Chapter 93 - Chapter 6 Hogwarts Express

At 10:30 AM on September 1st, Karl Olin arrived at King's Cross Station.

He carried a large suitcase and walked in with light steps.

It wasn't that Karl Olin was naturally strong; rather, he had some talent in magic, and combined with the learning ability of his sycamore wand, he could already perform the Levitation Charm with some flair.

At this moment, the heavy suitcase was completely floating in the air; he was merely pulling it along.

Finding the wall between Platforms 9 and 10, Karl Olin bumped into it when no one was paying attention.

Before his eyes, the platform was crowded with travelers, all Young Wizards going to school and their parents.

Beside the platform, a dark red steam train was parked, and the sign on the train read: Hogwarts Express, Eleven O'Clock.

Seeing that the first few carriages were already packed with students, Karl Olin walked straight towards the rear of the train.

After only a few steps, he saw a family with red hair, none other than the famous vortex… bah! The Weasley family.

Karl Olin distinguished them; the easiest to recognize were the twins and Ginny Weasley.

Charlie Weasley had a broad face, tall and strong, while Percy Weasley looked much frailer and wore glasses.

Finally, there was Ron Weasley, thin but tall, with large hands and feet and a long nose. Their whole family had freckles, especially Charlie Weasley, whose face was almost a different color.

"Listen! You two! Less mischief at school. I'll have Percy Weasley keep an eye on you."

Short and plump Molly was scolding the twins, hoping they would be good in the new school year.

After all, this was Charlie Weasley's last year at Hogwarts, and by next year, when Charlie Weasleygraduated and Ron Weasley started school, Percy Weasley would have to face three troublesome younger brothers alone.

She was somewhat worried that the relationship between the children would become strained… well, even more strained.

"Less? So we can still do some?"

"Shut up, George! You know what I mean!"

"Mom, I'm Fred."

"Alright, sorry, Fred."

"Just kidding, I'm actually George."

Karl Olin, passing by: …

He met Charlie Weasley, who was looking after his younger siblings, and they exchanged an awkward but polite smile.

After checking several compartments and finding none empty, a somewhat weary Karl Olin pulled open another door, found only one person inside, and decisively walked in with his luggage.

It was a Little Witch with a cascade of long, dark hair. She was engrossed in a book, the cover of which read "Fantastic Quidditch."

"Hello, I'm a first-year student, Karl Olin."

"Oh! I'm sorry, I was absorbed in my book! Hello, I'm also a first-year student, Cho Chang."

So it's you! Harry Potter's first love!

Karl Olin couldn't help but take a second look; she was indeed a pretty Little Witch, and she looked even cuter in a Wizard's robe.

"Pleased to meet you!"

"Uh… pleased to meet you."

Although she didn't understand why Karl Olin's tone was so solemn, his black hair and black eyes still made Cho Chang feel very close to him.

This guy's smile is really nice!

Muttering to herself, Cho Chang shook her head and continued reading, as Quidditch was her favorite.

Meanwhile, after Karl Olin put away his suitcase, he left the door open and took out "History of Magic" to read.

It wasn't out of a love for studying, but because he wasn't sure if he could stay awake during Professor Binns's lectures once school started.

Time passed by, minute by minute, and as the train was about to depart, a soft voice came from the doorway.

Karl Olin and Cho Chang simultaneously looked up, and a slender figure came into view.

"Excuse me, I saw there was a seat here, may I come in?"

"Of course."

Cho Chang instinctively tossed her book aside and stood up, intending to help the other person with her luggage.

"Thank you, I can manage it myself."

The newcomer first placed a large trunk in the corner, then carried a brown leather case and sat down next to Cho Chang.

"Nice to meet you all, I'm Nina Goldstein, you can call me Nina."

Her elegant and beautiful face held a faint smile, making one think of warm sunshine and gentle breezes.

In her pair of blue eyes, tiny starlight seemed to shimmer, like the reflection of the sky and the sea merging.

And her lightly swaying brown high ponytail added a touch of playfulness to her.

Karl Olin was quite certain that his compartment was now the most beautiful in all of Hogwarts.

"Hello, Nina! I'm Cho Chang!"

"Karl Olin."

The Hogwarts Express had already departed, and for the rest of the time, Nina was accompanying Cho Chang in discussing Quidditch.

Meanwhile, Karl Olin, holding his book, was lost in thought, pondering Nina Goldstein's background.

From the moment the Little Witch entered, he noticed that she had also used the Levitation Charm on her trunk.

With such extraordinary talent and good looks, why did this Little Witch not appear in the original story?

Karl Olin was very curious and wanted to investigate.

...

At noon, the trolley Witch on the train knocked on the compartment door.

Karl Olin, Nina, and Cho Chang picked out many snacks from her trolley and gathered around, eating and chatting.

"When I received the owl letter, I was so excited I almost jumped!"

"The next day, I urged my parents to take me to Diagon Alley to buy school supplies."

"Especially the wand! Since I was little, I've dreamed of owning my own wand!"

As Cho Chang spoke, she took out her wand from her robe and motioned for them to look.

"Hmm… ash wood, 10 ¼ inches. Perhaps Mr. Ollivanderused Unicorn hair for the core."

"Ah?"

Cho Chang stared at Nina, dumbfounded. I hadn't even said anything, how did you know?

"Uh… I know a little about wands. Sometimes I can recognize them."

Realizing she had spoken too quickly, Nina smiled at Cho Chang somewhat sheepishly.

Karl Olin: Good heavens! This should be more than "a little" knowledge!

And are your eyes a ruler? You can even tell the length?

"Nina! You're amazing!"

Cho Chang looked at Nina with some admiration, then turned to Karl Olin, "Karl Olin, do you want to…?"

"Of course!"

Karl Olin unhesitatingly took out his wand. He wanted to see how much this girl knew (crossed out)… how much weight she carried!

Upon seeing Karl Olin's wand, Nina's eyes widened in surprise, and her expression became a bit strange.

"Sycamore, 12 inches, core is unknown."

Cho Chang curiously glanced at the shape of Karl Olin's wand, then eagerly asked, "Is that right? Is that right?"

Karl Olin nodded, "That's right, the core is Cat-Panther hair."

Hearing this, Nina couldn't help but gasp.

"Cat-Panther?" Cho Chang frowned in confusion, then tugged on Nina's sleeve, "What about yours?"

"Hmm… mine is oak, 12 inches, also Cat-Panther hair."

Karl Olin looked at the wand Nina took out and couldn't help but raise an eyebrow.

The wand was elegantly rounded, with ornate feather-scale patterns and a grip made of another material spliced in.

Of course, none of that was important. What was important was the tuft of grey-gold long hair tied to a hole at the back of the wand.

Karl Olin could guarantee with the instincts of a Jungle Cat that this was definitely a Zouwu's mane.

Cho Chang: (゚д゚≡゚д゚)

"You two…"

"Coincidence!" × 2
