" Its ... " He stood amidst a storm of red, bathing the already red world a bloody crimson, as shadows leapt and beasts cried, he leapt amongst his foes like a phantom moving between bushes.
A single swipe felled a sister, bisecting her on half as the beastial scream of his lightsaber drowned out the cries of the spiders rushing at him through the foliage.
" Laughable " He slashed one slider clean in half, twirling a dance of laughter as arachnid and sisters fell to the blur he was.
A mother slash of his screaming lightsaber bisected a sister at the waist, before he swung and deflected several arrows, leaping forward and slashing her head clean off as the two separated parts fell to the ground. He danced atop their corpses, and none could do anything about the laughing man atop the bodies of their sisters.
One tripped and fell in terror, only to have her head explode as Nox landed on the base of her jaw with both of his boots slamming down with craterous impact, causing her head to explode as he slashed out at those next ti the deceased, felling three more with one slash of the blade.
He was unstoppable no matter how many arrows they launched, for every one simply struck a barrier of shimmering purple that circled his body.
" What is this power " Nageshi sent spears of emerald lightning from her hands, their wails screaming through the air, yet they struck the barrier as uselessly as the arrows peppering the shield.
Three sisters leapt forward with cries of anguish and hardened resolve. Their curves swords cutting through the air as the attempted to attack Nox from three fronts.
" Hahahaha " His saber flinging to the right, locking onto on of their blades, his left hand reaching out to grab the blade of another meanwhile from behind, the third sister found herself simply bouncing off the purple barrier at his back.
" You reek of fear " His left hands fist closed as a crack echoed, dropping the woman to the ground as he stepped to the side, twisting to regard the sister who had attacked from the back." Please give me more"
He broke the blade lock of the first, the strength held in his body knocking off kilter before he twisted and ran his blade up her spine before a quick rotation of the wrist severed her head from her body.
" You're all so weak" He twisted around again and thrust his saber at the last of the three sisters, only to see her vanish in a burst of green, dragged to Nageshi's side at the night mother's will.
His features twisted in amusement, hood tilting to the side as he caught a spider that leapt from the foliage with the force, as he turned to Nageshi whom despite her easy efforts, her attacks simply struck the barrier surrounding Nox." How any of you came into power is beyond me"
Several spiders sprinted toward, pouncing forward amd sinking their fangs into the forcefield.
" Ugh " Disgust twisted his features as he looked around completely at ease, their fangs halted by the translucent barrier, venon simply running down its rippling surface.
" This bores me... is this all you are capable of" He leant to the side as spider after spider crawled over eachother, trying to crush his barrier with might, as he regarded the surviving sisters and their night mother with mocking disappointment.
The sisters stood back, watching ... guaging.
" Keep him pinned ... together we can" Another sisters cry echoed .
" Shut up... " His voice cracked as a resounding boom echoed, his hands flinging to the side as a resounding pulse of force energy flung the spiders off of him, throwing their black pass both high and far, knocking them unconscious or killing them outright." I asked if your lot had anything else to offer"
Seeing the sisters standing back at their night mothers side, With several others cradling wounds throughout the clearing or being outright dead, all laying on the ground as precious few stood several metres away.
" YAAAA BEHOLD THE POWER OF MY SISTERS BEAST " Nageshi cried out as she concentrated the power of her sisters through herself, Slinging a singular uniquely powerful bolt at Nox.
" Laughable" Nox didn't even allow it to sink into his barrier, rather extended his left hand forward beyond the barriers confines and allowed the beam to strike his open palm.
They watched, terrified and quite frankly ununderstanding as the green beam simply sunk Into his hands, dispersing as it was absorbed until nothing but silence and residual energies suffocated the clearing.
" You.... you think your magic's can keep you safe..." Amidst the corpses of the dead sisters and decaying spiders, Nox allowed his lightsabers blade to snap off with a hiss, clipping his saber to his sash before spreading his arms wide. " That because you have magic to move across the world and can move your sisters at a whim ... that you're safe "
" You think you can escape... " From where they were to the farthest entities on the other side of dathomir, they all shivered as a pitch black star erupted through the force, the skies visibly darkening under the radiance of the darkside as it surged from him and saturated the world itself.
" You and your coven understand ... " He reached for a mountain, the purple shield surrounding him Shrugging off the arrows and tethers of emerald lightning striking his barrier.
" Oh so little" Their attacks ceased as his hands made a gripping gesture, followed by the ground quaking violently in all directions, trees falling over and fissures in the earth opening.
" Let me show you" He made a great heaving gesture, grunting ever so slightly as shadows stretched across the ground.
From where Talzin stood in the night sister coven, to nageshi standing several paces infront of him, they all felt the cold that shook them to their bones, the shock that settled in their bodies freezing them aa they beheld the spectacle they would not soon forget.
For Nox hadn't just lifted some boulder. With his arms spread to the skies, the great all encompassing shadow blanketed everything as fae as they could see, blocking out the sun and parting the clouds.
It settled overhead, the headsmans axe that would end them all, And under the hem of his hood, His mocking smirk became etched into Nageshi's mind forever more. For above them floated mow some large boulder, or some building, no ... as rubble fell from the skies, flora falling to crush the grounds in the distance, what floated above them was the mountain to which Nageshi amd her clan resided, the caverns torn out of the ground and now floating above them. The sisters within cried as some fell to their deaths , the spiders they shared their homes with clung to their webs that were now suspended hundreds of metres in the air.
Directly above them, as the mountain that blocked everything from left to right as far as the eye could see, Their death stared them down, from the youngest hunter to the eldest, baring the wounds of their hunt, they looked to the skies where their doom floated.
Slowly, with a terrified quake of the knees and quivering lips, nageshi turned to stare at the being responsible, seeing he had shifted to having just one hand raised to the skies, that empty hood of his a void, but she knew his face to be smirking ... she could feel it in her old bones.
" You can have this back" And just like that, He let go, before she could move away or teleport to safety, a bolt of red struck her on the centre of the chest, causing pain to knock away her concentration, sending her to her knees as lightning coursed through her body and allow her movement." I have things to do now, say hello to the spirits to me, warn them I'm coming for them... goodbye "
Her screams echoed as he seemed to fold in on himself with a burst of purple energy. And as her cries echoed, eyes staring skywards in terror. She felt nothing but mortality, the understanding that she and her sisters would indeed perish this day with the spiders they had grew and raised. They had lived as a coven ... and die a coven. As the mountain in the skies plummeted down towards them, screaming through the air as visible cones of air ripped across its surface.
Even if the lighting had abated and allowed her flee, she would stay with her sisters. Her gaze fell to those laying around her in a similar state, tears streaming down her cheeks as she gazed apon her sisters... her children for she had raised them as her own.
" TOGETHER SISTERS AAAHHHHH" Her cry echoed a fraction of a second before the mountain crashed down apon them, dust and rubble being thrown high into the skies, spreading far and wide as am earthquake shook the distant mountains. A great wind exploded across the land, bowling flora and fauna alike over and away from the epicentre.
And as the dust reached the heavens, Nox stood in the distance, having teleported a safe distance, he gave but one cold snort before stalking off back on the direction of the infinity temple. As the mountain he had relocated split in half and lodged itself into the earth once more.
His laughter echoed across the lands, a sinister cackle that reached even the night sisters and Talzin herself, the laughter of mocking victory, the laugher of self assured power anyone would be hopeless to stand against.
Talzin felt her shoudlers drop as the shockwave of air finally rushed past her sisters, and as quickly as it came, treachery fled her heart.
She reached up to her own head, ripping any memory of having incited the conflict with nageshi and this beast vacating her mind. For if he knew, she and her sisters too would be crushed by the mountain they called home.
...
' Enough of these pettly little games and squabbles' He wasn't a gucking idiot, nor had his sensed failed him for even a splot second.
" You'll have yours soon enough talzin" Infact, he turned to the cracked mountain in the far distance, thinking for a moment before turning back in the direction of the infinity temple, leaping into the air and turning back into that of a blackened crowd breaking across the skies.
...
Drawn to the temple across the planet thanks to the pendant in his grip, he surged across the forests, over the mountains even as the forests bled away into arid desert of red stone and charred sands. Yet he didn't stray his course, feeling the pendants guide in his ethereal form, until he finally saw what he saught over a mountains ridge.
' Hm ... ' Talzins trickery was forgotten for the moment, satisfaction and desire to learn rising within as he surged towards the looming temples dark architecture as it reached to the skies.
A jagged temple pyramid of dark grey colour rose high over the desert it sat apon, cracks marred its surface as old buildings all decrepid and aging sat at the temples base.
' I can sense life in these deserts' Blue lizards ran across the deserts, nothing butninstinct guiding them forward as they lived little more than simple lives. ' The kwi '
As he slammed down infront of the temples base, the force thrumming with echoing memory both recent and far flung into the past.
' This ... ' It loomed over him, as large as korribans sith Academy, but far less imposing, this temple stood far older than the academy itself.
His senses alerted him as a beast exploded from the ground in the distance, reaching high into the air, it's serpentine body shifting through the air as it beheld Nox with hidden eyes and dropping maw.
" Cease your hostility feeble creature" Nox reached upward and made a crushing gesture, as the protector of the pyramid, the whuffa worm, exploded as its chitinous body imploded in on itself. It's blood rained from the skies, splattering the sands below as it sizzled visibly as it splattered.
" Ridiculous" He turned back to the temple as what remained of the creature fell to the ground, leaving any thoughts of the beast to the back of his mind as he strode confidently towards towards the temples base.
' How do I get in here' He titled his head slightly, and found his way into the temples architecture, a single entryway, an offshoot tunnel at its base serving as the only entry point within.
' Ah perfect ' He entered, Studying the strange entryway, it differed from the utterly and complete alien designs of the gree, from the rustic yet strangely adapted technology of the Gungans. No, the architecture of this temple was old ... it both looked amd smelled of age. Crags opened in the stone, but he could feel it, sense the residual energies in the air deeper in the temple, like the shell, of rustic stone and old worn brick was but a lie, a false skin to hide what was within.
A single long corridor stretched toward, lit by dark blue crystals lining the walls, energy humming from somewhere behind the walls as he approached the only chamber housed within this gargantuan chamber.
He stepped into an opening, destruction lining the room he was in.
A large platform rose at the far end of the room, a triangular platform, destroyed and cracked, still coursed with the power fed from within the temple.
' I take it that is... was' He corrected hismelf as his eyes strayed to a single corpse sitting infront of the destroyed structure ' an infinity gate'
' And who ... were you ' He ascended the steps, stepping around rubble and over cracks in the stairs before he stood infront of the robed corpse' A night sister ... no ... a night mother'
' I'll deal with you ... ' He reached up and moved the corpse to the side, turning to what remained of the infinity gate' Later ... in the meantime ... I have something else far more pressing to see'
He reached out not to just the infinity gate and what remained, but the entirety of the star chamber and the lands beyond, drawing the echo of the force of what once was into himself, and fell into a sense of ... otherness.
....
Memories, screams and echoes of voices assaulted his mind as he found himself in a different time, a different world.
His thoughts weren't his own. Instead he found his thoughts reflecting that of those belonging to the memory .
The Kwa, of whom which the memory belonged, looked to the heavens as they opened up, stars glistening... radiant light shows radiating the heavens. They were beautiful, entrancing . Yet what followed made not only he, but the other Kwa working on their technologies to stare towards, as a voice echoed from the heavens to bare down apon them. It was beautiful, like a chime in the winds, a melody composed by the greatest artists the galaxy had to offer. It was beautiful to the point it stroked the minds of those that listened, it was seductive... and dangerous.
The stars turned green as her presence spread throughout all of the galaxy and all the worlds listening. She didn't appear physically, but she could be felt, her warmth causing the air to twist pleasantly.
As collosal apparition, ghostly and strangely shaped, they all could see some form, yet it differed between races.
She spoke of her origins, that her name was Onrai and that she was for all intents and purposes the reason for their existence. She spoke half truth's and whispers that her name not only meant honour, but represented the double meaning of without light.
She spoke and wove a grand tale of lies through the skies, how it was by her own hand and womb that she had given birth to the old races of the galaxy, that she meant more for them, that the pretenders that were the celestial desired nothing more than to seem them ruled over with harsh and critical fear, to make sure they never experienced all that life had to offer. With a promise hinging on the desire to see them rebuke the celestials, she promised she would offer them knowledge, power and the ability to make themselves flourish, if only they rebuked those that held power over them.
Her words were as grand as her lies , but those of the firstborn races weren't fools, as the looked at eachother with suspicion in their gazes, the thrust off the deception held by the woman in the stars . They had been here since the oldest times, it wasn't the first time someone boasted such lies, and so they turned their backs... but there was still few who held some reasoning, some belief in the lies told.
The Kwa Nox inhabited could feel it immediately, as the lit sky darkened and returned to its previous state, as the stars returned to their splendour and the colours that lot the world faded, it turned to the nearest of its kind and spoke in an alien language.
" Can you feel it' Indeed they all could, as they stood over the bare bones and skeletal frames of their grand creation, They turned to face the rest of the galaxy in deep ponderence.
" Yes ... it feels ... unfamiliar " They could feel it, across the stars, as could the first races across the galaxy, things had shifted. Something strange and foregin was layering itself over the galaxy, something was brewing, and they felt they were ill prepared for what was to come.
" we must prepare brothers" And so they did just that , quickening the pace of their creation of what would one day become their greatest and longest lasting creation.
Things were not to be as the Kwa wished however, as several nights days and months of nothing but blurred memory passed. Nox found himself once more before Onrai through memory.
She had appeared before them once again, this time personally before the great builders that were the Kwa .
She spewed further disvours from her glistened lips, stroking their ego as she beheld the incomplete frame of the infinity gate .
" Why should the gree alone be famous for their portals" She made a grand gesture as more of the Kwa brothers gathered around her lime coloured body, entranced by her honeyed words " Are not the Lwa designs as wonderous, perhaps even more so than the Gree"
They listened as she listed off ways they could improve their standing, make their own technology grander than the Gree, implement technology the other races wouldn't dare.
And so they conjured forward a new idea, where previously they had thought to make use of hyperspace for their gates, they instead proposed something else, infinity.
It was within this infinity , a limitless expanse of power and energy, they created a hub that all their gates would link to, a spare meant to contain and released energy, ment to serve as a bridge between gates for instant travel between them.
This idea was dangerous, foolish infact to access for infinity could not be contained as seamlessly as hyperspace .
When they presented their creation to the council of first races, The Gree recognised this danger, and publicly announced that these gates were nothing but abominations, dangerous should he used for little else than weapons . It was within that meeting that what was once the close relationship between the races of the Gree and the Kwa, that their close bonds frayed, and their species became bitter rivals to no end.
It was with the passing of time, several years later, that the first council was informed of a new race stepping into the stars. A race that craved dominion, domination, adventure.. knowledge. They bore a striking resemblance and shape to the great deceiver Onrai herself , they appeared within the galaxy within a great ship that thrust them directly into the unknown regions where they came to populate two worlds.
Two worlds of paradise, monitored closely by the first races of the galaxy for these humans hadn't come, blazing through with a ship of unknown origin quietly. The two worlds they came to inhabit were named Kobal and Urthha, where they would develop for a hundred thousand more years under the watchful eye of their stellar companions.
It was under the observation of the first races that these human ancestors killed their worlds through famine, war and pollution, ultimately fading away once the galaxy and the first races had thought them ... extinct. It wasnt until after there as that the first borns returned to their lives.
What they had so mistakenly assumed however was that these races merely resembled Onrai ... not that she was directly connected to them. The connection would be made far too late however, after both hypergates and infinity gates spanned the galaxy. After hundreds of thousands of years of peace and quiet settled the weary firstborn races. That the truth behind Onrai's silence was revealed.
Her treachery was unknown to them, but the effects were clear. As little over two hundred thousand years had passed, humanity popped up once more, seemingly extricting themselves from extinction.
Much to the confusion of the Kwa, as it was them to stumble apon the small pocket of humanity on what remained of Urttha, they felt pitty for these creatures, and unknown aided the entity that sought chaos. With their empathy towards this long surviving pockets of humanity, they built an infinity gate, allowing humans access to the rest of the galaxy, unknowing the dire consequences their actions would have.
It wouldn't be until ...
....
Nox found himself shunted from his state of using Psychometry, Thrown out by reflex by the force as the star chamber he was in quaked all around. Something, whether it be the force or another being, had ripped him from his state of viewing what had once been.
A strange presence settled over the chamber, not in hostility nor apparent anger, but a dire sense of warning seemed to crawl around, whispering a thousand tones into his ears. It became quite clear to Nox that this was not simply an expression of the force, but intervention of another party.
A single sentence echoed through his skull as the whispers persisted and faded along with the presence.
' search elsewhere kin knowledge seeker ... she is watching' Nox's eyes narrowed as he picked himself up, where previously he knelt now bore the scars of a crater etched into the stone floor of the star chamber.
Eyes blazing with fury at being touched through the force by another, Nox screamed out, the chamber around him quaking several times stringer than he had been torn from his meditative state, Cracking both ceiling and floor at once, before his voice settled in his throat. The entity or whatever had plucked him didn't react, rather it's presence flittered away without further interaction, leaving Nox to stew in his anger at its actions.
His chest heaving from anger and his mind reeling from having the remaining memories torn from his head, Nox rose, staring at the infinity gate amd felt the need to curse. Now ... where had previously been an echo of the force, nothing but a void stood. As if the presence had cradled the memory within and spirited it away from his clutches, his teeth grit and ground against eachother....
' So close ... I was so close ' He could feel it, what would have been the answers he sought was torn away just as it was about to land in his hand, leaving nothing but bread crumbs for him to follow..
It was with that thought that Nox's anger slowly bled away.' But I can make crumbs of scattered knowledge work'
Through the thousands of years of knowledge he had sifted through within minutes, he garnered two names and a subject to look for .
The two planets of Kobal and Urthha... and the utterly incomprehensible ship that the humans had appeared in the galaxy with.
' I will have the knowledge I seek ... either way ' He turned his gaze to the corpse half rotted that he had moved earlier, rising with a dissatisfied huff before making his way to where it leant.' Now.... just who ... are you '
His hand landed on the head of the corpse, and dathomir screeched.
...
All the way in the Night Sister clan , mother talzin cradled her head as a terrible wail ripped through the spirits of Dathomir, as what appeared to be a particular spirit was dragged from the spirit realm of the sisters, wailing and screeching before it went silent.
Talzin collapsed at the reverberation in her head, gasping for breaths as she turned her head in the direction of the infinity temple.
" Mother talzin ... what ails you " Tahlia, her ever faithful young assistant rushed to her side and helped her back to her feet.
" Nothing ... we must prepare for ours guests return "
...
Nox studied the lime green spirit that floated before him, beholding eachother with a certain clarity.
" You pull me from the sacred lands defiler ... return me at once" The haughty spirit crossed its arms and sneered in only the way a dathomirian witch could.
" No ... I don't think I will ... and you ... now that I see you ... must be the old queen of dathomir ... Zalem " Nox studied her up and down before a laugh echoed from his lips much to the old queens dissatisfaction.
" You dare laugh at me ... I am "Zalem hissed and pointed a jagged finger at the man to summon her spirit from its rest.
" You are an inconsequential existence, a ghost I could care less about... nothing more than a fleeting memory " Nox didn't care who she was or when she came from, whether she had a sad sob story to hear or lived the greatest life, he didn't care for it.
" You speak like you are so much self... so coencieted " At her haughty words Nox sneered, mouth drawing to a frown under his hood.
" I ... am the lord of a thousand faces, I have walked through time ... immaterial "Zalem froze as Nox bound her in place with a crushing gesture of his fist " My patience... forged through stat's I've seen die... My reach blankets the galaxy, and my will, guides the galaxy according to my design"
" I have been here since the glory days of the great sith empire ... " Nox approached, forcing the spirit of Zalem down onto the ground as he stood over her , staring her down through his hood." And I will be here as the republic draws its last breath"
Zalem felt as if the world itself pressed apon her shoudlers, forcing her spirit down and into ground, arms shaking as she looked apon this entity with fear ." And when the heat death of the universe occurs, I will be here, waiting for the next cycle, and I will live throughout then too "
" Who ... no " Zalem sneered " What are you"
" I am ... eternity " The wicked queen of the night sisters looked up as his toothy grin spread.
" YOU LIE , YOU ARE NO MORR " Her cry echoed only to be silenced by her own mouth clamping shut despite her best efforts.
" Shut up ..." His hands swung forward, dark purple energies coalsecing around his hands as near see-through chains of energy began to circle around the spirits" I'll be making quite good use of you"
Struggle as she might, Zalem couldn't free herself of her binds, as she cursed and screeched obscenities at Nox, she was dragged into his body with little more than the petty words and weak pitiable resistance.
" I hope you enjoy your time with your new room mates ... I'm sure they'd love the new company " He felt the spirit settle amidst the uncountable others already present, smirking to himself' Atleast I've gained something from this farce of a planet '
....CORTEX OF MEMORY....
Zalems eyes opened up, and she found herself surprised, a realm similar to the that of her previous realm lay open before her, it was similar... yet oh so different.
' What is this' She rose, not as a spirit but as a mass of force energy standing apon what seemed to be a flat limitless plane of dull grey stone.
She rose amd looked around, there was no sky, except for a cralwing cloudy expanse that spread as far as the lands. These clouds were impenetrable, they rolled high up in the heavens yet not once did they break apart to reveal what lay beyond them. A grey fog soon rolled in, obscuring her vision from all directions, this fog ... something felt strange about it. As if it was reaching out to her, calling her and everything she was into its embrace..
" Ah a new soul to torment ... a splendid specimen this time ..." Horal- Mul materialised like the wind behind Zalem, startling the woman at the sudden appearance of the sith pureblood." Maybe you will make a good meal "
" Calm yourself horak " A new sitj spirit appearing all but drove Horak to his knees, as a man bearing a skull like mask sauntered into existence." This one still proves to have some use "
She could tell, this spirit held some form of dominion here, by the way this cowed another so easily by mere presence alone.
" please " She fell to her knees, hands coming together in prayer before this great spirit" You must allow me to escape... I can't remain here my sisters need of me"
" Escape ..." This masked spirit tilted its head, Studying this new spirit closely" why would we escape... we get to experience life through him even after the long desecration of our corpses"
" You ... that monster " Zalem plead as the clouds above seemed to shift, rolling across the skies as the winds across these grey lands blew.
" My descendant" Zalems eyes opened wide with horror at this spirits admission. " Is many things, you well go curry his favour, Lest things here become... uncomfortable... for you "
From the Grey fog around them, Zalem became aware they werent the only ones present, as the omnipresent fog receded ever so slightly. A legion of the dead stared her down, none wearing freidnly faces. From the blonde woman whose features were a twist of rage, to the apathetic stare of a bald man with half a destroyed face, none regarded her with anything less than scorn.
The great spirit infront of her turned to this wave of spirits staring her down, and with a wave dispersed them as one would break the waters surface." Leave us "
" And you ... I would prepare to make yourself useful, I suspect my descendant may call on your for knowledge as he likes to do ... do not make things difficult... lest I Rio the knowledge from your spirit and teach him myself" With that the great spirit turned away, beckoning Horak-mul follow, the two of them fading into the fog that surrounded her, leaving her alone with nothing but the mutterings of her own voice.
...DATHOMIR - NIGHT SISTER VILLAGE ...
As he slammed down at the front of the village, smoke receeding to reform his black robes, he was greeted by nothing but a haunting silence. The entire village itself seemed abandoned by the time he strode through the wide open gates. From the huts to the interior of the mountain they occupied, not a soul remained.
But he wasn't so easily fooled, as he came up to the very same chamber Talzin had given him the talisman, Nox found the night mother already sat at the end of the table, already pale features drawn back in a smile that didn't quite meet her features.
" You play an interesting game ... Talzin " He cut to the chase, growing bored of this world, wishing nothing more than to finish up business and continue on to his next hunt." Give me one good reason why I shouldn't torture you until your mind breaks and raise you and your coven to the ground right this very moment "
He crossed his arms and stared down at the night mother, hands curling as sparks flew between his fingers.
" You would have the unending loyalty of my self and my coven " The moment she sensed the spirits cry as one of her sisters was torn from the afterlife, she had called her sisters and sent them with old daka to hide and bide their time as she negotiated their survival.
" I want the Icor you use, to study both solid and liquid forms ... " Nox hissed, uncrossed his arms and stating down the witch.
" You will have it ... " She inclined her head amd closed her eyes, summoning a chunk of solid icor and a chalice of its liquid state.
" Good ... I may have some ... small use for you in some insignificant manner... but do not mistake my mercy for weakness" His right hand slung forward as a bolt flew from his fingertips, striking the unprepared night mother in the chest, her cry echoing through the caverns, sparks coursing over her body before she was hefted from the ground, floating in the air chocking and gagging as her neck constricted.
" Conjure a hundred spirits, flinging starships at me... transversing death itself will not keep me from crushing you. Do not forget ... that the head of the snake is ruthlessly cut off when it strikes" He allowed Talzin's already pale features to grow an even more interesting shade of purple before releasing her, allowing her to drop to the ground , regarding her with nothing more than a sneer." How pathetic... it's a wonder you managed to draw the night sister clans to your banner... with such weakness"
" Do not test my patience again...witch... lest I melt your bones from your flesh and feed them to your children" He turned away and stormed from the small cistern that they met in, his scoff echoing through the cavern beyond as Talzin chocked on the ground on all fours.
" Yes ... milord " Her voice rasped, the few sisters remaining nearby watching, not moving until Nox had stepped outside to aid their mother.
...
Nox rubbed his brow as the ship hurtled away from Dathomir, agitation coursing through him at the memory of what occurred within the star temple.
" Inform skyva I wish to ascertain the location of two worlds, kobal ... and urthha ... I wish for her to locate these worlds for me" Nox grumbled, Aiveka listening as her golden eyes glowed for a moment.
" She has been informed milord ...Mother Scyva has began the search through our archives and dispatched several ships throughout the systems in order to locate what you seek" Aivela responded as they came to a stop over the red planets atmosphere " What is our next destination milord "
" Until Scyva either finishes with reviving the Gree or finding my lost worlds...I believe it would be best if I did my own searching ... To the core worlds... coruscant ... I wish to scour the jedi archives... perhaps they know something" With his order heard, the X-70 jumped into hyperspace and hurtled itself towards the core at breakneck speeds. And as it ddi that, Nox knelt down within his chambers, closing his eyes and seeking communion with the force, searching for answers, any hint of a whisper or mental image about the identity of what had torn him so easily from his psychometric state in the star chamber. He was met with nothing, nothing but the forces silence.
' Hm ... another tips their hand '
