The Hokage's office
Fugaku and Shisui stood across from Hiruzen while Adjacent to Hiruzen was his three guard ninja's. Raido Namiashi, Genma Shiranui, and Iwashi Tatami, all who stood at the ready for any unexpected actions.
Hiruzen was the first to speak. "So Lord Fugaku, I understand that you wanted to share something?"
Fugaku handed the book to Genma, who after checking it's contents, then he handed it to Hiruzen.
Hiruzen glanced over the book with curiosity. "What is this Fugaku, have you started to write and you want me to pass this on to Jiraiya?" Hiruzen said as he cracked a small smile. "I didn't know you were into that type of stuff as well."
Fugaku shook his head. "No lord third. This book isn't that type of novel. But after reading it. I would like you to reach out to Lord Jiraiya and summon him back to the village."
Hiruzen along with his guard's eyes narrowed in surprise from Fugaku request. "Lord Fugaku that is a tall request. Are you saying the contents of this book hold that much importance that Jiraiya needs to return to the village?"
Fugaku nodded. "Yes lord third. If you doubt me please read it for yourself and then decide if this is a just request."
Hiruzen then opened the book and began to read it's contents. While reading the contents of the book Hiruzens mind began to race. He thought to himself these are some bold statements about the village elders and Danzo. Not to mention the Akatsuki, and their members as well, and Orochimaru.
For a moment Hiruzen's eyes glanced at Fugaku and Shisui before he finished reading the book. Then minutes later as Hiruzen finished the book he closed it and paused before speaking.
"Fugaku did you write this book?"
Fugaku noticed the respectful tone has been dropped.
"No lord third, I did not write this book and nor did anyone in my clan write it."
"Then who did right this? These claims are very bold to say these things about the Village elders?"
Fugaku hesitated for a moment, but decided in that moment he was already past the point of no return. He chose to trust Menma's words and see this through.
"Lord third. It was Menma Uzumaki who wrote those words."
Hiruzens eyes narrowed. "Fugaku are you saying a three year old wrote all of this? Do you really expect me to believe this?"
"Yes lord third. I know it is very difficult to believe, but it is true. And my son Itachi has told me of his talks with you and the village elders."
Hiruzen's eyes narrowed in frustration from those statements. " Fugaku I know that must be hard, but the tension in the village is high between the Uchiha since the nine-tails attack. But your saying Menma knew all these things?"
"Yes lord third, but there is more to this story."
Fugaku then explained what Menma told him about his prophetic dreams and being linked to the nine tails memory. He left out the sage of six paths, but made it clear Menma knows more then he should and the tailed beast are sentient.
The third hokage placed his hands together while resting his face on them.
"Lord Fugaku.... This is very unexpected and troubling. If what Menma claims to be true, then things in the village how gotten more severe then I thought. I will verify with Jiraiya to if any of this information matches his. Should this information be correct then I will summon him back to the village and we shall proceed further with investigating the village elders and Danzo."
Fugaku nodded. "Thank you lord hokage." Fugaku and Shusui bowed in respect.
After that the men who attended the meeting were sworn to secrecy until Jiraiya was able to verify the information presented.
Hiruzen used a summon scroll to summon a frog summon that will immediately relay information to Jiraiya. He gave the frog the book.
"This requires Jiraiya's full attention, and I need a immediate response, a lot of lives are gonna be in danger if nothing is done."
The frog nodded and disappeared in a puff of smoke.
Then a knock was heard at the door. And in came Danzo walking with his cane and small limp.
Fugaku and Shisui seeing Danzo then chose to dismiss themselves.
"Lord third we will be going, and thank you for your time."
Hiruzen nodded.
As Fugaku and Shisui walked past Danzo the three's eyes made brief contact. Shisui and Fugaku's sharingan's flared for a brief second, while Danzo's one eye narrowed a sight of quiet disdain towards the two.
Then in a split second the three parted ways as the door closed behind them.
Then Danzo spoke. "I hear that the Jinchuriki was at the Uchiha compound, and that he was there for a few hours. So tell me why isn't the Jinchuriki in Anbu custody?"
Hiruzen's eyes narrowed as he was now analyzing Danzo more closely. "Why would Menma need to be in Anbu custody Danzo...?"
Danzo then stood a few feet from the Hokag'es desk. "The Uchiha could have compromised the Jinchuriki with their sharingan's. You know just as well as I do what they are capable of or do I need to remind you of the nine-tails incident?"
"Danzo. I will not allow Menma to be taken into Abu custody. My decision is final."
Danzo just stood there his facial expression barely changing. From a stoic calm expression to a tinge of frustration.
"As you wish lord Hiruzen." Then Danzo gave a small bowe and proceed to leave the room.
Then after a moment of silence Hiruzen spoke. "Genma. Go and bring Kakashi Hatake to me. I have a important mission for him."
"At once lord third" Genma said before disappearing.
Hiruzen hen looked towards the night sky through the window. He then thought to himself. Minato if you were here would all this still be happening?
Fugaku and Shisui walked back to the Uchiha compound. The two walked in silence until Shisui decided to speak first.
"Lord Fugaku I have to tell you something. My Mangekyo Sharingan, Its ability is Kotoamatsukami. I was gonna use it on you and the rest of the clan to stop the coup without bloodshed...."
"I know Shisui."
Shiusi eyes widened from surprise after hearing Fugaku's statement.
"Wait....You knew Lord Fugaku?"
Fugaku nodded. "Of course I knew. I be a poor clan head if I didn't know what my fellow clansmen abilities were. But I guess I'm still lacking considering I didn't know what Itachi was doing. And I also had the same thoughts as you. If I couldn't stop the clan from going through with the coup, I was gonna request you use your Mangekyo Sharingan to stop the clan."
"If you knew about my ability, why didn't you use it sooner?"
"Because Shisui, I wanted to solve things peacefully. I believed your abilities were to be used as a last resort. But now I am seeing from what Menma was saying."
"What's that lord Fugaku?"
"We were set up from the beginning. We could have stopped the coup, but that doesn't change how we were going to be treated. It also doesn't change the fact that if Danzo is the one aiming for our eyes, and is a source of corruption in the Leaf Village. So as the head of the Konoha Military Police Force, it is my duty to stop him. Or else he will keep coming after us until he get's what he wants."
In a small town outside the leaf village. A man with long white spiky hair sit's up in a bed with a naked woman sleeping next to him. He reads a book as a small toad sat by his foot.
"My, my.... this is interesting. I didn't think anyone besides me knew this much about the Akatsuki. But this also has information about it's members and Danzo, and Orochimaru. I need to head back to the village at once. I guess it has been a while since I seen my godson."
Then the man looked at the small toad. " Thanks for delivering this. I am on my way back to the village. I should be their in a week or less."
The small frog nodded. 'Yes Lord Jiraiya."
Then the frog disappeared in smoke.
Jiraiya then stared at the book in deep thought. "Naruto...., Menma.... Please be safe until I return.... Menma I'm sorry."
