(AN: So, finally finished the pilot and then we move on to S1E1 and see Adam's reaction to Evelyn's looks because I know Damn well, Evelyn ain't letting her little sister meet him alone. And since it's AU, Lilith and Lucifer are still together, and Charlie attends the meeting with Evelyn because their parents are out of the pride ring when it happens, so Lucifer asks them to attend in his place.)
Waiting for her sister to open the door, she pulls out her tablet. She works on some files she received from her assistant, mainly concerning the increase in hellborn migrations to the pride ring and the sinners becoming more crowded due to it, sparking bigger turf wars and violence.
Evelyn sighs at this, having known how chaotic the rings have been, even more so with Mammon and Satan pulling their tricks to gain more authority or wealth, which is also why her parents are traveling through them while taking a vacation as a less obvious way of seeing how the rings are truly doing under the other sins' rules.
"Honestly, now I know why father and mother seemed worried about leaving me in charge. The paperwork alone is enough to drive a lesser being insane. Hmm, now this is interesting. VOX TECH has been intruding on my family's business rather openly. Well, I can't have that, can I now?" She grins, and for a brief moment her eyes flash pure blazing red and her teeth noticeably sharpen before reverting to normal as she adjusts her glasses and puts away her tablet, having heard her sister's footsteps nearing the door after all the ruckus they made. As soon as the door opens, Evelyn grins and bear hugs Charlie, who gasps for air as the sound of her wheezing is heard before she weakly gets out a greeting.
"Evelyn!....Can't breathe." Hearing that, Evelyn lets go of Charlie and looks around as she's guided to the main lobby, where she sees the main cast all together, which causes her to recall more of the pilot and show. The Hazbin Hotel residents gaze at the famous Crown Princess with open awe because many know how hell's current order and rather civil state is a result of her rules and power, keeping sinners and overlords alike in check, minus the Vee's and the foolish attempts to gain power.
"So, mind introducing me to your friends, Charlie? Oh, and it's great to see you back, Alastor. I was rather worried when you went missing." Evelyn asks while Alastor smiles and greets her with a rather familiar tone, causing some of the crew to be confused about how we know each other.
"Wait, sis, you know Alastor? Since when?" Charlie asks, confused, while Evelyn finishes greeting the others, staring at Vaggie for a little longer, causing the said woman to grow nervous. Turning back to face her sister, she smiles.
"I know all of the Overlords, Charlie. Alastor was actually one of my associates in the Overlord meetings. You know I like to keep in contact with them. It's why I was worried when he vanished for seven years."
Evelyn's words explain why she seems familiar, causing some of the confusion to abate. Charlie then offers to show her around the hotel, which Evelyn happily agrees to because she can sense the unease from Vaggie towards her.
Meanwhile, Alastor is seen gazing at a family portrait of the Morningstars with Lucifer on his throne. Lilith is standing next to him, and a younger Evelyn is next to her father, while a toddler Charlie is seated on his lap. He smiles at the scene but frowns lightly at Lilith, unknown to the others still in the lobby.
"So this is the guest rooms!.... I know they are empty, but pretty soon they will be full to bursting with sinners trying to redeem themselves!" Charlie speaks excitedly as Evelyn merely looks around at the rather rundown hall and inwardly starts planning the renovations since she isn't gonna let Charlie live in a dump like this when she is a princess of hell.
Charlie continues her tirade before noticing the slight frown on her sister's face and the way she avoids touching certain areas. "Hey Sis…..Do you not like it here?" Charlie asks, causing Evelyn to snap out of her thoughts and gaze at her sad sister.
Realizing she didn't hide her disgust well, she frowns but decides to be honest with Charlie. "Honestly, Dear? I hate how filthy and rundown it is. It's not even remotely fitting for a princess of hell, much less one of your standing, Charlie. I'm just thinking how to renovate it so it's actually a decent building instead of the rundown hovel it is now."
Charlie grows slightly upset knowing her sister is right, but also wanting to defend the hotel that she and Vaggie had been fixing up for the past two years before opening it for business. Evelyn knows her sister is upset, but after nearly 10,000 years of living as the princess of hell and heir to the throne, she just can't stand seeing her sister live in such lousy conditions since she knows her sister's monthly allowance is more than enough to pay for the best craftsman and builders in all seven rings if she tried to hire them.
"Also, why haven't you been using your royal allowance? I give you enough to hire the best artisans, builders, and craftsmen in all of Hell's rings?" Evelyn asks, genuinely confused about why her sister hasn't used the money. Charlie frowns at that before speaking.
"Sis, you know I don't like using that money. I am doing well with the hotel, Vaggie, and I certainly are keeping it running without help." But just as she says that, a beam falls from the ceiling and crashes in the hall, sending dust shooting up in the air with a wave of her hand. Evelyn dissipates the dust and gives a unimpressed look to a mortified Charlie.
"Yes, I can clearly see that with the failing structural supports. Anyway, Charlie, I will be hiring some of my construction crews to fix the hotel and renovate it, so you will not have to worry about something like the chandelier falling and killing any future patrons."
