Chapter 71 - The Meeting of Orders (Part 3)

The council soon assembled, every off-world member sitting in all of the holographic glory they could. Coruscant was utterly, devastatingly, gorgeous beyond the confines of the chamber. Transparisteel ensured a full 360 degree view of the heart of Coruscant. The Senate stood resolute and intimidating in the distance, the Republic's version of the Pentagon not too far away, being a massive spire that had hundreds of patrol speeders pouring in and out of it every minute; it was hard to miss.

Far off on the distant horizon the light of the son was slowly dulling into a relaxed purple and orange that reminded me of sunsets on Earth. The chambers themselves were rather barren in comparison, merely having several seats that the councillors could sit upon and drown themselves in importance.

Drecarios Frost- Harry, Sirius and I will be a little bit... We have a meeting to complete and then we can focus on the mission

Tony Stark- Sounds good, I've got pizza to eat and a woman to please... I should be 6-8 hours, tops!

I closed the chat with the confirmations from the other chat members. I couldn't afford to be distracted in the middle of a meeting with the Jedi; not with what I was going to tell them. The positives of me doing this entire meeting was the chaos that it would create, the opportunity to would give me to simply hack their systems and copy all of their knowledge and then run.

Harry and Sirius no longer needed help getting back, the chat room had seen to that... Now my goal was just to get as much as I could out of this meeting and my current location. I would love to keep this universe as a teleportation location but I wasn't 100% set on staying until I was capable of creating something to achieve that...

'Now that I think about it... Couldn't I use the Stargate?' I mentally flicked that question to the side for when I could discuss the possibility with Apollo. Technically speaking I could do it myself, but why should I when I can outsource it to an intelligence that has complete 24/7 access to the Marvel universe's internet and governments?

My Wizarding companions looked gleeful at the prospect of returning home as I looked towards them. Harry was, by far, the happiest as a relieved smile coiled onto his face. Personally I wasn't convinced it would be the same Harry Potter universe, but since the missions so far had all started on member's home worlds/universes, there was no reason to assume this one would be different.

"Ahum..." Obi Wan coughed into the prolonged quiet, "Perhaps we should start the official exchange between our orders?" He looked over to Yoda.

"Hrmm, indeed. Much to discuss we have. Long time since Sith and Jedi met peacefully we have..." Yoda said. "Latest information, discuss, should we?"

I nodded my head once and calmly swept my trench coat to the side, leaning on my right side for comfort. "Sure, it sounds like the best place to start. What would you like to know?" I extended my hand out and waved my hand through the air, giving them the initiative in the conversation.

All of the Jedi looked to one another before Windu sat forwards, his hands steepled and his steely brown eyes staring right at me. "I understand, from Obi Wan's report, that you have called yourself 'true sith'... What insurance can you give us that you are not using this meeting for nefarious purposes and are in fact, in control of yourselves?" He asked with a hint of scepticism that had previously been buried under diplomacy.

Sirius scoffed into his right sleeve, the black Victorian-style robe barely shifting under the weight of his exhale. I narrowed my eyes at Sirius before turning to regard the suspicious Jedi Master.

"Insurance... such a weird word... How can anyone insure anything? How can you insure our safety? How can you insure that are not executed merely for how we use the force differently? Do you see the slippery slope here...?" The Jedi Master grunted in annoyance but also in understanding.

"Let me rephrase my question then." He said in a low tone. "Are you willing to swear on your titles that you will bear us no harm?" I Smirked at how he chose to reframe his question. Now it would be us that would seem untrustworthy and shallow if we refused. Additionally, if we swore on our titles and failed to uphold our promises then it would be as good as scraping our names and our master through the gutters.

"I swear that I bear no harm." I softly whispered, Harry and Sirius intoning the same sentiment after me.

All of the Jedi eased in their seats just a tiny bit more. I didn't let them rest for long however...

"Do you swear the same for us?" Windu scowled for a moment, measuring me with his presence in the force. He dropped the scowl after a time, nodding in understanding.

"Yes, I will swear the same." The rest of the Jedi proceeded to confirm their addition to the pledge and the room soon became silent once more.

The turbo-lift opened behind us and Anakin stepped out, followed by his Padawan. They didn't join the council however and simply stood off to the side as quiet observers. It was most likely an allowance given to him by the council due to the chancellor's influence and connection on the man.

"Hmmm, I am most intrigued by your triumvirate... If I may ask, who was your master or were your masters?" Plo Koon questioned bluntly, his large alien eyes sparkling in natural curiosity.

Turning my face I began answering his question. "We three have the same master. In fact, we spoke about her on the way here with several of your fellow members. Her title as a Darth was Apocrypha. She lived thousands of years ago and had the singular mission of passing on Ajunta Pall's actual teachings; in opposition to Valkorian." Several of the less consequential members started murmuring to one another, Yoda and Windu exchanging a glance whilst Plo Koon and Obi Wan idly fidgeted in concentration.

Shaak Ti lightly coughed into the gap of the conversation. "We should start with the Clone Wars... Are you informed as to who or what started the conflict and who is the Sith Lord behind the scenes?" Her question immediately quietened everyone.

"I believe what started the Clone Wars was the action of one Sith Lord who has his hands in both sides of the conflict." My words made every single Jedi sit up at attention, several of them grabbing data pads to write my words down, just in case I revealed something they hadn't known; boy were they in for a surprise!

"He manipulated a Jedi Master, Dooku, into abandoning the Jedi and joining the Sith so that he may eradicate and erase the corruption of the Republic at large. This was aided by the fact that a large deal of this corruption, whilst already present, was perhaps exacerbated by the Sith Lord blatantly." Yoda tapped his cane on the ground in mild frustration, his wrinkly green forehead scrunching powerfully.

"Before his manipulations of Dooku however, there was another Jedi he manipulated." Windu was practically salivating at the level of information I was just casually handing out. Anakin didn't look too far off drooling either. "Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn."

Eyes widened around the chamber and Obi Wan looked near to fainting at the utterance of his master's name. Yoda fully grimaced this time, taking small glances towards Obi Wan before refocussing on me, Harry and Sirius. By the way, Sirius was having a laugh... I could tell by the emotional messages he was sending through the force; he wasn't physically moving at all.

"W-What do you mean, my master... My master couldn't have been a t-traitor...!" Obi Wan was close to having a breakdown so I raised my hand, asking them to stop for a moment.

"Calm down. I did not state he betrayed your order... I said he was manipulated." All of them took a moment to readjust themselves before Obi Wan nodded for me to continue. "He was manipulated by this Sith Lord through the use of advanced Force Clouding. His visions were manipulated, changed and directed towards a certain outcome instead of the greater whole. Most likely, his vision was narrowed to such a point that he only witnessed one outcome out of millions... A very expensive use of power from the Sith Lord." The parts of the council that had data pads were dutifully copying the information down.

"S-so my master was, controlled?" Obi Wan stuttered out the question, the topic having rocked him harder than I had assumed it would.

"Indeed." There was quiet for a few moments before I started up once more, the moment having been reserved for the Jedi who were codifying my words.

"He was shown the Clone Wars, the rebellion of half the Republic in the favour of some independent government; most likely. That was why he ordered the army from the Kaminoans. Naturally he couldn't accomplish this by himself so he want to several of the senators who he knew, to gain funding..." I paused for a moment.

"I am unsure as to how many agreed or disagreed but I know for a fact that one did understand his worries and followed through with his request... Palpatine." Anakin immediately tensed whilst the councillors all inhaled slightly. I was leading them from the Desert down to the ocean and they were starting to think clearly after having drunk from the freshwaters that fed into it.

"Possible it is, that Sith Lord Palpatine may be...?" Yoda sounded worried, confused and bitter at the idea that they had needed a 'Sith' to see clearly.

"Not possible." Anakin hunched in on himself in relief, the rest of the council exhaling. "Certain." Anakin immediately dropped to his knees and started breathing roughly, his Padawan by his side immediately. Obi Wan appeared horrified at the prospect of their Supreme Chancellor being a Sith Lord all along.

If the previous reactions were extreme, Windu's and Yoda's were utterly seething. Windu was practically swirling in anger; though he was trying to tamp down on it as hard as he could. Yoda was the opposite he was serenely calm, so calm in fact that I doubt a mosquito would have annoyed him if it were on his ball sack.

"Palpatine has been working towards creating a Galactic Empire that could replace the Republic, replace the Jedi and ultimately ensure that he reigns supreme. He orchestrated this war to start syphoning the powers of the Senate into his hands. His army of clones that he manipulated your Jedi into creating has commands written into command chips that would ensure that the Jedi are wiped out to the fullest extent that one could manage."

I didn't relent. "He has become your friend, he has woven himself as your ally and has become a mentor to quite a few Jedi..." I looked at Anakin, before facing Yoda once more, "Constantly he has attempted to assassinate key senators throughout the Republic and due to some of your efforts those people have been saved." I glanced at Anakin once more; he witnessed me look to him and he paled further.

The whole room was dead silent.

"Oh and I believe that one of your Jedi has slowly been becoming a Sith." All of them were staring at me like I was a prophet of horrible portents...

Sirius Black- HAHAHAHAHAHA THE LOOK ON THEIR FACES!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Harry Potter- Really? You find this funny!?

Sirius Black- Yeah! They all look like they've suddenly become constipated!🤣🤣

Harry Potter- ... o-okay, yeah, it is kinda funny...

Drecarios Frost- Seriously?

Sirius Black- Indeed! 🤣🤣 😂😂

Harry Potter- Ughhhhhh, the what such a crap pun
