It was a bright, sunny afternoon in the Oval Academy. The entire school felt unusually calm, almost too calm compared to what it used to be.
The usual noise, tagged by the constant movement of students training, arguing, or rushing to classes had died down. Fewer people walked across the school grounds, and the energy of the place had changed into something more relaxed.
The reason was simple: Vacation was approaching.
During this period, students from the first year to the fourth year were given time to rest. No classes, zero structured training. Just a few days where they could do whatever the hell they wanted before leaving the school.
Some still chose to train, pushing themselves even when they didn't have to. Others spent their time wandering about, laughing, forming groups, or sticking close to their romantic partners.
Teenage romance was everywhere.
It didn't matter that the world had nearly ended once or that there were minimal rumors of the Skavverns returning.
