing his eyes slightly, he carefully felt the trace of contractual connection with the fire goblet within his body.

Time passed by little by little, and the smile on Aisen's lips became increasingly evident.

After a while, Aisen opened his eyes and let out a long sigh.

Looking at the large ship anchored on the Black Lake, Aisen suddenly found it particularly pleasing to the eye and even cute! This was because he had felt earlier that the contractual connection between the fire goblet and him was incredibly stubborn, beyond imagination.

This connection forced him to obey the contract.

Of course, Aisen could sever this contract, but the problem was, if Aisen were to sever the connection between this contract and himself, he would inevitably have to destroy the fire goblet along with it.

This meant that if Aisen wanted to refine an Alchemical item to carry a contract, the safest thing would be to refine an object that was indestructible and never wore out.

As for how to refine such an Alchemical item, Aisenwould need to study it carefully. Presumably, with the almost omnipotent power of magic, solving this problem shouldn't be difficult!

Smiling, Aisen turned and walked towards the Castle.

Walking through the corridor in front of the entrance hall and entering the Great Hall through the main door, Aisenfound that the Great Hall had become empty. Clearly, the Little Wizards had already started their classes.

Returning to his office, Aisen took out a piece of parchment, tapped it with his hand, and crossed out some writing.

"Hmm, the Charm or item for super hearing has been successfully completed, cross it out!"

"Nameless Sleep Spell, currently being developed and perfected."

"The method for creating horcruxes without side effects, there is still a key difficulty to be solved!"

"Oh yes, research into Alchemical items and contractual abilities needs to be added!"

Alright, that's all for now! Looking at the parchment in his hand and thinking about what had happened this school year, Aisen couldn't help but sigh.

Originally, Aisen thought that after Peter Pettigrew and Barty Crouch Jr. had no chance to cause trouble, he could continue to just go with the flow in the new school year. As it turned out, he actually got involved in the Triwizard Tournament.

But thankfully, Aisen now has a certain level of security in terms of strength!

Chapter 275: The Fall of a Legend!

Throughout the entire next day, Aisen found that the Little Wizards' discussions about him still hadn't died down.

Fortunately, as a Professor, Aisen was not like a student who would be gawked at by the Little Wizards. Therefore, a considerable number of people focused their attention on Cedric.

Even the sixth-year students who had previously been chasing Krum for autographs also extended their clutches towards Cedric.

However, there are still twenty days until the first event of the Triwizard Tournament. So Cedric did not celebrate ostentatiously, but instead kept a low profile and studied even harder, which many Little Wizards greatly admired.

On Saturday evening, after dinner in the Great Hall, Aisenwent directly to Dumbledore's office.

"Alright, Headmaster, did you ask me to come because of the Triwizard Tournament?" Aisen said after entering the office, glancing at the Sorting Hat on the shelf, pulling up a chair and sitting down directly. "I think the plan I proposed was perfect enough, right!"

"Hmm—that's right, although I don't know who put your name in, this solution is indeed excellent, Karkaroff and Madam Maxime have no objections!" Dumbledore said gently. "However, I asked you to come today not to talk about the Triwizard Tournament!"

"Oh? Then, what is it?" Hearing Dumbledore say this, Aisen became interested.

Alas—

Dumbledore didn't speak, suddenly sighed, and fell silent. Then he took off his half-moon spectacles and wiped them with fleece.

It was a full minute before Dumbledore put his glasses back on. When he looked at Aisen, a hesitant expression had appeared on his face.

Aisen looked at Dumbledore with a surprised expression.

To be honest, although he didn't know what Dumbledorewanted to see him about, seeing the other party's posture still surprised him greatly.

However, Aisen was not in a hurry to ask, and just waited quietly.

Then, Dumbledore's expression changed, and the previous strange look was no longer visible.

"My old friend has left!" Dumbledore said slowly.

"What?" Aisen looked at Dumbledore in surprise, not understanding what he meant.

"Nicolas Flamel and Perenelle!" Dumbledore's expression was normal, but there seemed to be light flickering in his eyes.

"Oh, they—" Aisen paused suddenly as he spoke, thinking of what Dumbledore had said earlier, and the expression on his face became solemn. "Do you mean they have embarked on another adventure?"

"That's right, I only received the news before Halloween." Dumbledore said calmly, seeming not to reveal too much sadness.

"Was it that day, when Fawkes notified you?" Aisenrecalled the time Dumbledore suddenly left when announcing some information about the Triwizard Tournament.

"That's right!" Dumbledore glanced at Aisen, then slowly stood up.

"Alright, I'm sorry to hear that news!" Aisen spread his hands, looking at Dumbledore. "So, is there anything you need me to do?"

"You don't need to feel sorry, we expected this day long ago, didn't we?" Dumbledore smiled. "Do you remember the time I took you to see him?"

"Yes, not long ago!" Aisen nodded slightly. "I also talked to him about a lot of things regarding Alchemy, his profound knowledge is admirable!"

"Hehe! You're right, his attainments in Alchemy are indeed astonishing!" Dumbledore seemed to think of something and couldn't help but laugh.

"I think, regarding this matter, you don't consider it a sad thing, do you?" Aisen said lightly.

"That's right, that's why I called you here today, of course not to talk about this!" After standing up, Dumbledoreslowly walked to the bookshelf on the other side, fumbling for something inside.

"Then—" Aisen stood up, a little confused.

"The last time I visited Nicolas, he had a very good impression of you, so he specifically notified me that he left something for you!" Dumbledore took out a very old-looking book from the bookshelf. "This is the achievement of his life, although I am surprised by the decision he made, I respect his choice!"

Then, Dumbledore slowly placed the book on the table and pushed it in front of Aisen.

"the book of abraham!" Aisen looked at the name written on the cover of the book, and suddenly felt a sense of disbelief. "Nicolas Flamel's life's achievement, could this be—"

"That's right, just as you guessed!" Dumbledore slowly walked back behind the desk and sat down again. "The secret of refining the Philosopher's Stone is in it!"

Looking at the ancient book in front of him, its cover tightly sealed with brass, engraved with magical symbols, Aisen fell silent for a moment. Reaching out to stroke the cover, Aisen could feel the baptism of time on it.

Undeniably, Nicolas Flamel was a legendary figure in the Wizarding World. Especially after seeing the other party in person, Aisen had a deeper understanding of him.

However, what Aisen couldn't understand was why Nicolas Flamel would give up eternal life.

In the original plot, it seemed to be said that the reason he and Dumbledore decided to destroy the Philosopher's Stone through discussion was because Voldemort wanted to find the Philosopher's Stone to regain power.

But the problem is, even if Nicolas Flamel was not Voldemort's match, he had still been hiding for several centuries. Could it be that with his many years of hiding experience, he was still afraid of being found by Voldemort?

Since he didn't want Voldemort to find the Philosopher's Stone, he just needed to hide it more discreetly, there was no need to destroy the Philosopher's Stone directly, right! But after discussing it with Dumbledore, he did exactly that.

After thinking about it, Aisen always felt that unless Nicolas Flamel had truly lived enough, he would definitely not easily give up eternal life. This point seemed to be discernible from some things Dumbledore had said.

However, what Aisen found strange was why Nicolas Flamel suddenly died at this time. Could it be that after the other party destroyed the Philosopher's Stone, the longevity potion he had left was not much?

Or, was this actually within their expectations!

Of course, Aisen didn't really want to delve into the reasons for this. After all, the legend had fallen, and thinking about those things was meaningless.

It was just that what surprised Aisen was that Nicolas Flamel had left the book of abraham to him, an Astronomy Professor at Hogwarts whom he had only met once.

This—it seemed to make no sense from any perspective.

It was as if the world's richest person met a good friend before leaving, then talked with the colleague the good friend brought for a while, and as a result, the world's richest person finally gifted the most important and valuable inheritance to the good friend's colleague.

From this perspective, it seemed somewhat absurd that this could happen.

"I don't understand!" As his thoughts turned, Aisen spoke. "I only met him once, we weren't even friends, but he left such a precious thing to me—"

"This is his choice, I respect his choice!" Dumbledoresmiled as he looked at Aisen, not explaining the reason, adopting a posture of respecting his old friend's choice.

"Alright, then I will accept this gift with a thick face!" The corner of Aisen's mouth slightly curved up, and he picked up the ancient book. "However, aren't you worried that I might refine a new Philosopher's Stone? I mean, you have already destroyed one Philosopher's Stone!"

"I believe you are capable of doing what you think is right. I told Nicolas about you, and I think that is also an important reason why he was willing to leave it to you!" Dumbledore said with a smile.

Hearing Dumbledore's words, Aisen couldn't help but sigh inwardly, if he didn't have his golden finger, he would definitely not be able to resist this temptation, whether facing the Philosopher's Stone or facing this book of abraham.

After all, eternal life is the eternal pursuit of individual life.

But now, Aisen was holding this book in his hand, but his heart was completely calm! How to put it, just like the old saying goes, what you can't get is the most precious.

Since Aisen had already obtained eternal life, his pursuit of the Philosopher's Stone was not very strong. Furthermore, even if Aisen wanted to refine the Philosopher's Stone, he could completely travel through time and return to the past to achieve his goal.

For example, finding Nicolas Flamel more than six hundred years ago and observing his every move in secret. This way, he could completely copy the Philosopher's Stone by imitating him.

Therefore, wanting to refine the Philosopher's Stone is not a difficult thing for the current Aisen.
