A massive explosion erupted between them.
Yuki was blasted far away.
Even the demon leader himself was thrown backward by the blast.

Because Yuki had been fully focused on dodging the stone spears, he failed to notice the flames in time.
The fire swallowed him completely.

Yuki was revealed kneeling on the ground.

Parts of his skin had been badly burned.

"Do whatever you can!" Jack shouted immediately. "Wake that kid up! He's our last hope!"

The magician guard nodded and rushed forward into the crowd.
Hiding among the battlefield chaos, he raised both hands toward Yuki.
"Spatial Healing!"
A green magic circle appeared before his hands.
A thin teal-colored light shot toward Yuki.
The moment it touched him—
Yuki's body began glowing with soft green light.
Slowly, his body started floating upward.
Then suddenly—
His eyes snapped open.
"HAH!!"
The demon leader's face immediately changed.
Confusion.
Curiosity.
Tension.
All at once.
The magician ended the spell.
Yuki slowly landed back onto the ground.
Blood still covered his body.
Many parts of his skin remained burned.
But the bleeding had stopped, and some of his strength had returned.
Yuki slowly looked toward the demon leader.
