Whenever a Rank 1 reached this number, they'd go though the process of advancement, even if they didn't want to.
There were only three rewards for that.
The first would be an improvement in an individual's Core of Existence. It'd turn from a circle-shaped core into a triangle-shaped core.
That wasn't only a change in appearance. The performance of the core itself would increase significantly, making the energies stronger when used to cast spells or perform techniques.
In other words, even with the same stats, a fireball from a Rank 2 being would be stronger than that of a Rank 1.
