Chapter 101 - Chapter 14 Ravenclaw's Eagle-Headed Bronze Door Knocker

Defense Against the Dark Arts Class ended, and Karl, mixed in with the crowd, left the classroom.

This class was unremarkable; Professor Heller led everyone to recognize Imps, Goblins, Grindylow, and Ghouls.

And he reminded everyone to be prepared for close contact with them in the next class.

To be fair, Professor Heller's teaching level seemed pretty good, but it wasn't something to be happy about.

Because when he appeared, Fire Treasure had already warned Karl in his heart.

This Professor had an uncomfortable aura about him, mixed with death, darkness, and evil... To this, Karl could only say, as expected of you, Headmaster Dumbledore!

Where did he find a Dark Wizard to bring back?

However, after thinking about it carefully, Karl felt that his perspective was too narrow.

Headmaster Dumbledore was right; using a Dark Wizardto teach Defense Against the Dark Arts Class was a case of specialized expertise.

Moreover, using the Dark Lord's curse to eliminate a Dark Wizard indeed had a sense of destiny that couldn't be more fitting... Upon arriving at the Great Hall, Karl walked directly to the Ravenclaw long table and sat next to Nina.

This caused the Little wizards to glare at him, perhaps because of the evil dragon Smaug.

"Have you just finished class too?"

"No, we only had one Herbology Class this morning."

Karl: (▔,▔)

Having three classes on the first day of school, he felt like he had lost badly.

Nina looked at the speechless Karl and could only comfort him: "We have Herbology Class, History of Magic, Charms Class, and Transfiguration Class on Thursday."

Karl: ( ̄ ︶ ̄)

Hehe! I feel better!

Nina: Immature!

"When is Defense Against the Dark Arts Class?"

"Wednesday afternoon, why?"

Karl leaned closer to Nina and lowered his voice, "Professor Heller should be a Dark Wizard, pay attention."

"Ah?"

Nina's eyes widened; she seemed to see a big bad wolf teaching little lambs how to deal with big bad wolves.

It was clearly a very dangerous thing, yet it felt somewhat comical.

"Didn't you walk around the school this afternoon?"

"No, Cho, Marietta, and Julia went, I was reading in the common room."

"How can just reading be enough? After dinner, I'll take you for a walk."

Karl lowered his voice again, "There are many secret passages in the Castle, and also magical rooms."

Nina tapped her cheek with her fair finger, "Okay, but can I choose where to go?"

"Of course! Where do you want to go?"

"Fifth-floor library!"

Karl: ...Alright, alright! If you're not reading in the common room, you're running to the library to read, right?

You win!

...Ten o'clock at night.

Karl followed Nina to the entrance of the Ravenclawcommon room, wanting to see the eagle-shaped bronze door knocker.

Looking out over the railing, the spiraling staircases made him dizzy.

It's not easy for the Little wizards!

"Are you alright?"

Nina noticed Karl rubbing his temples, his expression somewhat bewildered and vacant.

"Not very well; I've absorbed too much knowledge in a short time, but my brain configuration isn't enough, and my memory is insufficient, so there's a risk of crashing now."

"Do you understand what I mean?"

Nina nodded, "I understand a little, it's an electronic computer invented by Muggles."

"Exactly."

"Then delete the excessive knowledge."

"I haven't evolved such a function yet."

Nina finally couldn't help but laugh; a moon-white glow appeared on her hand, and her fingertips gently touched Karl's forehead.

A cool sensation instantly dispelled his fatigue, and he couldn't help but feel refreshed.

"Wow! What wonderful magic!"

Karl exclaimed, then reached out and knocked on the old wooden door of the common room.

The eagle-shaped bronze door knocker on the wooden door opened its mouth, and a gentle voice sounded:

"How do you cut three round chocolate cakes with only four cuts to share among seven Little wizards?"

Karl thought for a moment and immediately gave the answer: "You cut four Little wizards, and the remaining three each get one piece."

Bronze door knocker: ... Nina: ... "No? Then cut the cake into six pieces with three cuts, only cut one Little wizard, and the remaining six people each get one piece."

The bronze door knocker remained silent, and Ninawanted to say something but didn't know what to say.

"Is this door knocker targeting me? It only asks how to divide, it didn't say you couldn't cut the Little wizards."

Amidst Karl's accusations, the bronze door knocker still opened the door.

He didn't know if it thought Karl's words made sense, or if it was afraid that this suspected Azkaban reserve would dismantle it.

"Good night, Nina, get some rest."

"Good night, Karl, see you tomorrow."

"See you tomorrow."

...After a long journey, Karl finally climbed back to the Hufflepuff common room.

The Hufflepuffs were comfortably chatting and playing, as carefree as a group of silly roe deer.

"Karl! Your story is really good!"

Cedric waved the copy of "the lion, the witch and the wardrobe" in his hand, his expression very excited.

He had just been fantasizing about entering the world of Narnia, defeating the White Witch, ascending to the throne, marrying several... *cough*!

Which Little wizards doesn't look forward to a thrilling adventure and encounter?

"Thank you!"

Karl shamelessly accepted this praise that didn't belong to him, thanking the master C. S. Lewis.

The other Hufflepuffs also gathered around, chattering and asking questions.

"Karl, what about the rest of the story?"

"Yes, didn't you write that the Narnia adventure had just begun?"

"Karl, will there be Hogwarts students, like us, appearing?"

"I'd rather know the story of the evil dragon Smaug!"

The first-year Hufflepuffs glared at this person... Karl clapped his hands, signaling everyone to be quiet.

"Don't worry, my family... *cough*! I mean, gentlemen and ladies, the story is already being written!"

"Don't rush! I won't stand you up! Everyone, please look forward to it!"

After appeasing the Hufflepuffs, Karl gathered with Cedric, Shabi, Stebbins, and Summers.

"Now the question is, how do I submit it?"

Should he just have an owl deliver it? Or go to Diagon Alley himself?

Karl's target was Obscurus Books; Professor McGonagallhad pointed that one out to him.

And the senior alumnus Newt Scamander's "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" was also published by Obscurus.

If he could solve the problem himself, he wouldn't have to bother Professor McGonagall.

As Hogwarts's Deputy Principal, Gryffindor's Dean, and Transfiguration Class Professor, she was simply too busy.

The four guardians looked at each other, their eyes revealing a clear foolishness.

It's over! They don't know anything!

Can't help! I'm sorry!

Summers: "My dad opened a cauldron shop in Diagon Alley, he can help you promote it!"

Stebbins: "My mom also opened a robe shop in Diagon Alley, she can help you promote it too!"

Shabi: "My family runs a magical animal shop, so promotion is even less of a problem!"

Next, they discussed Audrey's family having an ice cream shop, Ravenclaw's Julia's family selling magical items... Karl: Σ(゚д゚≡゚д゚)

He seemed to hear the familiar names of Potage's Cauldron Shop, Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions, Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour, and Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes.

So all the money I spent went to you guys, huh?

He originally thought everyone was ordinary, but he didn't expect you all to be so hidden.

"Is this... is this right?"
