The city of Byzantium began to open its eyes--As the streets soon buzzed with people. Venders yelled out to attract customers to their stand, many vehicles full of goods from other cities were beginning to pass through the streets as children ran around admits the chaos. Old men played, drank and conversed--As older women were too keen into getting their hands on the latest silk shipment from Persia.
A large crowd, eh? a place where anyone could easily get lost--Flaytus and Eleanor walked, their hands intertwining with each other--Just as they entered the market--All eyes fell on the pair, especially men, their gaze lingered on Eleanor--Eyes lingering on places it shouldn't be.
Flaytus noticed it--His hands ever-so tightening his hold on her hands--Making her flinch. She then gazed up at him--Her eyes widening slightly--He looked at her back, eyes soft, though didn't utter a word.
Her lips curled slightly as she looked away, her heart raced, as she held the edge of her skirt tighter-Why does he do that... a thought passed her mind, she shook her head internally.
They then reached a stable--As he then got up--extending his hand to her--She gazed at it--Though he quickly pulled her up--As she let out a gasp. "I will hold you" he murmured. Eleanor then nodded.
She then felt his fingers wrap around her waist as she squirmed under his touch--His chest pressing against her back as they began to march forward. Soon they entered a secluded area--The horse slowed it pace--The silence between them stretched as they heard the low thrum of each other's hearts--She then felt it--His breath against her neck--W-What are you--Is this your first time? he asked, voice low.
(What? her internally*) W-What do you mean...? she asked back. her chest tightening as he didn't answer her right away-then: "I meant horse riding" He murmured.
a-ahm yes, she replied, her voice barley a whisper--"Good" he whispered back, lips curled, I'm glad to be the first one with you...he then leaned in even closer--his lips ever so slightly caressing the shell of her ear--"On a horse" he ended.
He watched her struggle under his gaze--His lips curled in adoration--Then tore his gaze away hesitantly as they reached a ranch far outside the markets--There seemed to be a modest house. An older man, who is the owner seemed to be caught up with something--Though as soon as he saw them approach, he quickly bowed--"Welcome to my humble aboard, master Flaytus"
Flaytus nodded--Then he gazed at Eleanor--How her eyes seemed to be never leaving his--he then let go off her. Tossing a pouch to the man--he turned to him--"She will stay with you, treat her as your guest, don't ask her to do anything" The man nodded, as he then slightly lowered his head at Eleanor, I'm Dominic lucius. Eleanor smiled reluctantly. Then he watched Flaytus as he turned to leave--Wait master, couldn't you stay a little longer this time?
Flaytus turned slightly looking at him then at her--"I will come again" he said.
Oh, the man nodded, then he turned and left. Eleanor gazed at him--she gritted her lips, when will you come back? her voice came out softer than she excepted--And she hated herself for it.
Flaytus stopped dead at his track--His lips curled at the desperation in her voice--He then looked at her over his shoulder--At how her eyes longed for him--At how her lips pouted--"I will, just wait for my return" he murmured, his gaze still glued to her--Then he forced himself to turn back.
Wait! Eleanor then quickly went to him--She then stopped Infront of him as she then leaned in nearby. Flaytus's breath hitched as she then leaned in even closer--Her eyes never leaving his--He then closed his eyes, waiting. Then--She held his hands as she placed something inside. Flaytus--Startled, he stared at her dumbfounded--Then at his palm--It was a red cloth--(A good luck charm)
She then dipped into a graceful bow--I'm sorry for my in competent behavior last night--He glanced up at her--Finally giving in as he smiled. She seemed to be slightly startled though masked it with a soft smile--"it's not worthy of you...but please do keep it, she murmured. He tilted his head in amusement then held it tightly--he then nodded, don't sulk, I will be back. Eleanor glanced up and nodded. He then stepped up and got on his horse--HAYA!!
The horse rattled as he began to fly through the corn field.
Eleanor watched him go--A warm feeling tugged at her, as she then turned around--It was Dominic.
His lips curled in a soft fatherly smile: "Dinner is ready, daughter, just freshen up"
