On Easter of 1991, which happened to be the last day of March, Elvis Heller finally made his move.
In the early hours of the morning, Karl, who had discovered the situation through the marauder's map, left the Slytherin Dean's office.
In the dark and silent Castle, he ascended the marble staircase, soon arriving on the fifth floor.
After using a spell to move the mirror, Karl entered the passage that held many secrets.
As far as his eyes could see, the secret passage was very spacious, and it became even more ridiculously so the further he walked, making him suspect that an Undetectable Extension Charm had been cast here.
Karl glanced at the marauder's map; Elvis Heller was not far ahead and had been there for a long time.
So he put away the map, held his wand in his hand, and prepared a little surprise for dear Professor Heller.
Without concealing his footsteps, Karl strode forward.
Soon, he saw Elvis Heller, who was on high alert as if facing a formidable enemy.
"It's you? Karl Olin?"
"Oh? Professor Heller? It's a long night, and I can't sleep. I thought I was the only one who couldn't sleep, but it turns out you are too."
Elvis Heller stared intently at Karl, remaining silent for a moment before speaking again, "Why are you here?"
"I couldn't sleep so I came out for a stroll, and I just ended up here."
Karl's gaze swept over Heller, lingering on the large, smooth wall in front of him.
There was a magic circle carved there, roughly 10 feet long and wide, glowing with an orange-red light in the darkness.
"Are you doing art here?"
"Art? You could say that, but I'm not the one who created it."
Elvis Heller's usually rigid expression twisted, showing an unsettling fanaticism.
"This was personally carved by the great Herpo the Foul! It is your honor to witness this!"
"Perhaps," Karl nodded noncommittally, "Can you tell me what you're going to do?"
"That depends on your choice," Elvis Heller drew his wand and pointed it at Karl, "Although I don't know why you appeared here, it saves me an extra trip."
"Originally, in my plan, you were just an idle piece, but I didn't expect a single chess piece to disrupt my arrangements."
"But it doesn't matter, because at least it showed me your performance, which is excellent. You are qualified to join us and become a follower of Herpo the Foul."
"Mr. Olin, please answer immediately, do you accept my invitation?"
Karl looked at the phantom parchment appearing in front of Elvis Heller and for a moment suspected he had walked onto the wrong set.
Could this be something a Wizard could conjure in this world? He was already thinking of demonic contracts and similar nonsense.
"What happens if I accept? What happens if I don't? What are the consequences?"
"If you accept, you will naturally witness the miracle created by Herpo the Foul with me and bask in the supreme divine light! Otherwise…" A fierce glint appeared in Elvis Heller's eyes, "Of course, you will die here!"
As his wand swung down from top to bottom, a ghostly green light, like lightning, struck Karl.
"Boom!"
Karl, who was already prepared, flicked his wand, and a row of stone floor tiles in front of him were flung into the air, blocking the Avada Kedavra with a deafening explosion.
"Whoosh!"
Violent black Fiendfyre appeared out of thin air, transforming into various monstrous beasts that surged towards Elvis Heller, covering the sky and earth.
The scorching heat stirred the air in an extremely short time, raising howling winds in the secret passage.
"Professor, when recruiting employees, you can't just offer empty promises. You should at least talk about the benefits and treatment, right?"
Facing such a terrifying scene, the veins on Elvis Heller's forehead bulged.
He reversed his wand in his hand and plunged it forcefully into the ground, "Finite Incantatem!"
A bright yellow light instantly burst forth, colliding and intertwining with the black Fiendfyre, temporarily holding it back.
Although he knew Karl had learned the Fiendfyre Curseand used it to destroy Lord Voldemort's Horcrux.
But Elvis Heller never expected Karl's control over the Fiendfyre Curse to be so outrageous.
Not only did it directly mimic fiery beasts, but even though there was nothing combustible in the secret passage, the summoned Fiendfyre grew stronger and more continuous.
Seeing this scene, Karl couldn't help but show a strange expression.
Who exactly is the villain here?
Before this, he had always imagined himself using Finite Incantatem to block someone else's Fiendfyre.
But this feeling was quite good, and he just wanted to say, "Go harder."
Seeing the power of the Fiendfyre growing, Elvis Hellersuddenly waved his left hand, clenching it tightly in the air.
"Boom!"
The stone bricks on the ceiling and side walls seemed to come alive, crashing down into the sea of fire.
With a tremendous sound, the entire Hogwarts Castleseemed to experience an earthquake, shaking violently.
Karl moved flexibly, dodging the shattered stones that flew like bullets.
Watch my Fire Release: Great Dragon Flame Song!
His wand drew an elegant arc, controlling the Fiendfyreto transform into several Dragons that spiraled upwards, weaving through the falling stone bricks, baring their fangs and claws as they pounced on Elvis Heller.
"You truly astonish me, Mr. Olin! Such Fiendfyre reminds me of Gellert Grindelwald decades ago! The same terrifying, enviable talent!"
Elvis Heller once again cast several Avada Kedavra spells with his wand, scattering the biting Dragons.
"But you're making too much noise. I don't have time to play with you."
"That's not for you to decide!"
Karl clasped his hands in front of his chest, his wand held horizontally between his thumb and forefinger, "Incinerate!"
The scattered Fiendfyre suddenly shot skyward, enveloping Elvis Heller like a curtain.
"You cannot kill me! The glory of Herpo the Foul protects his devout servants!"
The magic circle on the wall suddenly glowed with dazzling orange-red light, sweeping away the raging Fiendfyre.
And Elvis Heller took this opportunity to crash into the magic circle and disappear.
Karl quickly pursued, his wand spinning and dancing at his fingertips as Fiendfyre reappeared.
Western – Remnant Sun Prison Robe!
Black Fiendfyre blazed around Karl, like a cloak of flames.
He looked back once, then plunged into the magic circle without hesitation.
A strange sensation, like passing through a membrane of water, brought him to a vast plaza.
It was so tall it couldn't be seen, and the surroundings were hidden in darkness.
Karl held his wand horizontally in front of him, looking at the circular megalithic array in the plaza.
Thick chains with shining runes were bound to these towering megaliths, and at the end of the chains was the altar in the center of the stone array.
At this moment, Elvis Heller was kneeling before the altar, constantly bowing in worship.
Karl noticed the object on the altar: a jade-like stone radiating red light, about the size of a basketball.
And above the stone, a figure floated, shifting between illusion and reality.
Upon seeing the appearance of this figure, Karl's eyes widened in shock.
"Peeves?!"
